Grossartige Gastronomie, sehr freundlich, tolle ruhige Lage. Das Haus und Ambiente ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber gepflegt
The hotel room was fine. However, the dinner ruined our stay. It was also far too expensive for what was offered. The wait from the first course to the second course was over an hour. The service was anything but polite. We can recommend the hotel, but not the restaurant.
The quality of the catering dishes is fantastic to discover
It seemed as though the garden and the surrounding area were being neglected, and in the restaurant the plates were too small and there were no side dishes such as rice, pasta or potatoes, which is completely unacceptable for us.
Luxury hotel in a superb setting. Contrary to Google maps, a 10 minute downhill walk on residential roads to the local restaurants and Swiss border is possible. Our superior room with balcony on the first floor was large, comfortable and quiet and with a separate sitting room and fantastic views. It was too cold to enjoy the pool! Excellent well equipped modern bathroom. It was a shame there wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in teh room to enjoy a hot drink on the balcony! Food in the restaurant is Michelin class and excellent (we'd definitely recommend the cheese chariot!) with breakfast being expensive but of commensurate choice and quality.
