Charming hotel, lovely twin room, excellent breakfast

A very pleasant experience, peaceful, spotless shower, impeccable bedding

We stayed for three nights at this three-star hotel-restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was very mixed, with several problems that significantly marred our stay. Upon arrival, we asked for information about activities and sightseeing opportunities in the area. We were told to contact the tourist office, with the receptionist explaining that she wasn't from the region and didn't have time for sightseeing. We found this response rather unwelcoming for a tourist establishment. Our first room was in the attic. We were surprised by some of the amenities, which we felt were not up to the standards of a three-star hotel: very poor quality bedside tables, one of which was broken, a small table that looked more like office furniture, and a particularly noisy sliding bathroom door. The first night was especially difficult because of the air conditioning, which triggered a whirring noise every 5 to 10 minutes that lasted several seconds. I had to sleep with earplugs. We reported the problem and were eventually offered another room. However, the room change led to a new difficulty with our luggage. Since the lobby wasn't secure, we were simply told to leave our bags there. We ended up having to find what seemed to be the safest place to leave them ourselves. Regarding the advertised amenities, the description indicated a Nespresso machine in the room, which wasn't there. When I asked about it, I was told that due to the heat, the hotel had opted to provide two small bottles of water instead. Fortunately, I was allowed to have coffee from the machine at breakfast. We also appreciated that our fresh produce could be kept in the cold room and that the pool hours were extended during our stay. On the other hand, some details still surprised us: the outdoor equipment hadn't been put away despite the storm, a parasol arm was broken, and one of the staff members' uniforms was particularly dirty. Finally, on the last morning, around 7:30 a.m., even though the posted schedule indicated breakfast started at 7:00 a.m. on weekdays, I was abruptly accosted as I was heading to the breakfast area from outside. Someone shouted at me that breakfast wasn't open and that if everyone did the same... I simply left, without trying to argue. Adding to this was a billing issue we discovered after our departure: we were charged €2.50 each for four coffees, even though they had been provided as a courtesy when I reported the absence of the advertised Nespresso machine. Most importantly, the two nights corresponding to the room change were charged an additional €10 per night, even though this change was due to the air conditioning problem in the first room and therefore not at our request. We therefore paid €114 for the two nights in question, compared to €104 for the first night. Ultimately, despite a few commendable gestures, the accumulation of room problems, the noise from the air conditioning, some of the amenities, several unpleasant reception experiences, and especially this discrepancy in billing, leave us with a very disappointing impression for a three-star establishment. We particularly expect an explanation regarding the charges for the two additional nights and the coffees.

We had a very pleasant two-night stay as a family. Everything was very clean, the welcome was warm, and the pool was magnificent!

Good restaurant, pleasant hotel

If I have one small complaint, it would be about the restaurant; the menu is a bit pricey, otherwise very good.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The hotel is well located and the pool is nice. However, the same cannot be said for the room: upon arrival, there was an unpleasant chemical smell in the children's room. Furthermore, there was a bloodstain on the toilet seat. Finally, the shower head was loose and there was no soap in the shower. To top it all off, we were woken up two days in a row by loud footsteps directly above our second-floor room (at 4:30 a.m.), and we couldn't find any consolation in the breakfast, which was of poor quality for the price.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous room, nice location, and the swimming pool is a big plus.

Pleasant stay, warm welcome

The hotel was decent, but the pool and grounds could be better maintained. Breakfast was at 8:00, a bit late for someone who gets up early.

HOTEL, welcome, staff, restaurant, swimming pool TOP. Just a shame not to have been able to eat on Sunday lunchtime. An idea: offer the day before to customers who wish a cold meal tray (raw vegetables, hard-boiled egg, chicken breast, pasta salad, fruit,) to collect at breakfast. Thank you for letting us access the swimming pool on the day of departure, it was really appreciated. And again congratulations for the prime rib, one of the best I have eaten.

Very nice surprise!

The room was unfortunately less pretty than those seen in the photos but clean. Quite disappointed by the breakfast, not very varied (no scrambled eggs or bacon/sausages for example) and complicated to restock (no water for 15 minutes...). On the other hand, parking and swimming pool were appreciated!

Large, well-renovated hotel with an impeccable welcome. Our room was very large with a beautiful bathroom. We enjoyed the restaurant, which offers great amenities (a little expensive for my taste), but we ate very well, as did the buffet breakfast with a wide selection of both sweet and savory dishes. The large pool is fantastic! What more can I say: we will definitely come back without hesitation!

A regular at Logis de France hotels all over France, I was surprised when I arrived at this establishment, which was advertised as cozy and boasted a delicious restaurant. The experience, in my opinion, fell short. This hotel is nevertheless adequate for an overnight stay.
