Très bon hôtel. La chambres est confortable. Plateau de courtoisie.
La restauration est très bien aussi, il manque un peu de variété dans les plats proposés pour un séjour de 4 jours.

Our experience at this hotel was perfect in every way: the welcome, comfort, cleanliness, and facilities all met our expectations. Ideally located, the hotel offers quick access to major tourist attractions while maintaining a peaceful setting. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant serves flavorful cuisine made with fresh ingredients. A big thank you to the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Their warm welcome makes us eager to return very soon!

Charming hotel, located in the countryside. Beautiful, well-appointed room. Perfect and very well-prepared meals (breakfast and dinner). It's a shame the daily specials were limited, but the lady always offered us an alternative for the main course or dessert. (In fact, a restaurant with a smaller menu than some chains necessarily serves fresh, local produce: that's my criterion for judging the quality of restaurants.) The waitresses and management are charming and attentive to the guests. We felt very comfortable. We therefore repeated our 2006 experience and remain just as satisfied 20 years later.

I spent two nights at the hotel, which is well located for visiting the Loire Valley châteaux, especially Cheverny, Blois, and Amboise. The welcome was warm, and the room was comfortable. A minor point regarding the bathroom: perhaps a mat to prevent slipping would be helpful, as well as a shower curtain. I have a bad habit of splashing water everywhere when I shower, and my wife always complains about it. The soundproofing in the room also needs improvement, as you can hear when the neighbors in the next room move their chairs... you have to put something on the chair legs to dampen the noise. Better lighting in the parking lot and access roads would be appreciated. The restaurant was excellent; Saturday evening, with its candlelight and waitresses/waiters in lovely traditional costumes, was wonderful. The food was great, with the ribeye steak being a particular highlight. Thank you to the team!

A very nice, charming establishment located in a beautiful region. The room was exactly what I expected. No unpleasant surprises, except for the door which was a bit difficult to open and close, but that was a minor detail. Regarding the time slot, that was my fault; I hadn't realized we could call in the morning to let them know we were arriving, before reception opened. Personally, I think 6:00 PM is a bit late. Finally, a small hiccup I just noticed: I'm part of the ETHIK program, and I thought my reservation at this hotel served as validation for receiving my euros. Apparently not; I had to present my ETHIK card, and no one asked me for it... a shame.

Very satisfied in every way. Good food. Car charging (although a bit pricey for 2 hours of charging!). Very pleasant welcome.

This is the third year and third time (stopover) that we have stayed at the Vieux Logis. Still as charming and with very dedicated and attentive staff. The food is top-notch, as is the wine cellar. We recommend it.

unpleasantly disappointed head of establishment who called me the next day to tell me that I had made a noise at night while I was watching TV and that I had made numerous trips back and forth at 6 a.m....soundproof your rooms and your entrance doors and other customers will not come and complain but when I rent a room I watch TV if I want to watch it and I come and go freely if I need to and that's it!!! I was outraged by the content of your conversation the next morning

Negative point: opening only from 6 p.m. / no outdoor bins on the garden side / lighting too poor on the garden side / no air conditioning / poor hairdryer / shared parking for the hotel and the restaurant when you arrive on Saturday evening after 8 p.m. there is no more space to park. It should at least be marked on the ground to avoid leaving 1 m between each car. Positive point: very large room / great bedding / very large shower / very large television / magnificent and well-kept outdoor setting.

Night in the caravan for our return from vacation. A wonderful experience with a calm and relaxing environment.

Big mess in the reservations not taken care of by the owner, we had reserved a room with a double bed and a single bed, on arrival we were given another room with only a double bed, thank goodness we didn't have children! It was supposedly to avoid the heat but since the hotel was full why give us an advantage over another couple? Especially since there was no air conditioning and it was difficult to sleep in the heat that day. After complaining she ended up giving us the price of the room we actually had (cheaper than the one originally reserved) no extra gesture even though we ate there for around a hundred euros. In the photo we were also supposed to have a terrace she told us that the images on the site were not contractual. The meal on the other hand was very good and the staff professional. Cleanliness ok, shame to have your head against the shower wall when you go to the toilet, small power cuts of a few seconds.

We spent 3 nights at Vieux Fusil with our family, it was great. Restaurant: Simple and delicious cuisine. A treat. Hotel: perfect, very clean. Friendliness and top-notch service. A very pleasant setting. We recommend this establishment.

2-night stay on a business trip as part of a stopover package. Le Vieux Fusil ticks all the boxes: friendliness, availability, comfort/price, quality of the cuisine, variety of breakfast items, access, parking. I will return with great pleasure.

Disgusting treatment. We booked, had confirmation. Then we reserved a table for dinner, this was also confirmed in February. We arrived and the hotel was locked, no one there. I telephoned eventually and was told the hotel never opened on Sunday. Was also told Booking.com was at fault. Then was told a side door was open and room 2 was ours, the key was in the door. We never ate as the whole area is dead on Sunday. I am 75 my husband 77. We left next morning with no breakfast because we did not wish to give this awful place more trade. Later in the day we checked our bank account and the hotel had taken the full amount. We had no check in, no restaurant, no bar, no service.

Beautiful countryside setting. Terrace was peaceful after a long drive. wasn’t going to eat but got tempted by the ambiance and menu. Very good.

We chose this hotel for its location as we were visiting Beauval Park with our family. We really enjoyed the hotel overall. It's a very warm and friendly atmosphere! The welcome was lovely and the rooms very comfortable.

Exceptional originality at night in a caravan and very beautiful layout

We chose this hotel for its central location between the sites we wanted to visit. Overall, it was just for sleeping, but we were happy to be able to have dinner after our day of traveling. The meal was good despite a rather limited menu. The room was adequate, although a bit dated and poorly soundproofed. The nearby road is not a plus... Regarding breakfast, we were disappointed with the value for money.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hôtel du Vieux Fusil. It is a half-hour drive from Beauval Zoo. The parking lot is large and very easy to access. The welcome is warm. The room is very clean and functional. The breakfast is perfect, which can be enjoyed on a sun-drenched veranda overlooking a garden. I highly recommend it!

The family room was very comfortable (2 bedrooms, one with 3 small beds, and the other with a large double bed). Beautiful decoration, two TVs...very good! The dinner was more disappointing, however. Rather high prices and average quality of the dishes. We expected a better service for the restaurant, it's a shame...

In the middle of Sologne, an unusual place where you can eat really well. The setting and decor are very nice. We will come back during a more colorful season.

Les lits dans les chambres avec jardin sont très bruyants et peu confortables, ce qui nuit à la qualité du séjour.

J'avais choisi cet hotel logis pour régler par cartes cadeaux Logis, mais malheureusement, le personnel ne savait pas comment les encaisser. De plus, le service client de Logis était fermé le samedi, ce qui m’a empêché d'utiliser mes cartes cadeaux comme prévu. C'est dommage que la procédure ne soit pas clairement expliquée, tant pour le personnel que sur leur site internet ...

The heating in the room did not work, very dirty, bad smell, there was a big dog in a room that barked at night, the owner did not make much effort to apologize for the inconvenience, I do not recommend at all

This is my third stay. Most relaxing and enjoyable with helpful staff.

Lack of air conditioning in the rooms, there were 4 of us in a small 10m² room with only one opening so it was not possible to create drafts so in the middle of summer with high temperatures we were hot and therefore slept very badly. Cruel lack of power outlets in the room. Breakfast from 8am, too late we are on vacation but with a program and the road, 7am would be a more appreciated time.

Hello, to understand my dissatisfaction I was thinking of booking an evening stopover with an air-conditioned room (Logis filters) to find myself in a caravan at 30.5° (interior temperature). The worst being that I arrived at 5:15 p.m. to find reception closed even though my reservation confirmation told me to call for an arrival after 6 p.m.!?! I had to come back at 6 p.m. as the phone was not answered. A misunderstanding, certainly, but painful when you're running after time at work.
