The welcome is very friendly and the breakfast is exceptional. I only put 4 stars for the quality of the accommodation because I would have liked to be warned that the room was duplex, which is not practical when you have to go to the toilet at night . For the service in the restaurant, I also put 4 stars because we waited a really long time before being served. A waitress had come to ask me if I wanted to finish my appetizer by eating the starter and I had answered yes. Despite this, we still waited a very long time. I guess we had been forgotten in the kitchen. However, the quality of the food made us smile.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Montreuil sur mer, close by various places of interest. From the moment we arrived to the day of departure, the level of service was friendly and exceptional. Our room was very well presented and the restaurant and different menus were beyond delicious. There was a comfortable bar and courtyard to sit and relax. Providing you book in advance, there is a parking area which is kept secure. I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for first class accomodation at a reasonable price

The stay was perfect but the menu deserves a wider price range.

We were on a cycling trip of France and Belgium and the town was on our list of beautiful places to vist. This hotel appealed to us more than the others mainly due to its history and the quality of the restaurant which was superb. We found the staff professional, friendly,courteous and extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

To find a hotel of this quality in a little town like Montreuil was a wonderful surprise. The building to start with is fascinating and beautifully adapted to be a modern hotel. The staff made us welcome and were helpful, apart from being too hot, our room was very comfortable and well appointed.
But the star of the show was the food which was exceptional. We had a truly delicious dinner, every course was delicious and a feast for the eyes as well, and breakfast was very varied and well presented.

For me personally I found the room very basic in decor, it lacked colour, the Bathroom was clean, but the floor got very wet as there is no shower door. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Restaurant was very nice and very professional...

We stayed at Hôtel les Hauts de Montreuil for both the first and last nights of our holiday. It was a perfect start and perfect end to the holiday. The hotel is located only 40 minutes from Calais in a lovely town. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food and wine were excellent.

wij werden helemaal naar de bovenverdieping gestuurd met een klein dakraampje.
ook is er geen lift voorzien dat kan voor sommige mensen problemen geven.
het ontbijt is wel heel erg goed, en steeds voldoende.

I had been told about the hotel and restaurant by a friend - she is the reason why I booked it! I would happily recommend the hotel to others.

We wanted an individual hotel about one hour south of Calais so that we could get an early start on our journey into France the following day. The restaurant was fully booked but the hotel recommended a nearly place and booked a table for us.

Fantastisch ontbijt. zeer ruime kamers, een aparte bureauhoek + bureellamp, koffie en frigo super.
Geen lift, doch niet erg, kamers waren op de 1ste verdiepong. Gezien de uitzonderlijke hittegolf (35°) gedurende mijn verblijf was een airco wel handig!

Had a fabulous couple of nights returning to Les Hauts after 27 years. It has change hugely but very much for the better. Staff were lovely. Dinner was amazing. Can’t wait to return - this time much sooner than 27 years.

Very friendly staff and good experience here. The room was nice enough for the price, no frills but comfortable big bed and bathroom was spacious. The fan in the room was so helpful given the weather as well. Dog friendly, good location near shops and restaurants, and quiet over night. Tesla electric car charger was very useful. We only spent one night, but we would come back again.

the room we were offered ( Room 3 ) was on the ground floor and not the luxury accommodation we had booked with Booking. Com.It did not contain the facilities described in our confirmation from Booking. Com.
The window catch was broken , the shower drain hole was mouldy and the room had clearly been occupied by a dog . The hotel receptionist was embarrassed by the situation and endeavoured - unsuccessfully - to find alternative accommodation in the area.
I had especially booked good quality accomodation for the last night of our holiday in France. In the event the room at this hotel was so poor that we decided to return to England overnight and arrived home at 5.00GMT. I am 75 and my husband is 80 ! Can you do anything to assist regarding compensation?We have previously stayed in Logis but have never experienced anything like this before.

Accommodation was as we expected but very disappointed with evening meal experience, which was reason for choosing this hotel. Not only was one meal extremely poor but to be told it was good was insulting. To be told dauphinois potatoes which were burnt were fine because the inside was ok was totally unsatisfactory..

Blue zone parking on the street. Nobody at the reception after 7 p.m., you have to go to the bar. Possibility to book an all-inclusive "STAGE" night with the evening meal I recommend the hotel for both business and leisure trips

Very welcoming hotel, with excellent food in the restaurant and for breakfast.
I only chose a basic room (no.20) which was fine. It was on the second floor in the eaves wit a double bed, shower and WC. TV had BBC News and BBC1 (Scotland!). Only two minor niggles were the lighting over the desk and clothes hanging area was poor, and the air conditioner was too noisy to use at night.
There is parking in a yard off the street directly behind the hotel which is secures with an electric gate.
Would certainly stay again but may choose an upgraded room.

Second stay in this very pleasant hotel where we take great care of the customers. The only downside: we had booked 3 standard rooms, two of which overlooked the back, with sloping ceilings, quiet and renovated. Ours, however, overlooked the street, which was very noisy, and the room, in this part, deserves a little freshening up. For the rest, everything was perfect, the restaurant and the breakfast are top notch, we were won over once again.

Nice hotel, very well located. The staff is very friendly. The room was very decent, clean and functional. The breakfast was excellent and there was something for everyone. We had a meal at the restaurant and the quality was there, beautiful products, well worked, we were well advised for the choice of wine to match our meal, the only small problem with the quantity (it is true that we are a not very greedy), the 3-course menu being a little light for our taste (must say that the walks, it digs...). In short, a great experience, don't hesitate!

We've staýed at les Hauts several times as it has been improved over the years - rooms, la Patio restaurant etc... With the advantage of a town well equipped with a variety of shops (including an excellent cheese shop and bio bakers), the 4km ramparts walk is superb. The only criticism is the tight entrance to the private parking!

We originally booked because of the reputation of the restaurant. Due to staff shortages it was closed the day we booked but they emailed to tell us and made us another booking. Reception staff speak excellent English and are very helpful.

Lovely hotel with every thing that you need. A very good sized room with good facilities. The restaurant is comfortable and great food. Breakfast is generous with everything that you could want.

Le "rappel à l'ordre" pour le port du masque au petit déjeuner devrait se faire avec plus de tact et de discrétion. Si non hôtel calme, confortable et bien situé. Deuxième séjour dans l'établissement. A bientôt j'espère.

Room was large and extremely clean with personalised, stylish decor and comfortable furnishings. The shower area was large and again scrupulously clean.
The outside area had been made very attractive with gravel and plants. Particular praise must go to the really excellent breakfast. We spent only one night in the hotel as we were heading from Calais to Brittany and it provided a useful break for the journey, but we are seriously considering coming back for a longer stay in the coming months.

Chambre "comfort" à l'arrière du bâtiment, donc très calme. En revanche, exposition au soleil et pas de clim dans la chambre (un ventilateur) donc très chaude en été. La literie est excellente, la chambre et la salle de bains sont vastes. Moquette au sol mais très propre et douce pour les pieds ;-)

Très bon accueil et excellent restaurant, il vaut mieux réserver même si on loge à l'hôtel! Chambre confortable et spacieuse mais pas climatisée - nous avons choisi une semaine de grande chaleur mais en aérant bien la chambre avant de se coucher et en se servant du ventilmateur fourni cela allait. Les chambres côté cour sont peut-être à privilégier. Personnel de l'hôtel et du restaurant très disponible

Belle chambre bien équipée, literie confortable.
Le seul bémol est le manque d’insonorisation entre les chambres voisines. Nous entendions les conversations des occupants de la chambre mitoyenne jusqu’à le son du vibreur de leurs téléphones… de la porte d’entrée les bruits de la salle de bain..

Hôtel superbement rénové et authentique.

Très bon accueil par la patronne, bon séjour dans l ensemble, la chambre petite, sans armoire, et une très vilaine vue, dommage, c était une chambre standard! Le repas bien dans l ensemble, mais petite quantité de viande dans mon plat, l une des serveuse pas très aimable, nous quittons la table en passant devant elle, même pas de bonne nuit, ni merci.. c est dommage nous attendions tellement autre chose après cette longue période de covid19. Petit déjeuner bien, mais pas de proposition pour un oeuf au plat ou oeuf brouillé ! Dommage.
Le lieux est exceptionnel, magnifique hôtel.

Très bel hôtel mais notre chambre était sombre car mansardée et petite mais d’une propreté irréprochable!
