A restaurant that serves good mountain food in a good mood. A room for three that is a bit dated, with non-contractual photos from the website that promised more charm. Too many flaws that end up irritating (no stopper or aerator for the bathtub that drains with difficulty, flashing neon light, sliding closet doors that stick, kitchen ventilation that makes the room vibrate, one bedside table for three - normal because the room was originally supposed to be for two - no shutters. Missing a small welcome tray with kettle. Comfortable bedding but sheets a bit small. Friendly staff who nevertheless seem to care about problems.
Top But very limited breakfast, little choice
Very special experience! are we in Switzerland or in France? Doesn't matter, everything was ok
I didn't get a response to the 2 emails... The room doesn't look like the photos on booking; the photos show a very cute room, very cozy. But none of that! It's absolutely disappointing. The room is outdated, old, shabby. The radiator doesn't work (even though it's freezing outside!...), the hair dryer doesn't work. I called the day before if we could come earlier than 5pm (!), I was told that yes, we would just have to call the number at reception and they would come and open the door for us. But at 4pm, I called, no one came. At 5:15pm, she arrived. And not very welcoming for a Christmas on December 25th. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. I stayed 2 nights instead of the 3 planned. (I had the minimum with 3 nights). I stayed 2 nights because I was too disappointed. I was charged for 2 nights: Only thing correct….
Original hotel on the border. Simple rooms, but absolutely adequate. Good restaurant. Safe storage for a bicycle in the garage.
The originality was to sleep with my head in Switzerland and my feet in France, or, my partner in France and I, in the same bed in Switzerland. Sleeping with the window open = not possible (big traffic); the window closed, not possible > no air conditioning. A short training course in Belgium to learn how to make fries would be useful. Breakfast, not very nice. Women's lingerie found in the room.
