Made very welcome and the food was excellent- and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Highly recommended and will visit again as a handy way of breaking our journey from Calais to SW France.

As soon as we entered the hotel we immediately felt at home. We received a very warm welcome, the food was very good and of course the room too. If we are in the area again, we would choose this hotel again in a heartbeat.

The room was very pleasant, we slept well in the comfortable bed and the shower was very good too.. Good breakfast, but let down by disappointing machine coffee.

It’s a bit far out of town, but the friendliness of the team makes up for it. Dinner and breakfast is fantastic. There are shops in walking distance.

The booking confirmation of the house itself was very friendly, as was the reception and the service at dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was very good. From the window I could see a young cook gathering fresh herbs and flowers in the garden for dinner. This increased the anticipation, which was not disappointed. I chose the menu with the matching wines, which were served at the table with the presentation of the bottle. Class!

This was our second stay at this exceptional hotel. It has a great location, within easy driving distance of many chateaux and other places of interest. The hotel was well run, with friendly staff. Dinner was excellent, with daily variation in the menu.

Ideal base for exploring the Loire Castles. Friendly and easy going staff; spacious room, clean, practically furnished, with comfortable beds. Well balanced menu at a reasonable price/performance ratio.

Hotel with closed parking, ideal in transit with all the luggage in the car. Nice large room with terrace and large walk-in shower. But highly recommended is dinner. Very tasty and fresh for 31 euros. Top

Excellent stay at the Hotel des Chateaux. They were very busy, but nevertheless we were made to feel especial and were looked after beautifully.

The hotel was fine, the bedrooms were small (but the size advertised!), clean, very comfortable bed with quality bed linen. Good shower & effective air con. Staff were superb. Unfortunately the breakfast let you down with poor pastries & low quality juice. Location is not your fault, but we were disappointed to find how far we were from the center of town

Wonderful welcome from staff and room was perfect for our requirements. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, with good choices of both food and wine. Our only concerns: pillows too soft and bath tub a bit slippery when showering. But in general a top experience as an overnight stay.

One of our favourite hotels, big room and very nice bathroom, the shower was superb! this is the third or fourth time we have stayed here and we will be back. Great parking, and easy to get to the hotel, our room was on the ground floor, so that too was a plus point.

Hotel is outside the village not within walking distance. Room acceptable for the charge. Dissapointed in the Dinner on the second night our food was served cold. Not what we expected from a gourmand restaurant.

A perfect night stop but allow time to go to the Chateau. Good standard of accommodation and the room had a bath! The quality of food in the restaurant was superb.

If you are passing through the region, do not look for another establishment, this one is really on top in every way.

Hotel better than we expected with refurbishments going on. The hosts were very friendly and made us very welcome.. The dinner was a highlight with delicious food beautifully served and the breakfast was very good and plentiful too. We will definitely return again if in France.

Very good reception, nice amenities. Only downside: in the bathroom: bath and not shower, so can be difficult to access, should therefore have a grab bar to avoid slipping especially for less "skilled" people.

Pleasant stay, available and friendly team, comfortable and clean room, well equipped, a shower instead of the bathtub would be appreciated. The proximity of a roundabout is not great, but the set back terrace is ideal for a drink. Even if the dining room overlooks this roundabout, the quality of the food quickly makes us forget the environment. Beautiful presentation, fresh quality products, staff available, attentive. The possibility of recharging a vehicle is an undeniable plus (remember to book in advance) even if the price is a little high, €0.50 per kWh, for slow charging. The breakfast buffet is well presented, between sweet, savory and fresh eggs, everything is done to start the day off right. We definitely recommend this hotel.
