Correct, but pay attention to the details: - The fries were swimming in oil - a little smile, gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen 😜
The welcome is friendly but the hotel is a little shabby and the smell in the corridors is slightly unpleasant. It's a shame the restaurant was closed but I'm told that the Brasserie du Bac was recommended for dinner and was great.
Let's get the negative points out of the way right away: - the room decor is a bit dated, - the shower water pressure is very low (on the 2nd floor). Apart from that, the GUILBAUD room is spacious enough (with a very nice view of the Seine), well equipped with its desk area to work in good conditions. As for the food, the overnight stay offers a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts. The plates are well presented, the products are quality and well prepared. As for breakfast, there is less choice than in other lodgings but still, sweet and savory are offered. I would have preferred a different bread than white bread (wholemeal bread, cereals) but there is enough to have a perfectly decent breakfast. Last but not least, the welcome and the service: faultless! The welcome by a person who, I assume, is the owner of the establishment is pleasant: courteous and very friendly. The service in the dining room is provided by a very friendly and dynamic person. To top it all off, the hotel is very well located and parking is easy. I will definitely keep this address for a future visit to the region.
Decor to improve and change the carpet
Large room with a view of the Seine. Separate toilet. The restaurant is very useful and very good. The service is impeccable.
Very warm welcome but very poor hotel services. Very old-fashioned room, shower "cabin" needs to be redone (not even a place to put shower gel, one hot water tap, one cold water tap, old-fashioned). No electrical outlet near the bed. When I arrived in the room, everything was in darkness, shutters closed (there was no strong heat), not very welcoming. Dinner only offered between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., which is very short, especially in summer. Fortunately, I was kindly offered a good meal tray in my room a little later.
Top staff, top catering, carpet decoration, walls to be reviewed
The hotel is in much need of decoration but everything in the bedroom worked and was clean . We were given a warm welcome in the hotel and in the dining room. We had an excellent dinner and a good breakfast.
Small hotel a bit old, but what would its price be otherwise? Very friendly welcome. The room and its view of the Seine were perfect but... in summer without air conditioning, sleeping with the window open is not very relaxing. A small private parking lot at the back. One regret, however: the smell that reigns in the kitchen reception! The owners know their city and are very friendly.
Stayed on the 3rd floor, beautiful view of the Seine. Very strenuous stairs. Too bad the restaurant was closed that day.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which we would have gladly extended if we could have: spacious room with a view of the Seine, very dedicated and pleasant staff, and an excellent dinner. Thank you!
Good for a stopover evening
a pleasant stay and a very warm welcome. Too bad there were these problems in the bathroom (shower door that comes undone when you pull it and the water leak problems at the shower. But good stay anyway.
The owner couple is very nice, family and relaxed atmosphere. The meals are varied in the evening stopover and change every day. Magnificent setting on the banks of the Seine and easy to find a place to park.

Stayed for one night with my daughter. Arrived at Dieppe, and Caudebec is about one hour from Dieppe so a good location to stay before going onwards in France. Room overlooking the River Seine which is very attractive. Excellent evening meal.

Er was not ready for us to stay at the hotel aankwamen. Op deur stond dat ze om 17:00 uur open zouden zijn, dus zijn we dat ze om om 17:00 ur open zouden zijn, du zijn we maar even wat gaan dranken en horp. Om 17:15 uur was er nog niemand. We have already visited the hotel in the future. Bleek dat we via een code achterom binnen konden komen en eleven sleutel lag klaar bij de receptie. The restaurant, where it was located, was taken into account and we had the same food as before. No volgende ochtend bij het ontbijt was er iemand. Heel vreemd om helemaal alleen zo in een hotel te zijn. Kamer zelf was volgens verwachting en mooi uitzicht op de Seine. Ontbijt was prima.

In its original condition. Worn carpets to be changed. Painting and wallpaper in the bedroom and common areas to be refreshed. Perfect location and pleasant staff. Overpriced.

Easy to find, very good location, room with balcony and great view of the Seine and thank you for my dog who was able to enjoy the balcony. Warm and friendly welcome. A good 2 star. The decor remains old, even in its original state, but that is really just a detail. For breakfast, on the other hand, a little light on the salty side, dry sausage and salami. Just two pieces of bread. I was expecting a little more for €10, scrambled eggs and mini hot sausages. I'm not one to waste, but I like having the pleasure of helping myself to what I need for breakfast. I like, at a minimum, two kinds of bread, white and cereal for example, and to be cut on site by the resident. Breakfast by the bay window to look out over the Seine, that's great. I wish the team a very happy and successful 2024 season.
