Restaurant Taillard

We stayed there twice within two months. The welcome and service from the owner personally, as well as his staff, were very polite and attentive. The food was excellent. The pool is also a great feature. The double bed in the room could be a bit larger (160 cm). Unfortunately, the rooms don't have air conditioning, so you should keep the window open when it's warmer. It's relatively quiet at night. However, there is some traffic noise from the nearby road starting in the morning. Nevertheless, it's a great place. We will definitely come back.

Perfect, beautiful and peaceful setting

Schönes Hotel. Leider konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen, da es zu kalt war und deswegen die Anlage noch außer Betrieb war. Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Der Empfang, sowie das Personal (inkl. Chef), waren außerordentlich höflich und professionell. Gutes Frühstück. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Abendessen. Sehr schön angerichtet und ausgezeichnet im Geschmack. Für mich eine Sterneküche. Absolut empfehlenswert. Auch eine grandiose Auswahl an Weinen. Toll! Beim Essen stimmt der Preis absolut. Für das Zimmer etwas zu hoch angesetzt, da das Frühstück noch obendrauf kommt. Dafür wird man aber mit einer tollen Lage und Ruhe belohnt. Kleiner Kritikpunkt für den Sommer. So viel ich gesehen habe, gibt es keine Klima. Schade.

The hotel room was fine. However, the dinner ruined our stay. It was also far too expensive for what was offered. The wait from the first course to the second course was over an hour. The service was anything but polite. We can recommend the hotel, but not the restaurant.
