très bon séjour , très bon service le soir , personne très agréable , pdj du dimanche matin parfait , par contre celui du lundi matin catastrophe , plus de pain , plus de jambon blanc , plus de jus d orange , plus de fromage ,plus d eau pour cuire les œufs , il n y a personne dans la salle : elle est trop occupée à discuter avec sa collègue au bar . autre point à revoir , le parking sale bcp de déchets et mal entretenu avec des trous cratères !!
Personnel agréable et déco plutôt jolie. Mes remarques s'appliquent à différentes chambres que j'ai occupées. Il manque du mobilier pour poser ses affaires, notamment dans les parties salles d'eau. Il manque des patères et des étagères. L'éclairage est trop sombre, il faudrait plus de lumière si on en a besoin. Surtout j'ai eu froid le matin, le chauffage ne se déclenchant pas (chambre 8 surtout), y compris dans la salle d'eau. Les rideaux ne sont pas assez occultants, ils laissent passer trop de lumière de la rue la nuit. L'isolation phonique est un peu insuffisante aussi. Côté restaurant, à mon goût, il manque des plats autres que poisson ou viande, et il faudrait des desserts légers, fruités (pas que des glaces et des gâteaux ou crèmes). Au petit-déjeuner, j'aimerais du pain complet ou de campagne et des flocons d'avoine (mais sinon le buffet est bien).
Evening stopover, very good To do again without hesitation!
The room is good but very poorly located facing the train and a light all night. No shutter is a shame for a room of this standard. Note that no channels were available on the television and that's a shame. For the rest everything was good.
I had previously written the review below, however my first opinion leaves room for great disappointment. I tried a room in the main building. For this second visit I found myself in room 20, clearly it stinks. The cleaning was clearly not done. A little spider's nest to spend the night next to me in the lampshade, really cute! In addition the prices have increased I add from my own pocket thinking of finding the hotel of my first visit but no in fact I would have been better received in a budget ibis. But what a magnificent discovery this evening, a very charming hotel-restaurant with clean and spacious rooms. As for the restaurant, a treat and all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely come back on my next trips to the region.

This 3-4 times I go to this hotel and I am always disappointed with the reception, each time, there are problems and untrained people. This is a shame because the food is good, the rooms are very good with excellent comfort.

Establishment without air conditioning near a railway line. As a result, it was very hot in the room and it was impossible to open the window due to the noise of the railway track. The TV remote in room 22 would not turn it on or off. You had to go to the television to do this. Lack of floor mats for exiting the bathtub. Result a towel carries the second being put on the ground. Too bad, otherwise we eat on the terrace to take advantage of the reflection and the lack of correction of the cooks (music, a little loud, discussion not always classy, etc.) It was my second stay in this establishment. Too bad, the first one went very well. Difficulties to have a room with a double bed despite a reservation providing for this. I called several times and had been informed that this was possible. When I arrived I had to go back to reception to change rooms because we were in a room with two single beds.
The building inside and out needs attention to bring it up. To a standard I would expect from Logis

Hello, on the whole the hotel is quite correct but some points disappointed me. I was badly received when I arrived, I had reserved a room with a double bed and not two twin beds. The shower cubicle was in poor condition and not very clean. On the positive side, the soundproofing and the room amenities are good. Very satisfied with the restaurant.
Very friendly welcome. All lovely employees. The evening meal was excellent except for the dessert which we did not appreciate. Quiet room . Well isolated from street noise and daylight I highly recommend
Hotel which could have a lot of charm by its old side, but which needs a complete renovation in all areas (old-fashioned carpet, Absence of curtains on the window of the bathroom which overlooks the courtyard of the restaurant, only exists a black curtain that hides all the light., shower with black joints), moreover the cleaning is not perfect, the minimum is done, on the other hand very good bedding. We have the feeling of a lack of maintenance in general. We had taken half board and we had the feeling of eating dishes served with recycled ingredients from the day before. Breakfast ok but limited in choice. Compared to the services expected in a home in France, we are very disappointed. The services do not correspond to the Label. In addition, when paying, no one asked our opinion on our stay.
Last July 12, I stayed one night in your establishment, the Auberge Normande in Carentan. I had gone through the Logis reservation center to book (from 06/15/2022) - Reservation n° 12-93630-1240 attached. Traveling by bicycle, on 07/12, planning to arrive after 6:00 p.m., as the Central recommends, I called the hotel and got the voicemail. So I showed up at the hotel around 7:00 p.m. There, although the hotel was open to all winds, there was no one to welcome me. A poster at the reception invited the customer, in case of absence, either to call the number that I had already dialed some time before (which I did again without success) or to go to "the Hôtel Escapade - opposite the train station - a hundred meters away". There, indeed, I was told that the company had 2 hotel establishments and that I was expected at the "Auberge Normande" where I would find a room ready for me with the key on the door. U-turn at the Auberge Normande. After my installation, I dined at the hotel "Escapade" (the Auberge Normande obviously did not (more?) eat, which I did not know). Contrary to what I had initially planned, firstly because it was no longer served at the Auberge Normande (but at the Escapade, 100 m further on) and I felt that it was served too late (8:00 a.m.), I canceled the "breakfast" service. I was therefore invited to pay the same evening, which I did. To this end, you will find the note for "L'Escapade" (with room and dinner) as well as the credit card receipt for an amount of €85.80 attached. In fact, during my short stay at the Auberge Normande, I didn't meet a single living soul there. Surprise while doing my accounts yesterday (and you will also notice it by reading the bank account statement in the appendix): not only the service of €85.80 was debited to me but also the amount of the reservation, this one not being canceled by the "consumption" of the actual service But what shocks me is also the value of this amount (and here I am also contacting the Central Reservations Office): €111. Why €111, when the reservation specified black on white €105? What worries me is that the amounts can change with one wave of a magic wand!? Why not €1,000, in this case if we can play on the amounts to the detriment and without the knowledge of the customers if, as I know of them, they do not check their accounts. You will therefore want to reimburse me immediately the sum of 111 € by any means of your choice, ideally by bank transfer (RIB attached). In conclusion, I am only half surprised by the approach I have to take today, so much the reception received on 12/07 had left me with a feeling of uncertainty in the management of (the) establishments. and uncomfortable, in any case far from that usually felt (and entitled to be) in other establishments referenced "Logis". The lesson that I also draw is that in the future it will be with the greatest reserve that I will use the Reservation Center when I see how we can play with customers' money ( once again: luckily I watch my accounts). The chef died we arrived in a closed hotel I had called the day before and we were told nothing! we had booked the restaurant the same evening of course it was closed. We contacted the manager who told us that our room was open. We opened the door and there was a well-hidden water leak in the walls that blistered a disgusting parquet floor! in short, given the context, we went to another Logis hotel, this one too, and much better... We could understand that a death leads to a closure, but at least the staff could call us, we would have organized ourselves differently! In addition for the restaurant le culo to tell me that the brasserie opposite the station makes the same kitchen and that it is there to welcome us. In short, not ready to go back!! run away
Very warm welcome even though we arrived very late. We were able to arrange for key collection. Very nice room for a family of 4. And very nice bathroom upstairs. Our stay went very well and we will definitely return when we are in the area.
