L'auberge est propre et très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont absolument charmants. Je recommanderais surtout de visiter l'auberge au printemps ou à l'automne.

Petit hic: la ventilation. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés (en pleine canicule), notre chambre n'offrait aucune circulation d'air. La seule option était d'ouvrir grand les fenêtres... et de faire entrer les moustiques par dizaines. La propriétaire nous a gentiment trouvé un ventilateur le deuxième jour. Ça a fait une certaine différence.

Quiet location, close to Houlgate. Good welcome by the manager. Small room, soundproofing needs to be reviewed, you can hear everything that happens in the other rooms: snoring etc.. tiny bathroom, with more of a hand basin than a sink, no room to move inside the room bathrooms. Moderately maintained exterior, a shame because it is a beautiful outdoor location. Disappointing breakfast for 14th, no jam on the 1st day, however hard-boiled eggs on the 1st day and more on the following days?? Everything is placed on a round table, including the cold meats, not great when it's hot. On the other hand, dinner at the restaurant 4-course menu, great, good products, beautiful presentations. Erg vriendelijke avangst. From the inn is oud dus de kamer was een beetje krap bemeten. Dat is niet erg. Het was schoon, netjes en verzorgd. Het enige aandachtspunt zou or ons zijn: het bijt. The hotel is correct in its category the dinner nothing to complain about (good quality - dishes that are out of the ordinary) the disappointing breakfast coffee well jams well on the other hand the pastries, the brioche and the rolls rather average. Didn't taste the salty.

Absolutely basic room whose cleanliness left a lot to be desired. No kettle, no shutters, no air con. En suite barely big enough to use. Way out of town.

To flee ! We stayed in the "cottage" rather "cabin in the garden". We arrived on site: pigeon droppings and leaves all over the terrace, a sweep of the broom before the arrival of customers is welcome. Dirty room, badly not maintained: Cobwebs, dust, stained curtains, rusty shower column and so on. The layout of the room was made up of odds and ends patched together. "Room" damp and in which it was very cold (we had to put the heating on in June). We were so shocked that this type of "room" could be offered that we alerted Logis de France. After having expressed our dissatisfaction to the owners the same evening, the latter were obviously not present when we left. We invite you to move on.

Small quiet hotel, warm welcome, and absolutely exquisite restaurant table.

Very good stay! We were very well received. The manager was very attentive to us and our children. The family room is very good for a stay with children. The breakfast was very good with quality products and almost everything homemade! The hotel is 5 minutes from the center of houlgate and the beach.

Hello, we usually go to this hotel but this time we were in a small room with a ridiculous dilapidated bathroom, on the other hand in the room there is a lack of sockets to connect the pc....j I expressed my disappointment to the manager of the hotel, the room is not up to the price.

We only took advantage of the hotel for one night and we were alone, because it was the end of the season (11/11/2022). We were well received by this young couple who took over this establishment in a difficult period. Thanks and good luck .

Old hotel, clean but requires modernization and refurbishment to be carried out by professionals and not by handymen. Disappointed!

Very clean, very welcoming and attentive staff On the other hand, an electric kettle in the chalet would be appreciable. A coffee made with a percolator for lunch would in my opinion be better than the espresso coffee a little too strong for us for lunch

Quiet hotel in the countryside set back from the fauna of the seaside. All that was missing was a wall support for the shower head in order to transform the bathtub into a real comfortable shower. Other than that little detail, everything was fine.

Alright. The welcome is very pleasant and the hotel very well kept. The food is of very good quality. We had a great time and will be back.

Room for 2 adults and 2 children (2 large beds) Spacious and quiet room. It would be necessary to plan to replace the carpet (damaged and stained) as well as to review the locations of the electrical outlets. Varied breakfast in a friendly setting (the price of 14e per adult is still quite high)

Chambre quadruple facturée 170 € pour 2 sans petit déjeuner. Pas de salle de bain comme annoncée dans la présentation mais une simple douche et un lavabo dans les toilettes. Pour ce prix là devoir se laver les dents assis sur les WC, c'est vraiment de l'abus ! Remise de 25 € après réclamation accordée de très mauvaise grâce. En outre, wifi non communiqué, aucune déco, vis aux murs, moquette tachée et emplacement sans intérêt. Passez votre chemin !

Quiet and comfortable hotel, very friendly welcome, access to the city center in 20 minutes on foot.

Charming little corner of Normandy. When you arrive you will be made very welcome and the place is very pretty. The rooms are clean, small problem with the bathroom shower which would surely need a refresh and the Wifi is not easily accessible from the outside and from the chalet. The restaurant is of very high quality and we recommend the 5-course menu. Very surprising and very tasteful, its value for money and remarkable. In a few words we can only recommend this accommodation. We have tried several in the region and this one is at the top of the table with the proposed offer.

Les Aulnettes is a very pleasant and very relaxing place, in a quiet location, yet only 10 minutes by car from Houlgate and the beach.

A charming inn with a charming location. Very peaceful dining room. A DELICIOUS and original meal with a superb presentation. Charming and efficient team. Only downside was the dilapidation of the room but after such a good meal we sleep well anyway!

Relaxed freindly hotel with excellent restaurant

The bathroom is really too small. The shower is cramped as well as the sink. Lack of space to put the medium-sized travel suitcase. Really a shame because this hotel has assets to exploit.

We stayed in a small room, no possibility to put our suitcase, nor the necessary toiletries in the bathroom. Shower in the bath, no possibility to take a shower standing up. A tiny bed! It looked like a dorm room. Too bad because the place is nice.

Difficulty getting into the shower, with my knee prosthesis problem. Otherwise, everything was fine.

The restaurant is great

The room is small, bathroom is very small, sloping roof makes it not easy to shower. No information about wifi, also couldn't find a connection.
