Nice hotel, warm welcome, good food. Family atmosphere.

Superb hotel in a great location, run by the same family for five generations. The welcome, breakfast, meals, and services were all perfect. The added bonus was the guest card for the regional train.

A very warm welcome...almost like family. You feel right at home. The location is superb: spectacular views of the Bossons glacier, a large outdoor terrace with a lawn shaded by apple trees, and friendly staff.

This must be one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The family running the hotel are 5th generation and know exactly how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. From local tourist advice to the loan of walking poles they were so helpful. Little extra touches like canapés with bar drinks and little sweet treats with after dinner coffee make guests feel special. The hotel’s location, a little outside the centre of Chamonix, is perfect. Easy to find from the main road and with plenty of on site free parking. The train and bus links in to the centre are close by and there is a pleasant walking route through the woods as well. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with amazing views of Mont Blanc and the glacier. The food is excellent, with fresh vegetables coming from their own garden. There is a swimming pool, tennis court, lawns and a large terrace. There are indoor games rooms as well, and sauna/jacuzzi.

We were delighted during our three-day stay at your establishment: the staff were available and responsive to our requests, the half-board was perfect in both quantity and quality, the cheese and dessert platter was rarely seen elsewhere in Logis hotels, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance from Chamonix, which made the location even more perfect.

I've been going to this hotel for about 20 years and have never been disappointed. This is also because the food in the restaurant is excellent – traditional French cuisine without any frills.

Exceptional establishment. Having tried other establishments in the valley, I wasn't disappointed, and perhaps I'm a poor judge considering I lived here for 50 years. Extraordinary value for money. Thank you to all the staff.

Two-night stay in the annex (not renovated). The room was a bit small, unsurprisingly (as mentioned on the website), but the bedding was good quality and the bathroom was decent with a bathtub. Perhaps a kettle and coffee maker would have been nice additions. No mini-fridge either. The staff were kind, smiling, helpful, and versatile... simply fantastic! The sweet and savory breakfast was plentiful and of high quality! The food was worthy of a top chef at a very reasonable price. The dining room is very welcoming and attractive. This family-run hotel is well-located, cozy, and warm, with free transport just steps away for easy access to the slopes or town. The center of Chamonix is less than 10 minutes away by car. Excellent amenities include billiards, ping-pong, foosball, board games – everything you could want! You won't get bored. To top it all off, the jacuzzi and sun loungers (reservations required) are essential after a day of skiing. Ski storage is also available on-site. My son and I had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. Thank you for the warm welcome and the quality of your service. For those who haven't been yet, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. From the inside to the outside, it was an enjoyable experience. Food was awesome too.
The only complaint from my friends was: no water heater and refrigerator in the room, but it wasn't a deal breaker at all.
The free train ticket (Chamonix region) was great too. The breakfast is a 10. Definitely do it. The view (Alps view like Aiguille du Midi) from our bedroom was awesome.

We loved our stay!

Fantastic stay! We loved the breakfasts and the dessert buffet, but also the truffle raclette! All the staff are lovely and attentive. In short, it's a great place! We also appreciated the electric vehicle charging stations in the free parking lot and the option to travel around the area by train for free.

We've been going as a family since 1976, at least once a year, summer and winter, never disappointed, always moved by the experience. Thank you for the happiness you give us. Laurent P

We were staying for one week, it is awesome.
Breakfast was excellent . Reception team always helped with each and every inquiry.
We were using our car to get ski lift, but ski bus station is located in 150 m from the hotel.
Train station is also located close to the hotel, so you can use it and reach city center on a short notice.

Very good (reception, room and restaurant). Major drawback regarding the noise: our room was on the ground floor, and we could hear the comings and goings and conversations of people returning to their rooms until 1 a.m. (and were woken up by the same problem at dawn).

The staff at Hotel Aiguilles du Midi are exceptional. Very friendly, accommodating and work hard to make your stay a great one. We loved the hotel it was charming and unique with great views of Mont Blanc and the glacier. Situated just outside Chamonix the hotel provided the best of both worlds, access to the city and the peacefulness of country living. The food at the restaurant is great and the dessert buffet is outstanding. They serve buffet breakfast, lunch with the opion of a packed lunch and dinner. We would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Aiguilles du Midi.

A well-located and comfortable hotel. We appreciated the friendly welcome, the simplicity and friendliness of the staff, as well as the quality of the breakfast and meals.

Overall, the hotel is in an excellent location just outside the city center, with ample outdoor parking. The small pool is sometimes disturbed by children, and no one enforces the rules. Rooms have been partially renovated, but they're lacking in size. There's no minibar, and the heat is noticeable in summer without air conditioning. The bathroom is very small. The elevator has leaky sewer pipes near the elevator. Room prices over €200 without breakfast are too high for the overall quality of the hotel.

Pleasant stay in the family hotel

I have stayed here many times, it is a wonderful hotel just across the road from the Les Bossons train station (Chamonix 5 minutes) and with a Bus/Night Bus stop just opposite the Station too. The rooms are traditionally decorated in Alpine style with fantastic views to the Glacier from rooms at the back of the hotel. The staff are lovely and would resolve any problem you might have (although I've stayed here for just over a week in Summer in excess of ten times and have never had any problem with anything at all!)

The facilities are excellent with heated outdoor pool, recently laid hard tennis court, indoor or outdoor dining, a sauna, jacuzzi, table tennis and billards.

This establishment manages to be in harmony with its rather exceptional environment, the Chamonix valley and the Mont Blanc range. The decoration of the hotel, the rooms, while having modern and quality equipment. The same goes for the catering which is of the same level, quality and generous. For a single night at the Aiguille du Midi hotel. Very warm welcome. Friendly, attentive, professional, and accommodating staff (for a very early breakfast). Small, unrenovated "eco" room in a chalet right next to the hotel: decor a little outdated indeed, but it has its charm and is very clean with excellent bedding. Swimming pool very pleasant after a day of hiking (towel provided).

A charming hotel that we look forward to visiting every time, winter and summer. The beautiful sunshine allowed us to enjoy the magnificent pool and the newly renovated tennis court. Dinner on the terrace with a sunset over the Aiguille du Midi was delicious. Not to mention the family team who run this place with warmth and friendliness. We feel so good here that we already want to come back!

Very pleasant stay. Warm welcome, meal on a very pleasant flowered terrace with a view of Mont Blanc du Tacul. The menu does not offer a very wide choice but... with quality products from the vegetable garden and local suppliers, which really delights the taste buds. The breakfast is very generous, varied and pleasant. Everything is homemade. Fresh fruit juices pressed on site, homemade pastries, cheeses and yogurts from the valley... in short, a farandole of pleasures for a healthy awakening. Swimming pool, tennis billiards, table football, ping pong... everything is there to offer us a simple but authentic and rejuvenating stay. Thank you to the whole team.

We spent 4 wonderful days with you from arrival at the hotel to departure. The room with a balcony and view of Mont Blanc was superb. We had meals in the evening at the hotel on a half-board basis. The menus were very tasty and very nicely presented as well as the cheese buffet and the dessert buffet everything was perfect and the breakfast was as incredible as the rest. Thank you to the whole team for their professionalism, their kindness and their smiles. I recommend this establishment in every way. Thank you to the whole team

Very friendly staff

A top hotel! The location is ideal, opposite the Bossons glacier and 150 meters from the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley train. The Aiguille du Midi hotel is a haven of peace and offers impeccable service. Warm welcome, quality rooms, delicious and varied meals. "You feel at home away from home" A big thank you to the whole team for their kindness. We will come back with pleasure.

Too bad about the electrical installation in the rooms, the terrible noise of the fans, the impossibility of having soft light for the TV or reading.

We have stayed at Hotel Aiguille du Midi several times over the last 6 years and keep going back. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent. We travel too and from our house in Italy with our dog who is able to stay in our room and accompany us into the restaurant.

The Hotel Aiguille de Midi is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
The hotel is beautiful with a very interesting history, sat below several glaciers.
The staff and the family owners are very helpful and friendly .
The restaurant serves amazing food , their chef is very experienced.
When I go back to Chamonix, I will stay here again.

An “old France” atmosphere with perfect service in the restaurant. Soup served in individual soup tureens. Cloth tablecloths. Half-board menu with excellent value for money. Very warm welcome from the management composed of the two children and their spouse from the fifth generation of the creators of the establishment. Super location… bus and train two minutes away. Very large parking lot. My little poodle and I loved our vacation during these 12 days.

It was so wonderful to return to Hotel Aiguille du Midi after 15 years. The hotel is in the most beautiful of locations, with absolutely stunning mountain views on their doorstep. It is a 5th generation family hotel (which is such a rarity), it has a lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and dinners and cozy traditional decor - it was like coming home each day, at the end of a day of skiing. Access to Chamonix and its resorts was easy with the bus and train. We loved our 8 day stay and will definitely be back as soon as we can.

As every year, summer and winter, the quality of service, infrastructure, delicious meals and the friendliness of the staff allow for an exceptional experience.

Very well located hotel 3 km walk from Chamonix and SNCF train station, bus stop 100m away. The meals are excellent, the wine list well stocked. The room is a little old with a bathroom that needs modernizing.

Very nice hotel, magnificent view of the Mt Blanc massif. Easily accessible with a large parking lot. Friendly, polite, discreet, respectful and professional staff. The room was perfect with a large and very comfortable bed. A very appreciable little extra, the safe in the room. We had an excellent stay. I highly recommend this establishment.

This hotel is exceptional. I loved the family ownership and the passion of the family showed throughout all the interactions in the restaurant, front desk and all services. The food for dinner and breakfast buffet were fabulous! The view right from their back patio was phenomenal.

Large free parking. The guest card giving free train transport is simply great, without it, I simply would not have been able to go to Chamonix because having a car with a roof box, it is too high to pass under the parking bars. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is amazing.

The staff are absolutely wonderful and make everyone feel welcome. The food is delicious and there is plenty of it. The views from the hotel are incredible. There are plenty of activities at the hotel - Tennis, swimming, ping-pong, snooker et cetera.
It is well located for easy transport to skiing and hiking areas and the pretty town of Chamonix. This is our fifth visit and we intend to return next year.

We have already come several times to L'Aiguille du Midi...with always the same pleasure: the FARINI Family lives for its customers, for mountain lovers, always trying to satisfy the least of your needs, making for 3 generations the happiness of families who pass on the good addresses, foreigners who love the mountains, sportsmen at work, and also like us, gourmets because if the hotel is warm, the table is excellent and...so generous with its large "buffets", offered at breakfast as at meals, in double of a classic service.
