The welcome is very warm. We slept in a freshly and tastefully renovated room. The homemade pancakes for breakfast were very good. I recommend this hotel.

Voor de prijs een prima hotel! Onverwacht goed ontbijt voor weinig geld! Vriendelijke ontvangst en hele vriendelijke jongeman bij het ontbijt. Het bed was naar onze smaak iets te hard, maar het is maar net wat je prettig vindt.

The hotel is old and that shows. The room did not have a window that could open to the outside and the airco is very noisy.

My favorite hotel in Reims.

This hotel seemed rather strange when we arrived as it is positioned in both sides of a street. In fact the accommodation is split with bedrooms and breakfast room on side B and bedrooms and swim pool on Side A.
It may be a little tired looking but see past it as this hotel ticks most of the buttons. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Air con. Delicious breakfast and add I. The swimming pool and within walking distance of Rheims centre what is not to like!

The hotel is very quiet but close to the center and is very well maintained. The team was very friendly and offered an extensive breakfast buffet.

Large room, renovated, clean, well furnished and equipped with everything. Presence of refrigerator and kitchenette. Fairly close to the centre, convenient parking. Advised.

Leuk en gezellig hotel met lekker zwembad. Fijn dat er een parkeergarage is, maar de plekken zijn te klein. Ik werd klem gezet door een man uit Parijs met een enorme auto waaraan ook nog eens een paar fietsen hingen.
Ik mijn auto niet meer in. Hij vond dat ik maar moest wachten totdat hij zijn ontbijt op had de volgende dag om weer in mijn auto te kunnen.
Dit soort 'over-size' auto's, bijna zo groot als een camper, zou niet to de parkeergarage toegelaten moeten worden.

A lovely hotel in a great location for the city centre. We were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were perfect for a one night stay and breakfast was very good.

The hotel was very difficult to find. Parking was a problem.

New room, with sink, fridge and microwave, very comfortable bedding, top bathroom, closed paid parking nearby, the only hiccup was a faulty air conditioning with stifling heat in the room but thank you for the commercial gesture.

Really great hotel in a convenient location

On arrival we did wonder…. the street seemed a bit downbeat, but on reflection this first impression did not hold true. Nice quiet street, either street parking or a dedicated facility from the hotel for a small sum.
The room was fantastic, large, well appointed and equipped. Electric external blinds kept us quiet for a good lie in.
Just a 15 min walk into town centre.
For travellers like us, just passing through but wanting a good bed, the chance to pop in to see the city and up and away in the morning, this was the spot.

Superb newly decorated room perfectly set out, comfy bed, with lovely kitchenette. We would rate this hotel as a perfect stopover from Calais. 10min bus into city centre, but you need Critair sticker.

We have used the hotel several times as a stopover hotel (Normandy and Brittany).

Clean Rooms, with nice showers, garage for motorcycle and car parking, secure access.

Very basic hotel with no window to outside. It was window onto the corridor so you couldn’t open it. The aircon didn’t work either so I felt very claustrophobic. There was no restaurant on site or close by.

We were given a very friendly welcome and had a really nice and clean room (53) with a fridge, microwave and terrace that no one could see. The breakfast was very good - with enough choice and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is in a quiet area. The welcome is warm and the room is very well designed. Sleep is restorative. Excellent breakfast.

Negative points: Cleanliness of the room needs to be reviewed (dust on the furniture and ventilation). No lighting for the shower itself in the bathroom and clogged sink. Very disappointed Positive points: the staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is good and varied

The room smelt musty and not aired when we arrived ,very glad the air conditioning worked..even if it was a little old. .our room was ground floor .The bed was very comfortable and sheets good quality .The shower great hot and good cold too .The fridge was Not at all cold .it's in a quiet area which is great but guests should be told that city tax and garage is an added charge ,I was not told this do the cost went from 59 to 80 ,a difference !
it's a shame these things let the place down. Sadly I would not book again ,after a long drive it's not good to arrive to a Musty room .

There were 3 of us and we had booked 2 rooms. They were on the 2nd floor without an elevator which created difficulties. The floor staff told us that we had to specify when booking that we needed rooms on the ground floor. We thought that a hotel of this category was equipped with an elevator

A light bulb didn't work, the shower was a bit clogged. And unfortunately, we had not seen the information concerning the swimming pool and its closure in April, perhaps indicate it in a more visible way?

An establishment chosen for its location (center of Reims) and its price. The only negative points were the reception and the parking spaces (now remember that being in the city center is necessarily not easy to find parking spaces). The establishment's proposal is a rate of €8 per day. What bothered us the most and why we won't come back again is the welcome. The hostess lacked courtesy and professionalism. She was annoyed and all requests from us seemed exasperated. Even asking for an invoice immediately irritated her. We won't come back again

Pleasant room with super comfortable bedding and a quiet hotel. On the other hand, at least a shower curtain would be good because even if I was careful, I wet the bathroom floor and I had nothing to wipe off except my poor socks.

1 downside: parking spaces in the evening

As soon as we arrived, we had to turn on the heating and after more than half an hour we had a comfortable temperature. The downside, the next day (late afternoon), we never managed to obtain a correct temperature. We had cool, untempered air conditioning, despite asking the receptionist.

The hotel was ideally situated for easy access to and from the motorway. parking with a higher vehicle (2m) was available ( which is difficult in the centre of town). It was easy to walk into the city centre to visit the city. I was very pleased to be able to bring my dog with me to the hotel, an essential requirement when travelling with a dog. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was perfect for an over night stay.

Top notch staff. On the other hand, bedroom carpet in poor condition, broken bedside lamp (even dangerous), damaged bathroom door requiring repainting, lamp on sink not working... a good refresh seems essential.

We were met at reception by a friendly staff member who had stayed open for us due to delays at the ferry. She was very helpful. Secure parking was perfect for my motorbike. The room was very comfortable and we had a wonderful stay

Excellent stay at Le Tambour. Very warm arrival and equally warm departure by the young girl behind her counter. Very friendly staff at breakfast too. Otherwise, the room is very clean, equipped with very good bedding and above all very quiet. If we come back to Reims we will definitely go back there. For catering, the hotelier recommended Le Clairmarais, a 12-minute walk from the hotel. We were won over by this welcoming restaurant, also with very good homemade food.

Evening stopover without restaurant forced to take the vehicle back. Vehicle parked 300 meters from the hotel, no place nearby. Having to cross the road in the morning to go to breakfast.

Disappointed for this stay compared to the previous one, because we did not have the requests indicated on the reservation form, namely a certain room and a type of bed. Exchange quickly, but noisier than expected and no hammam available, not informed beforehand. Normally next time no worries since this has been noted in the customer file.

You can't expect luxury at this price category, but within the scope of the category this is a very pleasant accommodation with modern rooms, especially modern bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is international. A special mention should be made of an extremely friendly gentleman at reception who spoke good English, was extremely helpful and gave good restaurant recommendations. Located in the center, it takes a maximum of 15 minutes to walk to Place Drouet d'Erlon (many restaurants) and 5 more to the cathedral. By the way, the restaurant of the Hotel de Paix (Rue Buirette) gave us a very nice culinary evening.

The reception is very friendly and helpful. Also the people at the breakfast were also very nice to us and helped us with everything.
The only feedback we can share is the cleanliness. At first everything seemed fine, but when you looked closer you realised it could have been a bit cleaner.
Als the room was quite small for three people.
There is no plug in the bathroom, this could have been useful for our hairdryer.

Fantastic. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The secure parking was superb as it meant we did not have to unpack bikes and larger bags for our two night stay before proceeding further south. Excellent location for visiting Reimes. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Although the hotel is in a quiet part of Reims, there are a couple of good restaurants within a few minutes walk, and a large selection in the pedestrian centre, about 15/20 minutes walk away. The pool is attractive in the sunshine. This hotel has outstanding closed garaging, very large and secure. The hotel has all the standards I expect from a Logis de France.

Nice family hotel on the outskirts of Reims, 30 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Minibar, cafe, possibility to make coffee, parking in front of the door or spacious garage for 8 €. Currently no restaurant.
