This is a great Logis Hotel. We have stayed several times and on every occasion the standards have been excellent.
Chambre spacieuse
Magnifique jardin
Calme
Pets looked after, food excellent and staff excellent
Hôtel très bien et la restauration sublime
Good overnight transit stop. Room comfortable, dinner very good.
Jolies chambres confortables.
Cuisine excellente !
A very comfortable room. The evening meal was beautifully presented and tasted very good. The decor in the hotel was lovely.
Good accommodation and wonderful restaurant ! Food and service was excellent which is why we came back and will come again !
Very convenient for overnight stop. Very good food .Breakfast simple but perfect with fresh bread and proper ground coffee.
100% recommend
I had paid Exoedia for the 2 rooms that we had booked, and they said that they had paid the hotel, but the hotels accounting system had not shown this payment for our account. The Lady on the reception desk was good, but obviously your accounts system is at fault and needs sorting out as the Lady at reception said that this happens regularly with Expedia and Booking. com. We wasted over an hour while Expedia tried to sort this out.
The Retaurant meal was very poor as the beef was very tough and my Wife could not eat it. The dauphinaise potato was grey - Was it reheated?
Good establishment, very good restaurant, a little expensive outside the evening stopover, from one room to another the quality of the bedding and the general condition may vary but overall, I recommend!
Friendly and welcoming staff, very good cuisine.
Excellent for overnight stop with dog. Very good dinner and breakfast.
Warm hotel, near Arras in a green setting, very beautiful park
Fairly average overall. The wait at the reception is long and the wait at the restaurant is VERY long (1 hour - watch in hand - to receive the starter for the evening's meal).
We returned after several years and enjoyed our stay as we always have.
We had a good, clean room in a quiet part of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room was perfect for two people. Our evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, as was the table service. The buffet breakfast was fine. All the staff we met were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. All in all a very good experience.
Via my travel agency I can most of the time only book rooms with twin beds. I find the bedding much less comfortable than in room 50 for example.
Comfortable room, excellent bedding, tastefully decorated. Very good restaurant
The room was clean but very basic and noisy. The food was very good but it took 40 minutes to get a menu and a drink. The staff were very friendly but they clearly did not have enough staff to handle their guests.
Second time we have stayed here. Dinner is always excellent. Breakfast is OK
Room is good value and comfortable. Electrics and plumbing could do with a little maintenance though.
Great location. Extremely good restaurant.
A must-have
A lovely small hotel with comfortable rooms and great food. Bonus: there’s a garden for walking your dog.
This is a great over night stop being fairly close to Calais and near to Arras. There is not much to visit around the immediate proximity of the hotel. The overall standards are excellent. Rooms comfortable and immaculate. Restaurant service is first class with interesting selection of dishes for dinner and a reasonably priced wine list. Restaurant hours for dinner are rather limited. Has extensive private parking in old stable yard and delightful enclosed parkland area to rear.
Comfortable, clean in very nice surroundings. Delicious evening meal and good breakfast
Very good on all points of view accommodation and catering
Very very pleasant environment. Meals and breakfast facing the countryside, small rabbits, horses, greenery, impeccable lawn, parasols, deck chairs... Typical and very pretty buildings. Suggestions: - curtains in the bedrooms at the ground floor window - hooks for wet towels in the bathroom. - sockets for recharging laptops and computers.
Very nice place & garden (and all the rabbits!). Very friendly staff.
Nice menu. Not the standard French menus.
Just one note: we had a room on the first floor with a window on the parking lot. Very nice that there are blackout curtains, but unfortunately no net curtains. That would be nice, though, when getting up.
Quiet, relaxing, well kept, good food.
Restaurant food in evening was exceptional
Enjoyable stay at this hotel with a country atmosphere close to several interesting places. Helpful staff.
Good food/drinks/bed and great shower!
A very nice welcoming hotel, which is an ideal stop-over for our holidays in France. Our only disappointment this time was that the restaurant was closed as we have enjoyed delicious meals there on previous visits.
Everything is right about this hotel. Access is easy and plenty of parking. It is obvious that professional standards are applied to every aspect. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves excellent food, well presented and very reasonably priced. A good wine list. An excellent breakfast.
Very pleasant stay. .Family atmosphere. Type of hotel where you feel good and that you would like to find more often on the road to vacation.
This hotel is a good stop over en route south from Calais. The facilities are very good. The restaurant staff were friendly and polite but service was somewhat haphazard due to the presence of a large group of business people..
However we enjoyed our dining experience overall..
Great room, great service and great food. Quiet location in a pastoral setting.
Nice place, very quiet, very good breakfast, overlooking the park
Excellent food
Very pleasant environment. Terrace in a bubble of greenery with the fauna which feels as good there as us! Good value for money with the evening stopover for salespeople/self-employed. Comfortable and very quiet room. Always a pleasure to go to the manor.
Too bad restaurant closed, could not test, so no comment
I would happily stay there again!
Helpful team and excellent food
It was ideal. Neat. The bed was comfortable. No noise. We appreciated the kettle +teabags and coffee
A haven of peace and exceptional cuisine
Hotel was shut for May 1st Labour Day holiday but they left codes for entry and key for the room on front desk
Clean room with all facilities and lovely garden for our picnic evening meal
Hotel was in a convenient location for visiting Arras and Wellington Tunnels, but situated off the motorway, so peaceful. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient. We did find restaurant service on the first evening of our 2-night stay rather slow, but it was fine on the second evening. Food was excellent. Parking very convenient. Bed comfortable and everywhere was clean
Pleasant establishment. Overpriced evening stopover
Very nice hotel, with very accommodating staff. The hotel is in a quiet village, but not too far from the motorway, this made for a very good night's rest. The hotel manager was very helpful and accommodating, considering we had made a mistake over the booking (booked for the night before we actually wanted to stay). We enjoyed a very nice meal in the restaurant. I would particularly recommend the house cocktail.
Very good stay: Excellent welcome, room and meal!
Chambre 38 fortes odeurs d’égouts
Happy with our stay. I highly recommend.
Remember to put more hygienic mattress protectors!
Nice little hotel, comfortable, quiet near Arras. Very good restoration
everything perfect, just missing the socket in the bathroom for the electric razor.
When all is well, all is well! Calm (for the person, no noise) and tranquility (for the car, inner courtyard). Modern comfortable room. But above all, cuisine and service at the top!
Outstanding evening meal.
Great welcome
Hugely convenient when traveling to UK from France or vice versa...
Bedding wasn't great
A lovely hotel, not far from the highway in a quiet area. Good rooms with all amenities. Delicious food in the restaurant. Also good breakfast in the morning. Free parking. Will definitely come back here!
Having stayed here a few weeks previously and enjoyed the hotel and service then we were very disappointed on our second visit. Due to some mixup with the communication between the Logis reservation and the hotel the first waited at our evening meal only offered us a set menus with no choice only fish as a main course. I tried to explain that we had booked the full choice half board menus but he just became very abrupt and seemingly angry with my wife and I. He left to make enquiries in the kitchen but never returned. Instead we were served by another waited who remained equally briusk and unhelpful. This ruined our entire evening.
The hotel surprised us, the reception is very nice, the rooms clean, the bathroom recently renewed. Initially we asked if we could get some breakfast sandwiches en route, that was no problem and at no extra cost. So a very pleasant and welcoming hotel.
Room 34: wc/bathroom door does not close, no lighting in the entrance, rickety PQ dispenser, malfunctioning white spot of a bed, very approximate cleaning (see window and outside ledge)
Very nice, small, cosy room, very nice shower. Dinner was restricted to only one menu of the three normally available which limited our choices.
Very convenient for travelling to/from Calais. Much more of an experience than staying in a chain hotel
Good quality hotel but more regular maintenance of the rooms would be necessary.
Peaceful location but within easy reach of motorway network. Arras is a 10 minute drive and we’ll worth a visit, even drink or meal. Slightly wrong-footed by a wedding on site which caused a little noise disturbance over night and closure of the restaurant but these were minor issues and our overall impression is of a hotel well worth staying in on the way to Calais or into Europe. Friendly and helpful staff and an exceptionally good breakfast.
Good motel style place which is handy for those looking for a stopover before a channel crossing with an excellent restaurant a cut above the usual Logis experience.
Very friendly hotel. Nice environment. We miss only the airco.
Very welcoming and comfortable. Good breakfast and convenient for Channel Tunnel
Noisy room
very good address in a relaxing setting.
Excellent stay. We were quiet in a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was good, plentiful and varied. The terrace and the garden were beautiful and spacious. The latter allows a short morning walk to see the horses in the neighboring paddocks. The parking lot is large and secure. To redo and enjoy the restaurant.
+ Hotel well placed to visit Arras, Lens, etc. Pleasant, even original restoration. Room with terrace overlooking a pleasant corner of greenery. - Rooms on the ground floor overlooking the indoor car park. Room occupied without curtain, without shutter (double curtain only), embarrassing for privacy. Access door to the corridor of the rooms creaking at the slightest manipulation.
Very nice quiet place and excellent hospitality
Lovely hotel and grounds with a great restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good shower and comfortable beds and room
An ideal place for an overnight stop after crossing the Channel and before heading further into France the next day.
Stayed one night on way back to uk. Small room but spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Toiletries in bathroom, good shower. Restaurant closed on Sunday Eve I g so we bought food from the supermarket and the hotel gave us plates and glasses and we had a picnic on the lawn. Nice alfresco breakfast. Garden good for our little dog
Very good reception adapted to my late arrival. Simple and pleasant room. Easy access and parking. Three small remarks: - the dishes on the menu, simple but very tasty (I really liked the spelled risotto with vegetables) - the desert menu which would benefit from having simple desserts such as fromage blanc, sorbet, fruit salad... - the hair dryer which lacks power.
Charming estate, easy parking and two charging stations in the car park. Pleasant, courteous and efficient welcome. Very clean rooms but sometimes limited soundproofing, especially vis-à-vis the car park where a customer (or member of staff) warmed up his motorbike/car (in free exhaust!) every evening for 15 minutes around 11:15 p.m. before leaving at breakneck speed.
Nice address at a reasonable price for sales reps. Quality establishment.
A great discovery during our stay. The staff is very friendly. The establishment is pleasant and comfortable. The exterior setting of the establishment is great, it is a magnificent building and the green spaces are great. The restaurant was a great discovery with fresh and refined dishes.
An excellent hotel
. Staff very friendly and gelpful. Room comfortable. Excellent shower.
Restaurant very good, beautifully cooked food.
A great place ti stay en route south from Calais. Easy to.find from the motorway .
Thank you for this delicious night's rest in your establishment, as well as a good meal.
very well located in the village this old and important farmhouse has been happily converted into a welcoming hotel. Beautiful perfectly ordered green space
Sadly my experience was spoilt by the fact that sometime about 22.00hrs to 22.30hrs a member of the kitchen staff who I had seen arrive at about 17.00hrs on a (noisy) motorcycle was leaving at the end of work. He started the motorcycle, and then intesad of simply getting on it and riding quietly away, he left the engine running whilst he stood talking to other colleagues. It was unusually noisy. The noise was amplified within the courtyard car park overwhich my bedroom was situated. It went on for about 10 minutes, pointless noise with no consideration for the effects of his behaviour might be upon anyone else. Nobody from the hotel seemed to be bothered. It woke me, and was thoughtless actions. He should be identified and told not to do it in future. His actions were completely pointless and unecessary.
I'm sorry to mention this, but it did spoil my experience, and was unecessary. My French is not good enough to hold such a conversation face to face. (I am a British visitor).
following a storm in the night some difficulties for hot water
Comfortable room, good restaurant, excellent breakfast and friendly staff - and the perfect location close to the A26 as we were travelling back to Calais after a holiday elsewhere in France. We will probably use this hotel again on our next trip to France. The only criticism we have is of the over-bath shower in the bathroom - it needs a proper shower rail/head so that you can shower under it rather than have to hold it in your hand as you wash. Be aware that if they are hosting a wedding (as they were when we stayed) then parking may be limited and dinner may be a little later than usual - but this shouldn't be a problem on most days. Most rooms are upstairs and there is no lift (as is quite common in many Logis hotels) - so again this may be an issue for some people to consider.
