A really lovely setting by the lake. Friendly and dynamic staff. The bathroom in the room was a bit cramped. Very good hotel.
The teams are very dynamic, responsive, and attentive. The housekeeping staff are excellent. The breakfast is superb! Well done.
Beautiful setting with the lake, but the rooms lack soundproofing. The door closing mechanism makes coming and going noisy. The bedding is good. No smart TVs in our time, but above all, the Wi-Fi connection is unusable (unstable and unreliable speed). Breakfast is passable: two varieties of cheese are insufficient, the bread selection is limited to white bread, and the omelets are made with powdered eggs, unacceptable for a restaurant.
Perfect welcome 🤩 Thank you to the staff for their helpful advice and availability. The room was very clean and quiet. Delicious dinner, thank you to the Chef, his team, and the waitstaff. I highly recommend the Édit hotel/restaurant L'Embarcadère in Nantua. Looking forward to a future getaway 🇨🇭🇨🇭

Very convenient hotel to stop at on a long trip. It’s comfortable but basic. Beautiful view of the lake but there is nothing in n the village, so lucky the hotel has a very good restaurant.
All staff were very pleasant.
I regretted upon arrival that a table had not been reserved even though I had stipulated it when booking. We therefore had a table far from the splendid panoramic view which is the undeniable asset of this hotel. Beautiful place. Small but comfortable room. Very friendly staff.

Excellent location
We were very well received, a table reserved for dinner, right in front of the lake, competent and helpful staff: we had a great time.
Disappointing. A lot of noise from the hallway and other rooms left us with no sleep, the bathroom was smelly and we had to make the extra bed ourselves.
But great location and good and free parking facilities.
Breakfast items were sporadic and when items had run out, staff had to be asked to replenish. This included food as well as plates, bowls, spoons, cups!
In the bedrooms, no opportunities or equipment to make a hot drink, no items for sale, nor any room service.

Nous avons séjourné dans l'hôtel à l'occasion du weekend du 14 juillet, le personnel est professionnel, très accueillant et attentionné.
La localisation est parfaite, à côté du centre et surtout du lac.
Le personnel d'entretien est excellent, la chambre et la salle de bain étaient dans un état impeccable et très propre !
Le restaurant était bon, avec des plats maison. Nous avions une très jolie vue sur le lac.
Merci pour ce séjour qui s'est très bien déroulé !
Air conditioning to be reviewed
The receptionist is really great! The evening meal was very generous and delicious for a one-night stopover package. Breakfast is limited, with no fruit salad, for example.

A wonderful family experience. Fabulous setting. Impeccable bedding. Excellent restaurant. Parking is a bit tight, but there's space for everyone. In short, a wonderful experience.
Check-out service needs a lot of improvement, I'm even nicer to my dog! Wifi is really from the time of Napoleon (to name an old French emperor). We live in 2025 and 2 wifi codes for 2 devices, you really left home for the digital age.
beautiful location, easy access with parking space in the courtyard. Modern and newly furnished structure. Bathrooms a bit small, missing handle in the shower, toilet in a narrow position. Very spacious dining room with spaced tables. Very efficient, super kind and competent waiting staff. Excellent food, surprising for quality, quantity and price: absolutely recommended!
Not our first stop here but previously it has been overnight on the way to France. Thisctime we stopped longer and Le Val Moret proved to be the ideal touring base. The service, the food and the tooms were all up to our high expectations

Good, quiet hotel with pleasant surroundings
Very good hotel. Unfortunately, there's no food on Friday nights. While I really enjoyed the food on my previous stay, I had to drive back to the city for dinner today. It's a real shame.
Hello, A very mixed welcome. A room with a lake view, or rather a hedge view, on the ground floor. The room was advertised at 87 euros for 2 people in low season (which is the case), and the room cost 120 euros. The hotel restaurant was closed, I was notified a few days beforehand. The breakfast was decent, the person in charge was charming. The person who took care of the morning routine was charming and professional.

Price/performance OK, restaurant and kitchen OK We were in the hotel 3 years ago. The new menu was enough for one night. We were looking forward to the large selection of cheeses and were disappointed that there was only a small selection. The attentive service suffered because there was a large group in the restaurant.

Disappointed by the bedding in 140 as well as by the service, the air conditioning did not work well. We were cold the two days we spent the nights there, the breakfast service was very unpleasant. No one to seat us, we were made to change tables, lack of dishes, the cheese was dry. The cold cuts did not look appealing. Not even a boiled egg in the pan or scrambled, the welcome at the deplorable breakfast level.

I enjoyed the place. I walked around Lake Nantua, which is 7.1 km. The hotel is right on the edge of the lake, which is very well laid out with "benches and paths", a very good memory of my stay at the Hotel l'embarquadere.

After several issues during our stay we spoke to the hotel management. I think the issues have been resolved. The location is perfect. If you book here because you have a dog, they are welcome in the rooms, BUT if you want your dog to be in the restaurant with you, check the hotel policy first. Impossible to have an evening stopover if booked with accommodation, The relatively expensive dinner for average quality €30 a lamb shank, and I had to ask for my carafe of water and my limited glass of wine served at the end of the meal. For breakfast, same punishment, very expensive for not much. I absolutely do not recommend. Regarding the room, I am averagely tall 1.86, to access the WC it is very limited, having to sit diagonally, no need to get an image!
Hotel pleasantly located on the lakeside. Comfortable and clean hotel. Passing through on business, I did not have an offer for an evening stopover, the restaurant does not offer a specific menu in the evening. Damage.

The hotel is correct, the bedding could be improved. Quality restaurant. However, at the time of payment, the price of breakfast was different from that of the Logis site (+2€) and I was refused the evening stopover formula under the pretext that I had to contact the establishment directly.
