This hotel is excellent. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Especially the lady on the reception and the waitress in the restaurant. Very clean. Excellent food in the a La carte menu ( we didn’t try half board), and breakfast was good. We had our labradoodle with us and she was made welcome too. Everything was excellent and we would return.

Et surtout raison pour laquelle je ne reviendrai pas c'est que l'intégralité du prix du séjour est exigé dès l'arrivée. Certes j'avais été prévenue par mail mais sans y faire trop attention. J'ai même des doutes quant à la légalité de cette disposition...

Chambre agréable avec tout le nécessaire

Il me semble que pour un trois étoiles il serait bien d'avoir de quoi faire un café dans la chambre, de même il manque un petit frigo dans la chambre et enfin le papier toilette est pas plus épais qu'une feuille de papier cigarette.

Un accueil chaleureux et très attentionné, un dîner gourmand, un lieu très agréable et une nuit silencieuse suivi d’un matin calme.

A fantastic hotel in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of the green lush forest. Very welcoming and extremely friendly staff! The lady at the reception did a great job finding a doctor for my husband. Good breakfast and great bed. We will come again.

Super hôtel proche de la plage tout en etant dans un znvironnement tres calme.
L'équipe a été très accueillante et souriante.
Nous avons pu garer nos vélos dans un local fermant à clé et avec prise pour recharger nos batteries. La chambre était spacieuse et propre.

Merci à tout le personnel qui a été super et surtout ne pas oublier le chef de cuisine qui nous a réveillé les papilles et joué avec lès saveurs et les couleurs nous garderons un excellent souvenir du logis les Vagues.

Hôtel propre mais trop cher en rapport qualité prix. L’accueil est décevant. Hôtel aseptisé avec une décoration basique et fade. Le wifi est très médiocre. Même pas de bouteilles d’eau d’accueil dans la chambre. Demande de second paiement de 522€ obligatoire malgré un montant de réservation identique sur la carte de crédit. Tjs pas remboursé après 1 semaine malgré plusieurs rappels… La literie est de bonne qualité.

Well located, this hotel was appreciated for its pleasant staff. However, for a one-week stay the room lacks storage and is a little more spacious, it does not have a refrigerator which would have been appreciated during this summer period. It is time to replace the furniture on the terrace, the chairs of which are threatening to fall apart... and the tables whose tops are no longer very presentable. The restaurant offers very good and varied gastronomic menus.

The services conform to the description on the hotel website, so no surprises.

We have been going back there for 4 years with as much satisfaction as ever.

Well located and quiet hotel. We had a room on the ground floor. The glazed entrance door leads directly into the bedroom, which is not very large, which does not allow ventilation, except by pulling a curtain for privacy. The superb bathroom has no ventilation or ventilation that does not work.

In our suite there were unfortunately not enough cupboards/shelves/drawers to store the belongings of 4 people staying for 1 week, the "child's" room was completely devoid of them. The quality of bedding is average. The reception and restaurant staff are top notch! The location is perfect, quiet and close to the north beach, 10 minutes walk from the center. We ate there half board.

Well located hotel, 10min. Walk to the beach, very nice and competent service and reception. Very clean and well maintained. Food is very tasty, there is a menu with fresh ingredients if needed there are alternatives if you don't like the menu. Breakfast is kept simple but important to us with fresh buttery croissants, pain au chocolat and crunchy baguette, fresh orange juice and much more. Thank you for the nice relaxing time!

Overall the stay went well. With some reservations: we had wanted a room with 2 separate beds, the only one available was on the ground floor, with foliage in front of the window, so very dark. 4 nights. Summary vacuuming, grains of sand underfoot. No kettle in the room. No deckchairs in the garden although this had been mentioned on the phone. Varied meals with possibility of change. GOOD. But average quality meat (not very tender), butchery supplier problem?

Overall, it was a very successful experience! THANKS ! Simple and good food every evening. Nice breakfast in the mornings. Nice and discreet staff. Two very small drawbacks: bedroom on the floor without a window (just a French window) and bottle of craft beer stolen from our room… :(

Too bad that when you come to the hotel you feel a certain tension, a lack of enthusiasm in the way of proceeding. Advance payment, immediate there or everywhere else the generality is to settle the day of departure. In the pension menu, pay attention to the quality of the desserts (the blueberry pie is not great) especially since in the offer it is specified "Each day a different menu alternating meat and fish, a choice of 3 starters, 3 dishes and 3 desserts." when in the end there is only one choice!

An absolutely nice place for a short or even better a longer stay. All staff is very friendly and at help any time needed. We had a room with a little terrace to the garden and just felt like home. The food in the restaurant is marvelous and the breakfast has everything you need for a perfect start into the day. Beach and restaurants are 5-10 minutes walk and the location is in a very nice and quiet environment.

It is a pity that there is a lift for the visually impaired. The problem was reported when booking. A room on the 2 * floor had been assigned to us! For 25 € the meal, it is unfortunate not to have at least 2 choices. The fish of the day is found the next day. A better preparation of the dishes would be appreciable.

We have never slept so badly, the bedding was disastrous, no flat sheet. 108€ per night, for in the end August has only one desire in the morning, to finally go home to sleep. Nobody at the reception at 9:30 a.m. to share our disappointment.

A few minor drawbacks regarding the impossible wifi connection, and the basin in room 301 not very practical for washing your hands… Small suggestion: a drink dispenser would not be refused. Hotel extremely well located adding a big plus. Clean and very charming room. Small negative point for the somewhat "soft" bedding. The presence of air conditioning is ideal. The breakfast was perfect, choice and good products offered, in a calm and very pretty setting. Very positive point on the quality of the reception and the members of the staff all very pleasant, smiling and concerned during the entire stay.

Perfect welcome. Bed not firm enough for me. No coffee making facilities in the room. Restoration "very average", I do not recommend it. However breakfast, simple but with very good homemade jams and squeezed fruit.

Satisfied with the welcome, the overall cleanliness and the quiet location. Nevertheless, a regret that the price of breakfast is expensive. Indeed, we are not used to this being a meal in itself and therefore paying 12.5€ for a coffee, a fruit juice and 2 croissants is exaggerated. Recently in Arcachon, in a hotel of very good standing, the DPJ had 2 prices according to its importance: 7 and 12 €. We found this formula excellent.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, but cleanliness to be desired. I found remnants from previous guests like makeup cleaning cotton under the bed, they clean well. I had to ask for towels because the ones we used were just folded and left wet in the bathroom. They do not have decaf coffee at breakfast, scrambled eggs, very basic. And what to say about the orange juice machine, one does it myself but it is very abrupt. Anyway... correct hotel, very basic. The heating was not working well. There is no orientation in Spanish, everything got wet when using the sink, with a simple hand washing.

While the welcome and the staff are very good, the rooms are small and badly designed, the restaurant which is only served in the evening is not worthy of a Logis. Sounds like "frozen". The quality ranging from inedible meat to a very good dessert, for example. So we will not return to this establishment. A strange point also: it was necessary to pay the whole of the stay before the provision of the room...!

We had booked a week half board in a standard room with window. We were placed in a room under the roof with a skylight, 20% of the surface of which is inaccessible given the configuration. For 2 days it could pass but not for a week. A window allows you to be able to affix it and relax by taking the fresh air not a skylight. The meals lack originality and flavor, especially in terms of certain frozen desserts found at wholesale catering brands, which I unfortunately usually eat in basic restaurants. What can be said about the poor quality of a pineapple carpaccio would have deserved support We expected more from a classy Logis de France establishment with a tasty cuisine presentation where the standards of lodgings and good food are disappearing in favor of turnover. Shave really very well!!

We thought this hotel was very poor value for money and was in a poor state of repair. The food in the restaurant was variable, and the starter included some ingredients with a disagreeable smell that were clearly ‘off’ and unpalatable. The hotel was clean and the reception staff very pleasant and helpful, but the hotel overall was tired and extremely poor value for money.

250 meters from the ocean where you can walk, in a residential area far from the noise and in the middle of the pine forest, we were once again able to appreciate this hotel restaurant which lacks nothing. A nice hotel with nice rooms, but too expensive, with totally insufficient wifi and also a bit far from the center, especially if you don't want to eat in the hotel. The restaurant was the worst experience ever at a Logis hotel, at least on the day we ate there.

We chose this hotel for a 5 night half board stay. The reception was simple and friendly by a team attentive to our requests. A big thank you to the chef who was able to offer vegetarian dishes when these are not part of the half-board. We enjoyed our stay for its location allowing you to walk to the city center, its breakfast, its dinner and its team.

Delighted for this WE in this hotel that we discovered thanks to the internet. Arriving quite late for dinner, we were pleasantly welcomed both at reception and in the dining room (staff AND rationed!). Very satisfied with the dishes offered for dinner (with change in case of allergy problems) and for the "night" part, pleasant room with small terrace and view of the ocean on the horizon. We advise but...not too much, because we risk not having room for a future stay !!!

It was a very nice stay! We have two suggestions for improvement: A small refrigerator would be practical. Since you could advertise the mini golf course, you could see that it is maintained again. The beds were a bit too soft for us.

As indicated elsewhere, I regret the presence of large dogs in the dining room. As their masters are proud of, these critters skirt through the passage with impunity. The hotel staff is smiling, available and pleasant. The rooms are comfortable, carefully decorated and well appointed. Toilets outside the bathroom, very appreciable. The breakfast is exceptional. There is everything and it is of very good quality. (The only disappointment was to find, among all the good products, honey from the supermarket. It would be even more worthwhile to offer local honey but that does not take away from the pleasure of having breakfast in this establishment) . Its location is ideal, a few steps from the ocean, restaurants and shops of Biscarrosse-Plage. We put the car down and don't touch it. Parking available. A very good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lamb was very dry and salty and swimming in oil along with the vegetables, I’m afraid it was not good
The fish dish was piled high with chopped up vegetables, lemon and grapefruit, not good also

Je ne vois pas en quoi une ratatouille puisse être une poêlée forestière. Surtout lorsqu'on demande au préalable si il y aura beaucoup de champignons et qu'après consultation en cuisine on vous répond oui. Or, aucun champignon servi ! Mise en bouche annoncée non servie. Et le menu de la demi pension très pauvre !!

Nous avons passé une nuit très bien accueillie mais après ça c’est compliqué la Clim et le chauffage ne marchait pas la gentille demoiselle de l’accueil est venue voir mais non impossible de la faire fonctionner, ensuite la porte ne fermait pas à clé de l’intérieur, le soir on a voulu se Connect en wifi gratuit d’ailleurs mais seulement on nous demande toutes nos coordonnées ce que nous avons refusé’ alors on s’est dit que nous allions regarder Netflix mais pas de chance impossible de se connecter les oreillers étaient très petit et tout mou pour la literie ça allait nous sommes aller au restaurant de l’hôtel très bien reçu on nous demande de choir les vins ce que nous faisons puis l’apéritif et ensuite sans rien demander on nous amène une entrée on était très étonné mais on s’est dit c’est peut être un amuse bouche, puis on nous apporte un plat très intriguée mais femme demande et nous répond que nous sommes en demi pension et que c’était le plat du jour mais ce n’était pas du tout le cas donc on a continué par le dessert et par contre au moment de payer à ce moment le ils ont bien vérifié que nous n’étions pas en demie-pension et on nous a fait payer un repas très succinct 23€ !

Franchement je suis de Bordeaux et mon chéri habite Biscarosse mais j’aime prendre une chambre d’hôtel avec lui de temps en temps, je les ai tous fait sauf le petit Landais, et je peux dire que votre hôtel vient tout de suite après le Grand hôtel où j’ai déjà séjourné plusieurs fois. Évidemment je ne compare pas vu les prestations du grand hôtel, (la vue surtout, piscine à débordement etc. Mais le tarif va avec), donc je recommande sans problème votre hôtel et votre accueil et celui des employées du petit déjeuner 👍je voulais d’ailleurs y revenir en novembre mais tout est complet, je me suis rabattue sur Les jardins de l’océan qui est « moins bien »mais où l’accueil y est super aussi ! Alors à une prochaine fois.
