Very warm welcome
A lovely, very clean hotel. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Ideally located near the airport, yet very quiet. I recommend it.
Disappointed
Very well located and very comfortable hotel. Friendly welcome.
Fab location. Everything good but not elaborate. Clean throughout. Meal options limited but nice.
No glasses or cups Hot or lukewarm water running from the cold water tap Lack of power outlet (you have to remove the phone that is charging to turn on the TV)
Reception staff welcoming and helpful
Room spotless and bed very comfortable
Perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight. Nice and peaceful. Don’t expect luxury but it does the job and it’s cheap and 2mins walk to the terminal.
Excellent place for a night stopover from Limoges.
No frills but very clean and lovely friendly staff who were helpful and happy.
There is breakfast and evening food if you want it ( not included in cost) but we had coffee and a glass of wine on the terrace.
The proprietor and partner were very welcoming and friendly. I had a beautiful meal cooked for me on Tuesday 9/9/25. The room was immaculate and very comfortable.
I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and would definitely go back again. Highly recommended.
I travel on a budget almost never give poor reviews, but this tired hotel was depressing. The only good things were the bed comfort, a plunge in the pool on a hot day and handy to airport. In-room conditions were poor - student hostel decor, no fridge or tea-making, no hair dryer, no aircon and window couldn't be left open as it had no catch. The 2 electric sockets were in corners behind furniture. Bathroom no better - plastic fittings, dingy lighting, small thin towels and shower was a hand-held nozzle. Breakfast was skimpy - because only two guests had ordered breakfast I was offered a tray of cereal, fruit and yoghurt the night before and told to keep refrigerator items cold overnight in water in the bathroom basin! The proprietors were friendly but only stay here if your flight timing at the airport next door makes it necessary.
Completely outdated hotel. First and last experience at this establishment!!!
The room is absolutely not what it was presented in. A sad, dark room smelling of damp. The bed seems defective, creaks. The worst part is the bathroom, with no furniture to put the accessories on, no curtain or protection for taking the shower. The gel dispenser is not generous. Lack of decorations, missing or defective accessories. All the doors are difficult to open and close. Non-existent soundproofing, you can hear everything. We had room 27, avoid it. Breakfast is overpriced considering the products offered. No local or regional products. Everything probably comes from the neighboring supermarket. Not even fresh bread, sandwich bread and vacuum-packed brioche, frozen pastries. 12 euros to eat the same thing as at home is a shame. Of course we won't be back.
For the very small amount I paid I was not expecting The Ritz! The reception team were charming, the Hotel rooms v clean and they managed to find me a decent dinner in my room!
Pleasant welcome with welcoming staff.
Avoid! Incompetent and aggressive towards the customer. The establishment did not honor my prepayment made on Booking but insisted on a second payment on site. The receptionist refused to look at the Booking receipt email, but yelled at me that it was not her problem. The next day after Booking's intervention, I was refunded without any apology.
It was quiet and was what I needed for my first night in France.
Staff very unhelpful when the shower didn’t work. Was told there was nothing they could do and shrugged their shoulders. Had to book a new hotel. There was also no hair dryer in the room. No help again when asked about this
very nice hotel, very kind and attentive staff, I highly recommend 🌺
Hotel needs attention. The room we had is very basic. No privacy unless you close the blackout curtain then no daylight. Needs privacy curtains. No windows or Aircon. Shower broken. Bedding, room and bathroom clean. The pool wasn't clean and the area around it untidy and poor condition.
Convenient location for airport. Helpful reception upon arrival. Breakfast was poor, lack of choice and expensive at Euro 12.99
Good welcome, perfect parking
Room not yet renovated, according to the manager, but for a 2-star hotel, really very average. No shelf under the sink, itself cracked, no towel rack. Breakfast room: defective air conditioning during heatwaves.
In over 30 years of travelling extensively for business, this is without a doubt the worst example of customer service I have EVER seen! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from all three of the management team. Lying, dishonesty and extremely offensive language.
I booked 27 July for a one night stay on 17 August 2025. During booking I signalled that I wished to arrive between 10 and 11am. Within a few hours of booking, I received two messages from the hotel via Booking.com’s messaging system. The first message simply said “Request approved”, the second said “Check-in time • Approved. We are pleased to let you know that the accommodation has confirmed they will be able to arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request.” So far, so good.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the manager looked at me as if I was insane trying to check in at that time. He said rooms were only available at 2.30pm. I showed him the message I had received approving my request. He claimed he never sent it. This is a lie. Someone at the hotel MUST have approved the request to trigger the message from Booking.com and then must have taken the time to send a manual message saying the request had been approved. I naturally tried to reason with him hoping an exception could be made. At this point his partner suddenly intervened, coming from another room and not even understanding what I was talking about, to angrily tell me that they had no rooms available. At one point she offensively asked me (in broken French with a strong Philippine accent) “what language do you need to be told in?” The manager then suddenly shows me the Booking.com property messaging platform to show me a message he had sent me at 8.30am that morning (whilst I was in the aeroplane) and that I had not yet seen, telling me that I could only check in at 2.30pm. What he failed to do was hide the previous messages to me, including the “request approved” message! Outright lying to me! Next his sister intervenes, admittedly calmly at first, however still rudely interrupting my explanation to ask “Are you going to let me speak? Can you do that?” She tried to tell me that the messages from Booking.com were automated and that they had not approved my early arrival. Again lying to my face! At this point I gave up and went to find a coffee shop and wait four hours for my room. My polite request of perhaps being able to wait in the hotel’s restaurant and take a coffee there being rudely refused.
Limoges airport, having no other flights that day was now closed. I did manage to find a vending machine so sat outside the airport to wait. Whilst waiting I happened to look on Cit’Hotel’s website and saw that it clearly states (for les Alizés hotel) check in from 12 midday.
I patiently waited until midday and went back to the hotel to enquire if a room might now be available. The hotel door was locked, the reception empty. I walked around the hotel and found the Filipino lady preparing a room. She angrily told me to follow her to find her partner. She offensively announced that “he’s back and still wants a room early!”. At this point the manager lost his composure completely and accused me of harassment! His sister arrived a few moments later and did the same, threatening me with calling the police if I didn’t leave immediately. I requested a refund to which I was rudely told “no - take it up with Booking.com”. I left at this point explaining to the three managers that this was terrible customer service. Although I speak French fluently (all of these previous exchanges were in French) I sometimes make slight grammatical errors, especially when upset or angered. I inadvertently used the informal “tu” (you) instead of the formal “vous” to which the sister manager rudely demanded that I use “vous”. Demanding respect from me even though I was shown none at any point of my brief stay in the establishment.
I then took a taxi to Limoges centre, booked into the fantastic Ibis Limoges Centre, where I was treated perfectly, with respect and professionalism. It was even cheaper than Les Alizés. I have requested a refund via Booking.com but have yet to hear back from the hotel.
Altogether an absolutely disgusting experience at Les Alizés and I strongly recommend anyone thinking of staying there should go somewhere, ANYWHERE, else!
No air conditioning during a heatwave
Convenient but basic
Great hotel Great pool Great welcome Great breakfast Great bedding We really enjoyed it!
Nice hotel next to the airport and we recieved a friendly welcome. While the room was basic it all was good value for money
Very warm welcome with very professional staff! I only stayed one night in this hotel but I recommend it. Very good value for money. I had concerns about the noise environment but I was pleasantly surprised by the silence and I slept very well because the bedding is of good quality! Delighted with this experience!
Perfectly adequate accommodation to catch an early morning flight out of the airport. Rooms a trifle small, without tea/coffee making facilities.
No centralised ventilation or aircon, but you can ask at the front desk for a portable fan.
Very warm welcome. The pool is very nice. The breakfast is well stocked to satisfy everyone. Good bedding. The only downside, but the manager can't do anything about it, is the departure of people who don't respect the silence in the corridors. Otherwise, the hotel is quiet and not far from the center of Limoges. Thank you, Thierry.
Very clean room but bed very hard. No air con in the room. Hotel doesnt serve food apart from breakfast and no where local for food either so if you get there late then only option is take away.
For the price you pay it’s okay. Nothing fancy, nothing to do. Unfortunately the pool was too cold. That was the only reason for us to stay here. Breakfast was also fine for the price you pay. Adults: €12,-, children: €8,-.
Very good, excellent welcome and clean room. A plus for the swimming pool.
Excellent value for money for the convenience of an hotel right beside Limoges airport. Lovely friendly, helpful service, good food and spotless accommodation.
Being July, the weather was hot and I could have done with aircon, but at the price you wouldnt really expect it. (Also tea making facilities would be nice.)
You advertise your hotel as a hotel with a swimming pool but upon arrival it is not maintained and my workers are disappointed after a 9-hour day under a blazing sun + no air conditioning which should be the norm in 2025
Outdated rooms no airconditioning
Very poor service
Never again!
Extremely friendly and obliging team. Couldn’t do enough even considering the language barrier.
We would have given it a 5 overall, but we were disappointed with the comfort of the single bed. The mattress was defective and squashed into the base. A light bulb was missing from the wall light above the bed. It's a shame, as the hotel was simple, very clean, with a generous and varied breakfast, and above all, a very pleasant and professional welcome.
Excellent place to stay when your plan is late and you don't want to drive. Always very nice staff to greet you
Very good value for money. A very warm welcome on arrival and departure.
Great hotel which is short walking distance to Limoges airport, perfect for early flights.
Simple motel style hotel which is very clean and very well managed.
Friendly and welcoming staff who very kindly prepared an evening meal for my son and I on a Saturday night.
Great experience of this hotel!
Warm welcome, impeccable housekeeping, we can't hear cars or planes, but the walls between the rooms are thin. Be careful, though, Logis didn't specify that the pool was closed due to a breakdown, and there was no compensation, especially since that's why we chose the hotel. Breakfast was good.
I am fairly sure I booked this with breakfast included. Hotel told me I hadn't. I couldn't find any supporting details on my booking information page on booking, com. Room had no Tea or Coffee facilities [no kettle]. Shower was hand-held over bath with no shower curtain. Bed though was very good. Flat screen Tv was good.
Didn't eat at hotel though many did and seemed satisfied.
When new, many years ago - fair hotel. Now - tired and dated
Hotel could do with some updating. We only used it as a stop gap for one night due to Ryan air changing times of flights. Owners very welcoming and food was good.
Perfect, everything was OK.
Basic but very clean and friendly hotel
CLEAN HOTEL, pleasant room, but DISAPPOINTING breakfast! Sunday morning 8:30 a.m. no more bread, no more pastries... at €12.50 very expensive!
Hello, the location is the only advantage of this hotel. The reception is laborious with staff who have a lot of difficulty making themselves understood. The bedding is outdated, the bathtub has no shower screen, the wallpaper is outdated in the bathroom, and there is no thermostatic mixer. The breakfast is very expensive, not even fresh bread or even a choice.
Room was too small for 3 adults,. the extra bed was too small and draft from a window, very bad.
Room was not warm when we arrived.
We had to ask for an electric fan, which helped.
We had dinner, which was dissapointing.
Nice meal but served on cold platters !!!
wine was overpriced and too cold....
Despite the goodwill and kindness of the hosts, the lack of professionalism is glaring. A "food" meal and a cold room, insufficient heating power despite almost an auxiliary heater. The quality/price ratio is not there.
Very good
On arrival. Only one staff available, she did all. Reception, serve drinks and make a serve dinner. First room : corridor smelt of cats, and extremely cold, room extreamly cold and very basic, Second room, corridor warm , room cold until turned on radiator. Basically room . no kettle, ironing board.
Breakfast, arrived for 07:00, nothing prepared, no place settings, one person on and she was chatting on her phone. We had a flight leaving at 09:00. croissant, eggs, arrive at :07:20.
Staff were pleasant.
Nice affordable hotel next to the airport. Lovely, helpful staff. Pleasant garden and swimming pool in season. Hotel decor seems to have been refreshed and the addition of the evening meal is much appreciated.
Correct room, clean and quiet. We were well received and were able to dine on site in the evening even though there was no restaurant.
Sadly the hours of our visit did not allow an evening meal or breakfast as from previous visits we have enjoyed the meals. Room perfectly comfortable and has everything you need.
From the beginning until the very end of my stay at this establishment was diabolical.
Two days before my arrival, I sent the reception team an email - no reply. I called the hotel in the evening before arriving to find out if the restaurant would be open and if so, what they would be serving. They had the audacity to tell me 'can't you find something to eat at Limoges Bénédictins because the chef is too tired and cannot be bothered to cook.
When I arrived, there was no one at the reception desk to greet me or the driver. I was waiting there for a good 5-10 minutes before someone, who was incredibly rude, noticed my arrival.
There was no one on the reception desk all night time. Members of staff had not told us (and by us, I am referring to another guest at the hotel) that there wouldn't be a member of staff on the reception desk all night or in the morning when I left. I was cold in my room all night, I tried to call the main line - no reply. There was no one at the reception desk this morning to check me out so I left the door key on the reception desk.
I have given this hotel five stars because it was such good value. Don't expect luxury or a huge room but for the very reasonable price it was spotless, comfortable and very welcoming. The hosts family were all attentive and friendly. I have already recommended it and will definitely use again.
unsanitary room, broken sink, no shower products, condition of the room lack of maintenance
The carpet should be changed and heating installed in the bathroom. Otherwise everything is spotless and the staff is super welcoming, attentive and at your disposal. Thank you.
My thanks as always to Laurent (the new owner), as well as Caroline, Félinette and all of the colleagues, who I have got to know over the last 14 years. It's always a lovely experience. Until next time!
No heating!
Nice staff, adequate rooms.
Good value for money.
Perfect reception. The staff is very pleasant and did everything to make you comfortable. Very comfortable room. Very good establishment. Passage on 14.12.2023. We highly recommend.
