Very well placed to discover the city

Great establishment and great staff
Old hotel with character. Bedroom adequate and quiet. We enjoyed Wi-fi and the air conditioning. The food was very good but the service was poor. We waited a very long time to have a menu and then I had to ask for it. Same with bread! No bread offered, I had to ask for it! Service also was very slow and not just for us! We joked about it with the people next to us.
The view of the river was superb
The hotel rooms are upstairs (difficult spiral staircase) but there is a PRM room on the ground floor which was allocated to us.
Room on the 1st floor street side, very clean, large bathroom, very good bedding, only negative point the carpet in the room in one place is stained, having eaten lunch and dinner excellent meal, very good value for money considering certain prices in other hotel restaurants of the same type, very welcoming staff and concerned about the well-being of their customers

It's a shame that a customer friend of the chef (who didn't intervene) imposed himself on the restaurant on Saturday evening in a rude and disrespectful manner to the people who were dining in the room by showing I don't know what on his cell phone at high volume then constantly uttering very loudly throughout the evening racist, misogynistic, homophobic, etc. remarks that are unacceptable! Everyone, including the waiters, was very embarrassed

Very friendly and professional staff. The room was a good size as was the bathroom and very clean. The dinner menus we had were excellent.
All we need is a shelf in the bathroom to put our toiletries as well as a small refrigerator and a suitcase rack instead of a chair, a squeegee in the bathroom for the shower. Being disabled we sometimes need to use cold treatments (CH1). But to conclude, these are just suggestions! Excellent staff, very attentive to your needs, very good restaurant. In short, we really recommend it +++++ I forgot the pretty sunny terrace opposite the La Vézière Viaduct..... A little nod to Elo and his whole team!

The establishment is in its original state. Aging and does not at all reflect what appears on the LOGIS website. The restaurant's cuisine is OK but not at all appropriate for the price charged. There really is no elevator! Lots of small steps, "break in the eye": bedroom door, bathroom door. Very good dinner, too bad we don't change the cutlery after the starter! We even had to ask for fish cutlery! Also remember to add water to breakfast! Very pleasant staff.

Aging room, the carpet is worn, not heated when I arrived as well as in the common areas. There is work to be planned for an upgrade. The staff saves the furniture luckily they are there!!!

The weather was bad. So the current opinion would be a little influenced by the bad weather. This 3-star hotel does not have a reception on Fridays, which complicates our arrival. The organization of the rooms and the reception the next morning are not very good. But overall we had a quiet night. We thank the housekeeper who put a lot of effort into trying to provide the best service possible.

Hello, A small downside on arrival. on the documentation sent for our reservation it was noted 3:30 p.m. No one to welcome us. ; the hotel was closed and we were told that the hotel only opened at 6 p.m. The organization needs to be reviewed.
This establishment attracted my attention by its name and the old France appearance of its facade. Alas, as in many provincial inns there is only a trace of old France in the stone walls. Congratulations all the same to this new team for doing their best to try to maintain the spirit of tradition.

Passable for one night at this dated hotel that does not deserve its 3 stars. The bedroom and bathroom were clean but the shower needs to be redone. It's a plastic cabin that must have been white. The seals are dirty. In the corridors a foul smell like a dead mouse and it was not a smell of old or old, we know the difference, we spent a night in a guest room in a 15th century mansion.... At the restaurant, we are asked to arrive at 7:30 p.m. sharp and we are taken care of 1/2 hour later. We ate in the evening and slept in the hotel. Evening meal, we took the menu at 34e (not 32e as indicated on the internet) and a meal for the little one. Appetizers as a starter but apparently the child was not allowed... For the starter my partner found his salmon not very fresh, I had pressed oxtail (a kind of terrine), correct without being exceptional. As a dish, he had the fish, which was quite bland and there were still a few bones visible. And me the spare ribs, certainly good but too much salty soy sauce so much too salty. A piece of chilli was present in each dish, the waiter had apparently forgotten to warn us... experience all the more unpleasant as we had no more water (2 waiters passing by without checking this), for dessert I had strawberry shortbread, it was good. My partner had taken Bitter Dark Chocolate Pavé, Sweet Potato Coulis. As a comment on google said, a biscuit with a ganache on the side... quite disappointing. More than 2 hours to eat with quite long waiting times all the same. In the triple room we had, it was quite clean, functional but not a fan of the sloping floor and especially of the mirror hanging on the bathroom door which slams every time the door closes...(great for waking up the other 2 sleepers in the room at night) and the grout in the bottom of the shower which is starting to mold.

A fantastic find, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked diner for the evening and weren’t disappointed, the food was outstanding along with service. The chef came to the table and explained bout the local produce. We were even given home made rum after our meal. Overall everything was amazing.
