Très bon accueil et beaucoup de gentillesse de la part du personnel.
Douche avec des traces jaunâtres de savon, évier quasiment bouché, traces sur les murs, pression très basse et sèche cheveux de mathusalem….
La literie est bonne et l’accueil est sympathique.
Chambre minuscule au 3ème étage sans ascenseur bien sûr. Le rapport qualité prix n'est vraiment pas bon.

Accueil agréable, petit déjeuner vraiment bien avec une bonne diversité de produits de bonne qualité apparente.
Quand au SPA , malgré un problème de température du jacuzzi (légèrement faible) nous avons passé un très bon moment.
Donc dans l'ensemble un séjour très agréable !

View the hotel's answerArrival at 3 p.m. as indicated on the site and the owner tells me that it's not before 4 p.m. so 1 hour outside in the cold. The same goes for departure, I am made to leave at 11 a.m. even though it says 12 p.m. on the site. I specially chose this accommodation for early arrival and late departure!! Well actually failed!! And professional meeting by video impossible to do as a result. Price too expensive for the service, and accommodation in a maid's room. Anyway next time, I'll go to another city.

We come every year as a group, the hotel is very well maintained, the staff very professional and friendly. Of course, as we get older, an elevator to access the upper floor would be welcome, but the architecture of the place is probably complicated to accommodate this request. An exterior elevator perhaps?!

No insulation, the impression of being in the same room as the neighbors! A high price compared to other hotels I usually go to. In short, meh!
Very disappointed between the photo on the reservation and the room on the 3rd floor without elevator, nice when you arrive with suitcases for 12 days of travel... Tiny "maid's" room in its own right, you barely move around the bed all that for €110!!. Icy reception at the restaurant ditto during the service fortunately the meal was good and a much friendlier welcome from a lady in the morning. In short, all this for a stay at 216€ all inclusive, I don't at all validate the value for money... plus we talked with other couples who had renovated rooms at 80€ so that's the package!! In short, for a 3-star accommodation in France, go your way!!

Clean and functional but the room I had was road side. Street lighting very bright in my room unless I closed shutter and/or curtains. No air-conditioning, just a fan so it felt like sleeping in a sauna.

Air conditioning in the rooms would be nice and a pity that you have to pay for your parking space in the garage because parking is a bit tight despite some outdoor space nearby otherwise very nice view from the restaurant on the terrace over the Dordogne I recommend this restaurant
The room was comfortable and very clean but no air conditioning, only a very noisy fan. I had breakfast at 9.15 am, the unoccupied tables on the terrace were set for lunch; same thing on the veranda. I felt like I was in the way.

Too noisy ! The room overlooked the street and all night long the noise of cars or young revelers... plus the noise of the wooden floor creaking at the slightest movement of the neighbors on the floor above, starting at 4:45 a.m.!!!!
The rooms are not sufficiently soundproofed….you can hear the shower and the flushing of the neighboring room…too bad. We had a room on the street side when we had booked on the Dordogne side… too bad

The opening time of the restaurant kitchen could have been communicated at check in. We arrived late and could have eaten right away but by the time we had come back from getting the room the kitchen had closed and only salads and deserts were available.
In the beginning the room smelled a bit like cigarettes and we first had to air out.
The toilet was in a seperate room that was so small it was not possible to sit down after closing the door. Had to sit down first and move the legs away in order to be able to close the door.
At breakfast used tables did not get cleared while we ate and some products had run out and did not get refilled.

Fortunately, I had printed my reservation because they wanted to make me pay twice for the breakfasts. It took a GPS to find the room. Upon arrival, we did not have any information. A bathroom of 2 m2. Some hygiene concerns in the room: cobwebs - malfunctioning blackout blind - stains on the bedspread. I don't know what dish I ate.
Very pleasant stopover in this establishment with a warm welcome and very comfortable rooms. A restaurant worthy of a gourmet. A varied and hearty breakfast. I highly recommend !!

Regulars of this hotel only the price seems excessive for the region but I cannot justify by an example I come back in relation to its location near my family

No soundproofing, I heard cars all night. The alarm clock, the shower, the neighbour's toilet. The bathroom door was stuck or damaged so shower with the door open with the cold coming in. The creaking floor. Hot water that takes a very long time to heat up and then changes temperature for no reason
Beautiful House that the Central hotel in Bort les Orgues overlooking the bubbling Dordogne, service, reception, dinner, room everything is there and in Grand !! very pleasant surprise, the personality of the owner (and his faithful team) has something to do with it and we feel good and we will come back.
The rooms are very clean and tastefully furnished. The comfortable bathroom. I had booked a stopover evening, unfortunately the restaurant was closed, and no one had warned me. The SPA was also closed.

the smell in the rooms is not good. It smells of chemicals. We changed rooms but it had the same smell. I had my nightgown put on the bathroom floor. The smell from the room got stuck in the nightgown, so it had to be washed before the next use.

Extremely poor value for money. Cramped room, dusty, smelling of pest control product, view from the room on the roof of the restaurant. The toilet was not working when we arrived, the hotelier fixed it in our presence. The bath towels were placed on the lid of the toilet because the towel rack was unusable. We asked to be changed rooms without success. Room without air conditioning. Cold welcome bordering on unpleasant.
First of all, the hotel is not air-conditioned despite its 3 stars (during a heat wave not great - it is true that it was not mentioned on Booking but I must admit that with regard to the classification, I did not didn't even ask the question). No elevator either. In addition, there is an unannounced (or badly announced) parking supplement. Our room (49) was not at all as nice as the ones shown in the photo and access by multiple corridors/stairs was not easy with a load. Finally, when we received the reservation, we would have liked to have been informed by the establishment that a commercial and popular event would take place in the evening (and the night of our arrival). After 6 hours on the road, you may want something else and at least have a choice. Especially since if we had arrived a little later, the hotel was inaccessible because the streets were cut off by the demonstration (no prior information either). Finally, the restaurant was suffocating (outside the terrace) with only 2 fans set up in the dining room (while there was no one in the dining room) and far from the veranda where we were placed. The long waiting times (the restaurant also provided tables in the rue cqfd) and the quality/price ratio of our questionable choice (19€ a plate with a little salad, a slice of bread with fresh cheese and salmon smoked lambda... We experienced much better then during our holidays. In short, I had trusted the Logis de France label but we will not return to it during our transits in the south-west of France... for sure.

Cold and unfriendly welcome (not even hello!). We were housed in a "large" room with a "private" bathroom, fortunately because this one was so small that you don't have to exceed size 38 to get inside, the shower is so narrow that you can't lower to wash your feet. The room is not air-conditioned with a view of the street so very noisy. We were really disappointed.

A very nice establishment but which suffers from the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. The nights have been very complicated by the high temperatures in recent weeks, despite the installation of a fan. I would come back in the fall anyway.
The hotel is easily accessible, however it is located in a very busy street and the double glazing is not sufficient to mask traffic noise at night. Some rooms are very/too small for two people. One downside: The cleaning is carried out by a specialized company and lacks follow-up (the room assigned to us was not cleaned, luckily there was a small room available). Another remark on this point, we appreciated the commercial gesture and the friendliness of the manager who managed the situation the next day, unlike the unkind reaction of the person present at the reception on the day of our arrival. The restaurant is of good quality, the terrace overlooking the Dordogne is pleasant.
The room was nicely decorated but small difficult to move around 2 ditto for the bathroom too cramped impossible to move but the worst is the smell of sewer that goes up it's nauseating moreover no air conditioning stifling heat. and bad luck on Sunday morning running in the village from 7am
Good stay but very noisy room, impossible to keep the windows open to overcome the lack of air conditioning: we had to choose between noise and stifling heat, in both cases, difficult to sleep! As for the half-board meal, it is to be recommended: it allowed us to discover some specialties of the region of excellent quality. Not having been able to taste everything, we will come back, but with air conditioning!.........or in mid-season.

Some particularly friendly waiters or receptionists! Others are less warm, more in efficiency/business mode. Cute room with a view of the Dordogne and the village, ideal! (Same for the restaurant terrace) Small and sober room but tasteful, coffee machine, brand tea bags.
