Room was spacious, plenty plug points, beds comfortable, shower room very good. The hotel is set in lovely grounds.

Very clean and pleasant room. Very good evening meal. Small menu but sought after meal. Small flat for breakfast or the quality of the bread (thawed?) was average. ..but overall was very good.

This was our second stay and even better than our first. It is a quiet and peaceful hotel with friendly staff, great food, wine and service - and plenty of off road parking.

Good stopover, very pleasant dinner, à la carte because no menu. Correct and functional room.

Renewed hotel, in a quiet location

An idyllic location, a warm welcome, very high-level cuisine and excellent local products to buy at the shop. An address to keep in the small privileged papers. A very nice experience that we will not fail to repeat when we are passing through. Thank you really !

A place where life is good, a moment of relaxation away from everything and the staff at your service. The meal / breakfast were above my expectations, tasty, creamy, fine. Breakfast more than provided with local jams. Good little moment, a place where you have to stop!

Excellent value for money and full of french charm.

Nice hotel, friendly welcome and quiet area. Just a pity that the restaurant is closed on Sundays, which we were told shortly in advance by email. Booked a hotel to use the restaurant.

We had a very pleasant stay. The dinner was very good and our 4-year old enjoyed himself in the garden. I would really recommend this hotel for a stop on the road.

Hotel setting and ambience were lovely and so were the grounds. The room and breakfast were good. We didn't enjoy the evening food particularly, it was more style over flavour and as there was no set menu and so the meal became very expensive for something that did not reflect the price. There were no alternatives offered on the children's menu. When we asked for an alternative pudding such as ice cream as our son did not like milkshake, we were told there was no ice cream. An alternative was given which was fine however when our desserts arrived there was ice cream on our plates!

The chef had a bad day.
The starter with le fraicheur de tomates , amandes fraîches , cremieux burrata et huile de chanune.
Was to small , the burrata was flying over the quarter mato.
The plate Mignon de porc en déclinaisons de choux
Was un eatable because it was rinsing salt.
Because of that I hardly ate it.
The lady serving me,took the plate away not interested
why I didn’t eat it.
The chef can be sacked!

Quiet stay

This is a delightful hotel with an excellent manager and attentive staff. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The evening meal was delicious and the choice of menu good. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a range of fruits, breads, cereals and cheeses - all we needed before setting off. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa des Bordes and would love to come back!

great restaurant

The room is a bit small but nice. The catering is at the top and the welcome very friendly. The gravel in the parking lot does not allow you to roll your suitcase. Just in case or like me, you carry your business for the week and your office (computer, files...). The environment of the villa is superb.

Fabulous food - not cheap but superb and worth the money. Beautiful setting for the hotel. Very efficiently run and would recommend. Will return if passing this way again.
We use "Logis Hotels" because the quality of food is generally high or very high - the rooms tend to be quaint, old style French rather than plush and modern which suits us.

Reception OK, but not very warm.
Restaurant tries to be fancy, but in the end does not deliver. Looks nice but does not taste very well. Indifferent service.
Room somewhat rickety, way overpriced. Beds were OK.

Great hotel, loved our diner and breakfast! The hotel is beautiful , it only is a bit noisy.

Villa des Bordes is a villa of character. The rooms are good but not up to standerds of a new hotel.
Reception is very friendly and rooms are clean. The restaurant is exellent and so is the breakfast.
All this for a very reasonable price.

N avons pas pu manger en arrivant après 10h de route alors que la terrasse était pleine , ns ont proposé un sandwich !!!!

Gentillesse des hôtes et dîner particulièrement savoureux ont fait de cette étape un excellent moment.

Mooi hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Dit is de tweede keer dat wij hier verblijven. Dit keer met 2 kinderen. We hadden een ruime kamer met 4 bedden en prima badkamer.
Het eten voor de volwassenen was echt heel goed, maar het menu voor de kinderen kon eigenlijk niet. Beetje flauwe sla met bevroren tomaat vooraf en het kleinste stukje vlees dat ik ooit heb gezien. Een amuse is groter.
Maar ontbijt was weer prima. Dus al met al een aanrader, en als je kinderen iets ouder zijn met de gewone kaart laten meegenieten.
