Hello, extremely disappointed by the quality of the hotel, we had booked a room with balcony for two, and we had to pay €175 per night for breakfast, the welcome was top notch. On the other hand, the quality of the room is much too small, barely makes the busy street extremely noisy. no soundproofing, we even heard the phone in the room next door being disconnected. We didn't sleep all night. Shower, very small, very narrow to get in, very limited breakfast. No products or fresh fruit. Very pleasant swimming pool, but relatively small and very few slots for the spa. So we couldn't take advantage of it. The parking gate did not open fully. Fortunately we were in Moto and complicated because no place reserved with our room.

Good hotel, pleasant welcome, clean room. Complete and varied breakfast. A small downside for the opening hours of the swimming pool. Opening at 8 a.m. would have been a plus.

The room we had was not soundproofed at all. We could hear everything he was saying in the hallway. Room 20 on the ground floor. Noise from the heat pump. We could hear the neighbors upstairs washing... Not at all relaxing. The decoration of the room dated and mismatched. The bathroom, actually suitable for PMR but not suitable for other sinks that are too low…. Painting of doors to be redone. Missing a bulb on the wall lights. Lack of towel, and no bathrobe, not easy to get to the pool or spa. The positive points, good bedding, clean room, a kettle with coffee and tea available. The breakfast was plentiful and complete, the room a little too noisy. The spa with Jacuzzi and Hammam was very good, clean, as was the swimming pool. We had a great time there. We were very well received, with a smile, attentive. On the other hand, no one asks us if we had a good night… well…

A simple and welcoming hotel for a very reasonable price. I would have liked to see pine trees at the Hotel des Pins ;) and more subdued lighting in the room.

Hotel that lives up to its name! Very calm. Very nice home. Good relaxation in the swimming pool. Bike rental is very practical because there are beautiful walks to do.

No complaints. A nice welcome after a tiring road, followed by a quick swim in the hotel swimming pool to wake up a little! As a bonus, a good place to eat well without having to take the car.

We found the room old-fashioned, the door handles unscrewed, the RV trunks tired, space under the front door of the room, we can hear the VMC from the bathroom, the neighbors,... The decor is really to review. Nothing to complain about for the cleaning as well as the breakfast.

Possibility of arriving at 2 p.m. Extra swimming pool and spa especially after a hike. The parking, the doc....

very noisy room (pool air conditioning unit under the window: noise 24 hours a day). no air conditioning: infernal heat in the room (there is a fan to help). uninspiring and old furnishings. carpet in the shower room/WC!! no place to sit on the toilet because the distance between this and the wall is less than the footprint of a human being. no sufficient electrical outlets in the room: or the floor lamp or his mobile phone! distance between the bed and the door equal to 0.5 cm. however parking is a real plus.

The only drawback in my opinion is the lack of interior passage connecting the hotel and the exterior building where we slept (access by the street) and I will add too weak a VMC in the bathroom.

Proximity to the sea but room a little average on the points of contact. Room 21 overlooks the comings and goings of the staff in the very dark ground floor since you have to put up the blind so as not to be seen.

Overall a good stay in the Calme des Pins which is well positioned just to the south of ‘Les Sables d’Olonne’ .
I would recommend hiring bicycles from the hotel as there are wide safe cycle paths which lead to the beaches, coastal routes, town centre and port.
The hotel is physically split in two with our room being in the ‘Annex’ only accessible by going out onto the street and back in the main building. Unfortunately this meant getting wet if it was raining.
Our room could have done with some attention – the door banked against a bedside shelf – the bathroom mirror light had to be changed – the shower bracket did not fit properly (this seems to be an affliction suffered by many hotels 😊), however the staff were always polite and very helpful in answer to all our questions and needs. We would stay here again.

Very expensive for a very basic room. We paid 203 euros for 1 night with 2 breakfasts. Very old hotel, nothing has been redone for at least 10 years, very small room without comfort.
