We came here last year after returning from vacation and really enjoyed this hotel, so we decided to repeat the experience this year. Why look elsewhere when you're happy with the place!
Could use an update! The beds are uncomfortable, the carpet on the floor is musty-smelling, the air conditioning needs cleaning; it blows dust instead of fresh air. Breakfast is okay, not very extensive, and the old/hard bread is too close together. There's no secure parking.
Perfect, well-maintained hotel with all the amenities you could want. The hotel reception was very helpful in finding its location and accessing the old town. There were no signs indicating the route to follow or how to reach the main monuments of Bourges. After 40 minutes of wandering, I understood that you had to get off in front of the station and take Avenue de Paris to reach the Halle au blé. A very serious effort should be made by the Tourist Office to avoid this kind of mishap.
Next point for visiting the city, friendly staff, ample space and views of the surrounding area and the Cattedrale

Big problem with the air conditioning controlled by reception. Impossible to have a chosen temperature. Or very cold or off. Reception makes us understand that centralized management is easier to manage (sitting behind the reception desk) the customer... well who cares?..

We just spent a night here in August and we recommend this hotel, which is very well located, just a stone's throw from the city center. Our room was spacious and quiet, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. The welcome is warm and helpful. The only downside is that parking is free, but on the street or in a small square. However, at this time of year, we had no trouble finding it.

Air conditioning is aging, a little noisy and does not cool much (for an outside temperature of over 30°, we had set it to 25). Given the high temperatures we are experiencing at the moment, the duvet was useless, we would have preferred to have only a top sheet which would have avoided us sleeping with the folds of the duvet folded at our feet.

I chose this hotel for its location (near the center) and because I was looking for family-style accommodation (for 3 people + 1 dog). But above all for its so-called accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Except that when you equip this room with 3 beds (1 double bed + 1 sofa bed) Once the sofa bed is deployed, it no longer allows you to access the bathroom and the Italian shower in a wheelchair. Too bad!!!

All good, but I would get some packaged, gluten-free products for celiacs. They gave me a discount, which was announced in the reply to my email asking if I could find something for me, a celiac (an email from months ago), and I was grateful for that... but it's more inclusive to get something... for us... who have a chronic disease.

Compared to other hotels (in the same category) that we have stayed in, the Q/P ratio is not satisfactory. Indeed, for a price of €100 the room and bathroom are small and especially the breakfast (€13) is not up to the asking price due to a lack of choice in a tight space. In addition, we found the croissants very disappointing....................... On the other hand, nothing to say about the welcome, the calm, the cleanliness etc.

Small room, but very well designed. Perfect shower room, separate toilet. The bedding is very good, but the bed could be wider; it is undoubtedly limited by the size of the room. Air conditioning: very useful in these hot days. The hotel is easily accessible, but although it is very close to the old town, the precise location, close to the prison, is not the most pleasant. The building is without particular charm, but very functional.

Hotel very, very close to the historic center. Very easy to access with GPS. You have to enter the hotel to see its comfort and its look. Our room was spacious and very clean with everything you could want from a 3-star hotel. A very large bed, just the way we like it. Bathroom with a large shower. Separate toilet. The big problem: no hotel parking. It's true that you can find parking not far away and you have to pay for it during the day. Otherwise, it's free, but a little further away. So with luggage, it's not fun. You can possibly unload in front of the hotel when the only space is free.

Comfortable Stay in a Well-Located Hotel with a Few Minor Touches to Improve I had a pleasant stay at Le Christina. The location was great – just a short walk to the main center, which made it easy to explore the area on foot. Parking was on-street, and I was lucky to find a space right outside – it was free, which was a bonus. However, it's not clear where you'd park if no spaces were available, so that might be something to plan ahead for. The room was spacious, with a very large, comfortable bed. I really appreciated the electric window shutters – they did an excellent job of blocking out both light and street noise, and I had a peaceful night's sleep. The area felt safe, and I had no concerns walking around in the evening. The bathroom had a good-sized shower with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water – no complaints there. It would be a nice touch to include hair conditioner alongside the shampoo. The hairdryer, unfortunately, wasn't very effective – it had very little power, so an upgrade there would be helpful. One very minor thing – and I know I'm being a bit fussy – but it would be nice to have real tea cups or mugs in the room rather than paper ones. It just adds a little comfort when you're having a hot drink. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with a few small areas for improvement, but I'd happily stay again.

Excellent hotel, the room 205 I occupied was very quiet. Excellent cleanliness, welcoming staff. A very small catering menu for Sunday evening would be good policy as almost all restaurants are closed that evening. (in my experience, which may not be valid for the whole year) Meal trays are an alternative but a little "neutral". A drinks menu including wine and a few local beers would be very appreciable.
We stayed at this well-located hotel in Bourges and chose to return because: - it is easy to access, - it is possible to park your car nearby, - the rooms are quiet and comfortable, - the quality-price ratio is correct (especially breakfast).

Two nights well spent at this hotel. Very well located to visit the city of Bourges with its famous cathedral. The very small downside for the bathroom of room 101: no socket for e.g. hair dryer/razor/toothbrush and lack of small shelf to put things next to sink e.g. toothbrush etc.

Two comments to add. If the evening meal/breakfast is rather well seen, I found it quite expensive. There is always this problem of parking near the hotel. The rest is really very good and I prefer to lose 10 minutes entering Bourges for your quality of services Versus the hotel chains on the edge of the highway.

Hotel well located a stone's throw from the historic districts, a very close car park allows easy parking. The room was nicely decorated, the bedding very good. The very clean bathroom is well equipped, all it needs is a hair dryer! The breakfast is quite correct. Hotel to recommend without hesitation! Quiet hotel to recommend without hesitation.
This is a well-located clean hotel, that I have visited once or twice a year over the years. It has been much improved since a make-over several years ago. My only negative experience is that I never have a good night's sleep because I find the mattress is much too firm and it gives me backache.

Very welcoming, warm and homy feeling. Very different from the classic holiday apartments/homes. The house is exceptional with a very nice terrace and living room and takes you back in time. Pictures showing the history of the house add to this feeling. The pool was clean and ok. I would very much recommend a stay. Because of the house being situated higher it appears far away from the center. But a short walk through this very nice area brings you to the beach boulevard in +/- 10 minutes.

Staff were friendly and helpful but our room was too small for 2 people. There was no shelf or drawer space to put clothes etc and only hanging space. There was a case stand but nowhere to stand it without restricting any movement in the room.Also my husband and have a case each and nowhere to put them apart from on the chair and small table. Room was acceptable for 1 person but not 2 and even for 1, inadequate storage. The breakfast was ok but once a brown loaf to.cut was finished by 8.15, it wasn't replaced. All guests had to eat their breakfast off a tray on the table. Made staff clearing and laying easy but not a pleasant way to eat.

Expensive hotel for the services offered. Used to traveling in France and abroad and staying in hotels, I am disappointed with this accommodation which has a disappointing quality/price ratio. Indeed, apart from the comfortable bedding and, if necessary, the rustic charm, the rest is not up to par for the excessive price of the room and the additional services. The price of the breakfast offered at €12.50 is excessive. Little choice, not varied enough and a very restricted dedicated space, not at all pleasant. The welcome was not warm. It is a real disappointment.

Hello As a regular at your hotel I was disappointed by room 112 which was allocated to us. It is smaller than the rooms of the same category that we usually occupy and the view is really lousy. As a result, for a rate of more than 90 euros per night, the quality/price ratio is noticeably degraded. Damage
The Christina located in a quiet area where it is possible to park for free. Palais Jacques Coeur less than 500 m away. Old town circuit immediately accessible. Comfortable hotel and pleasant welcome. I highly recommend.
Our room was very comfortable with electric sockets where you wanted them and good lighting especially for reading in bed and was very clean and modern, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The parking was free in places although we arrived at 4:30 p.m. and had to pay as there was no free spaces available but we parked just around the corner and paid 1 euro 20 that lasted until 10:30 the next day.

Easy to find, parking just outside, friendly welcome and the room was spotless. Hot shower, separate toilet. Quiet as the hotel is set back from the main road. Breakfast was 12 euros each extra, we took it was a Sunday when most of the town was closed and no chance of a bakery. Was ok, it served a purpose. We would use this hotel again.

Great city center hotel at a reasonable price. Beautiful room with really top bedding, storage and a good shower, nice decor in the common areas which are very clean, really complete breakfast. Very pleasant welcome: a very small problem with preparation in the room was resolved immediately with a smile and apologies (the important thing is not the absence of errors but the way of handling them, and the manner was there here so thank you). Right in the center but free parking on the street, it's great. A hotel to recommend without any hesitation if you are staying in Bourges. A downside (which may not be one for others): the toilet is separate from the bathroom, so you have to get out of the toilet to wash your hands.

While wanting to get some fresh air, with the window open, I caught my head in a big spider's web... The "small" elevator is a little scary: it moves "a lot" when you get in it. But it has the merit of working! Varied and hearty breakfast. Very quiet hotel, although it is located next to the market, we heard absolutely nothing in the morning. The proximity to the “old center” is a significant plus; During our stay, we did everything on foot from the hotel. If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely go back!

This hotel was pleasant in a good location. Lydia on reception was charming and very helpful. We found that having the wc separate from the shower and wash hand basin very awkward. This would work very well if there was a sink in the toilet but otherwise does not as one has to go to the other room to handwash. This isn't very hygienic.
