Restaurant Plage Saint Jean

Beautiful place, lovely setting, peaceful. The restaurant was very good and the view magnificent. However, the heating in my room wasn't working; the window was open when I arrived at 7 pm, which wasn't very pleasant. Breakfast was great; it's rare to find a good selection of savory options in guesthouses, but this one was excellent. The carpet and just a sheet on the mattress weren't ideal. Otherwise, this guesthouse is a great place to stay.

Fantastic! A wellness area with a pool, jacuzzi, indoor sauna, and two additional jacuzzis. It's exceptional for an overnight stay after work, with private access to the sea... what more could you ask for? The welcome was top-notch, with smiles and no fuss. I highly recommend it! See you soon!

Impeccable welcome and staff. Hearty and delicious breakfast. The only downside: the cleanliness of the floors and lighting. The room was a bit expensive because it was a bit cramped.

- Room 217 is very sun exposed and extremely hot, as well as the floor leading up to the room - Breakfast is not allergy-friendly (very limited selection and lacking alternatives) and no fresh vegetables (salad, cucumber, tomato etc.) - Invoice was asked twice to be sent via email, never received it via email. It should be possible to get an email address correctly... Big plus is the location directly at the sea and very nearby the restaurants, spa and sand beach. Pool probably a plus when the sea is not an option, but very limited hours...

I had to wash my car after staying in the hotel parking lot, which was covered in mud from the rain. The room was freezing! Difficulty adjusting the heating! Impossible to connect to the wifi despite what the receptionist said. The room was not cleaned between the two nights. When I arrived, the clean towels were still damp! An aging hotel that needs work. The sublime aspect of having the beach at the very end is spoiled by the fact that it is full of trash.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to share my experience following my stay at your establishment. While the welcome and cleanliness of the hotel were satisfactory, there were several points that did not quite meet my expectations, particularly with regard to the services advertised. First of all, the wellness facilities, which were a significant part of my reservation, did not meet the standards described in the advertisement. The indoor bath was cold, making it unpleasant to use. In addition, the swimming pool was not heated, which was disappointing, especially in winter. The sauna, which was another sought-after feature, did not work properly, as it would go into safety mode every 15 minutes, making it impossible to use. As for the outdoor jacuzzis, one was cold and the other hot, but their cleanliness left something to be desired, which did not contribute to a relaxing experience. Regarding the room, although very clean, I regret that the configuration of the beds into two single beds made the night for two less pleasant. In addition, the wellness area being located in an external building was not practical, especially in winter. Overall, my stay did not correspond to what I imagined and, unfortunately, I find that the value for money was not up to my expectations. Super friendly staff. Perfect and clean room. Ideal location for access to the SNCF train station and a beautiful walk along the coast to the city center. Secure parking. And super comfortable bedding. We couldn't go to the restaurant because it was closed for vacation.

The hotel is quite decent. Rooms need a bit of revamping. Breakfast menu was good.

Room not very clean. Spider webs. Crushed insects on the ceiling and other. Dusty curtain. Access door to bathroom and toilet dirty traces inside and out. Dust visible on the wall carpet headboard. No mattress and pillow protection despite the cleanliness of the linen. Small shower. ... I leave some because there is too much to say ... the hotel seems dilapidated and lacks maintenance. The restaurant staff pleasant and smiling. 2 receptionists, one pleasant the other less so but the job is done. Good location of the hotel.

Hotel well located because close to the beaches, quiet, and the big advantage is the free private parking. Restaurant (to be reserved at reception) is excellent and pleasant. Smiling and pleasant staff. Breakfast buffet very good. The room and bathroom are small but functional.

The hotel Is quite good, especially the amenities such as pool and jacuzzi. The price is quite high for a 3-star hotel, but being the second weekend of August is understandable. However, 2 problematic things have happened: first, and most important, I left my keys at the reception when I was out. When I came back, I asked for them and the lady at the reception (whom have never seen me before) just gave me the keys without asking me for my name or document, which is a big big problem. Second, I understand that a three star hotel has a lower level of service, but the bathroom was dirty, particularly the towels that we were provided. During the stay over, the towels were not changed but simply hanged in the bathroom with the addition of a long black hair inside them.

Really great welcome! Pleasant stay

For a 3 star the breakfast is disappointing no fruit, only fruit in syrup. Very industrial pastries...of the 3 jaccusis none were clean and in particular one of the 2 exteriors was execrable! Layer of filth, cloudy water and plastic covers covered with suspicious deposits and separated from their support. When we reported it the next morning when leaving, the person at reception told us that unfortunately at the end of the day it was logical….amazing! I, who had chosen this hotel for a family gift, am extremely disappointed in particular / price paid for 2 nights with this type of service which raises questions / hygiene, ditto for shower joints with mold. In summary, I do not recommend this so-called “spa” hotel….

The price is high for the quality of the poorly insulated room. We heard the conversations and snoring of guests from the next room separated by a door.

Quite disappointed in general, we came to relax 2 jacuzzis out of 3 were working so difficult to access due to lack of places, very cold swimming pool, sauna with the door which works very poorly, the breakfast is almost only composed of industrial products (cheese, juice, etc.) no fruit. On Friday at 11:20 p.m. we got kicked out of the billiard room where there was no one and we didn't make a sound, while the next day people were at the bar at more than half past midnight! The elevator was broken during the 3 day stay! Fortunately we are not disabled!!! Then in the middle of the day the vacuum cleaner was lying around the stairs, my husband almost stole the stairs because the cord was trailing all over the stairs.

Sur la table du petit déjeuner, les verres ou fourchettes apparemment non utilisés, puisque c'est le jugement de la dame qui débarrasse, sont laissés et les chemins de table en papier sont essuyés et non changés à chaque fois. Je peux comprendre les restrictions d'eau mais ce n'est pas digne d'un 3 étoiles. Le choix est limité, les aliments sont resséchés, on est loin des beaux buffets de certains 3 étoiles.
La propreté laisse aussi à désirer, tant dans les communs que dans les chambres.
La poussière est visible à l'oeil nu sur les escaliers en moquette, d'autant plus quand vous marchez derrière quelqu'un qui monte devant vous. Et c'est pareil dans les chambres.
Les serviettes de toilettes ne sont pas toujours propres.
Je n'y retournerai pas, une expérience bien décevante.

Excellent welcome, good value for money. Minibar and bottles of cold water are very good. There is no place to put your toiletries on and a shelf for the shower to avoid putting everything on the floor.
