EXCELLENT CUISINE, IMPECCABLE SERVICE AND WELCOME

Overall was just fine for us, cycling. Handy reasonably secure shed for bikes. My room was small with just a shower- my friend had a much bigger room with a bath and shower- but all very clean.
Would have been helpful if we had known prior rhat restaurant reservations were required- apparently it is very good but was full the evening we were there. Lots of other places to eat nearby. Breakfast- needed to book when checking in. But a lovely cafe bar just across the square which was happy to allow croissants to be brought in- and a great boulangerie a few doors away!
Reception coild have been a bit friendlier, but we also could have spoken better French, so perfectly pleasant stay and would recommend.

Good location, good food and friendly staff.

Charming hotel, great for a quiet stay en route. Excellent kitchen! We had a superb vegetarian menu. Good value for money also.

The reception from the manager was not very pleasant. The room was very old-fashioned.

The room are little noisy due to Sound proofing between the rooms, but the place is very quiet.
The only thing that could be improved is the shower cabin, compare to the great quality/ price of this Hotel.

For a 2 star, we were really surprised.

Rated 2 stars, the rooms are certainly a little dated but spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. On the other hand, a 3-star plus! For the quality of the food. And an extra star for the helpfulness of the staff, especially the two waitresses whose smiles and customer service are a highlight. Thank you, this is becoming a rare commodity, so it must be emphasized. Bravo again to the entire team. I recommend this establishment, especially for its must-visit restaurant.

Rooms rather simple but adequate, restaurant very good.

An unfriendly 'welcome'. We did not eat in the hotel as, unusually for Logis, our dog was not allowed in the dining room. To be fair, we knew this from the website. The room was adequate but the SMELL! The whole hotel and, particularly, our room STANK of drains. We won't be coming back here. We will return to the Come Inn just down the road where we normally stay, but they were closed for the holidays.

The reception and dining room were nice, as was the food. But, the rooms were very dated with very old fixtures and the bathroom was from the 1970's with a plastic caravan shower cubicle!! The room was also very small with barely walking space around the bed. All the neighboring rooms creaked with noise going on past 11pm.

We have eaten here before and know what the food is like which is why we stayed again. The evening meal was absolutely superb. We were staying 'demi pension' so had a slightly limited menu. However, there was still plenty of choice and the food is excellent.

The manager & staff helped us so much as we both have reduced mobility. Unfortunately I forgot, on booking, to state that fact. When we arrived we realised we had to walk up to the second floor, it was rather daunting. But, we managed it with help. Thank you to all.

The gentleman on reception spoke English for our check-in, which was good as our French is poor. That was the best thing about our stay. The room was very dated and the bed so uncomfortable we had to sleep on top of the duvet to stop the springs from digging in. We stayed in room 106 and it was an unpleasant night. The pillow was good. As the room is so dated it is difficult for the cleaners to do their job. Shame. This is actually the second Logis hotel we have stayed in this trip and that was dated too. Sorry will avoid Logis hotels inthe further.

The room smelled musty, there was mold on the wardrobe and damp patches on the walls.

The room was a bit tired. A kettle - but no easily accessible points to plug it in. The shower tray didn't drain very well.

Very nice location with a lovely outdoor area, well-equipped rooms and very attractive dining rooms. Great menus. Normal French breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was already fully booked as we didn't arrive until 7:30 p.m. due to a car breakdown. We would have loved to visit the restaurant.

The hotel and the room were in good condition, very clean, with comfortable beds. The service was very good! And the highlight was the unbelievably excellent dinner in the restaurant. We're still raving about it. No one should miss it.

Hotel accommodations is good and very clean without being luxurious, while the catering is a cut above anything we have eaten at a Logis previously.
In fact our evening meal was outstanding in quality and was reasonably priced.

Fabulous breakfast.
Shed for our bikes to be kept safely.
Only negative: why use paper cups in the bedroom?
Atmosphere rather lacking generally and rooms a little dated but very comfortable.
Shower far too small - in the eaves - so had to have a bath.

Restaurant excellent. Breakfast good. But: Room below par. Noisy, bad mattresses, showering in the bath without the option to hang a shower. Little response to our comments.

Our sixth visit to this hotel but the first since a change of proprietor. We always come here for the wonderful meal, and we weren’t disappointed this time either. . The meal was excellent, very raffiné, and incredible value for money. The courgette and trout gateaux was so delicious.

We chose this step on two important criteria for us: the quality of the restaurant and the flair that animals were allowed. But we were disappointed to learn that we couldn't take our adorable pinscher to the restaurant...this wasn't mentioned anywhere when booking. The customer should be informed before finalizing the reservation.

The hotel’s rooms are adequate with a reasonable en-suite facility and it was impeccably clean. The highlight was the fantastic evening meal in the hotel’s restaurant which was the best we have ever had in aFrench hotel.

Small room, but perfect for one person. Impeccably clean. Buffet breakfast: value for money, very good. As for the restaurant's cuisine, it is excellent. It's not very cheap, but the asking price is well worth it. It is better to make a reservation to get a table. This Friday evening, the restaurant was full.

Unfriendly receptionist. Restaurant not available although half full and we were in good time. No HOT water following morning; thus no shower! Hotel manager stated this was a general problem i.e. not only this hotel?? In our view impossible! The hotel manager insisted on full payment, which we did under protest. We feel that we are entitled to a substantial REFUND, so please advise.
PS. Not even a cup of coffee was offered

The hotel was noisy, in particular the plumbing. The hotel closes at 10 in the evening so it is not possible to arrive later than that. I was told I could not have a cup of coffee without having a full breakfast. There was a kettle and sachets of coffee powder in the bedroom but no cup, so impossible to make it.

Nice hotel in the middle of the town. The rooms are small and a bit outdated. The beds sleep well and the shower is fine. However, the hotel is recommended because of its restaurant. We have had a really good meal there twice now for a reasonable price.

Parking was easy - just behind the hotel and plenty of space. The accommodation is rather dated, but fine for a one night stopover. There isn't a lift to the bedrooms, but we should have been aware of this if we had studied the hotel description (lesson learnt). The food was excellent - we had a really good dinner with efficient service and the best dessert of our 9 day holiday.

Rooms clean and comfortable, bathrooms could do with updating. Compliments to your chef at the hotel, our evening meal was excellent and good value. Will book here again.

Friendly hotel, however the room was very small, the bathroom had no shower (only bath with hand shower) and we couldn't stand upright everywhere in the bathroom due to the slooping roof under which the bathroom is located

Hotel und Restaurant muß man unbedingt trennen. Das Hotel bedarf einer gründlichen Renovierung. Es war sauber, sonst aber nichts. Im Gegensatz dazu das Restaurant. Allerbester Service, allerbeste Qualität der Speisen und Getränke und ein sehr, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten ein 4-Gang-Menü zu 28 Euro, es war sehr lecker, very good.

We had a good night in a triple room prepared for two adults and two children. The room was comfortable and clean.

Fantastic food in the restaurant and also the breakfast menu was very good! Very friendly and professional staff. On-site parking for motorcycles was very welcomed. Our room on the 2nd Floor was generally OK but there was clear visibility of black mould on ceiling and walls near the windows, in the bedroom as well as in the en-suite. Shower cubicle was spacious and worked well. Toilet seat was broken and lose unfortunately.
Outside seating areas were very inviting but very disappointingly there was no bar service and also no option to eat outside.
This seams a very short-sighted approach from the management.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend the restaurant.

Hello, The hotel only informed that our animal is no longer accepted from August 1st, while the site indicated the opposite. We had to fulfill the obligation. The dinner was of good quality and the quality of the accommodation was satisfactory. Sincerely

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel and especially by its restaurant worthy of a starred chef.

This is an excellent stop over for us. We have used it twice already and intend to make it our place to stop on the way to the Loire. Rooms are slightly dated but clean and comfy but the main reason we stop here is for the excellent food.

I was greeted by an unsmiling man bordering on friendliness. I avoided his contact by having dinner elsewhere. Ditto breakfast. The toilet in the room filled with limestone, the shower head leaks and the bathroom mirror fixed with strings. I have never seen this.

Wonderful hotel and restaurant and especially accommodating my daughters special dietary requirements beautifully. Chapeau!

Nice hotel, a good manager, a good service team, good food, rooms of average standard but clean and efficient, a quiet and relaxing stay. I'll be back. The only small remark that I can make is the lack of knowledge of the wine serving temperature (as in many places in France unfortunately). No, we don't drink red wines at 22 degrees, the room temperature that day.

Ideal stopover on the road to Normandy or Brittany. Very high quality meals. Friendly staff We stop here almost every year.

Good food but the room was a disaster

The garden and restaurant were superb. The evening meal was very good and breakfast was perfect. The only disappointment was the bedroom. It was minute and the bathroom (which was inches from the bed) was cramped..

No bar - we had to have a drink on the high street
No shower other than hand-held impossible for my husband who is partially disabled
Bath panel incredibly tatty
Glass shelf above the basin dangerous as hanging on by a thread
No meals served outside in the courtyard despite it being 30degrees
