Restaurant le Central

we have stayed a few times at le Central and have never had any major issues. we had a garden facing upstairs room this time and we reported that the water in sink and toilet were not running very well. Apart from that, no complaints and we would happily stay there again.

Very pleasant service and friendly staff. Room very spacious and very neat. It was a bit chilly upon arrival in the room. Bathroom was generally very clean. There only seemed to be a mold problem between the tiles in the bathroom. Probably moisture problem. The room was really spotless and looked almost new. Delicious food in the restaurant and also breakfast.

Beautiful establishment in the heart of Coulon. Beautiful spacious room, perfect service, and very good restaurant. Small downside, the breakfast is not up to par with the rest. Stale pastries, stale juice, barely fresh egg, very average choice of cheese in plastic for a hotel of this quality.

Gastronomic restaurant

ON arrival we were told that there was no table available for dinner despite we had telephoned earlier in the day and booked for dinner. After much ado we were easily accommodated and had an excellent dinner which had been recommended by friends. This was our only problem with our stay and will be back but will book the restaurant earlier as it seems very popular

Poor - No access to Hotel or car park until 1630 and The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. As against that the Hotel receptionist offered a warm greeting and couldnt have been more helpful..... 10 out of 10 for staff 5 out of 10 for facilities.

Always enjoy staying here. Centrally located with private parking. Accessible for transporting luggage and dogs. We chose the modern garden rooms with balcony or terrace and air con. Very comfortable bed and a bath. Good breakfast. Very clean and staff are most gracious and helpful.

Great location in the town centre. Great for cyclists. The reception was really helpful when I arrived wet and muddy after a downpour. Rooms comfortable- but be prepared to walk up the stairs (no elevator). Nb if it's really hot don't expect air con. I had a lovely evening meal.

After spending a week at the Hotel Central, it is very annoying to make a negative comment as there was nothing to criticize, apart from a lack of choice in the menus (if you stay there the week!) , but this restaurant being a gourmet table we were absolutely not disappointed, quite the contrary: top quality products, superb presentation, explanations from the staff on the perfect dishes. In fact, we can only say our full and complete satisfaction with this hotel, with its warm welcome and attentive staff to advise us on the visits to be made in the region and finally with the table which delighted our taste buds (the boss being a recognized chef)!
