Upon arrival, the hotel was closed, so we had to call. They sent us a trainee who didn't speak French, who gave us the key without further ado. When we came back down from our room, a charming waitress gave us restaurant recommendations for that evening, as the hotel restaurant was closed due to an outside catering contract. Guests had to find other options; we had been informed of this just before and couldn't cancel. The next morning, we were verbally attacked by the receptionist, who claimed the hotel had sent us an email the day after our reservation informing us of the restaurant's closure—an email we never received, which is strange! But this doesn't excuse her appalling behavior. I think she should find another job.
great stay and location to either explore the local area or transiting through. Close to autoroutes. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and a great restaurant.
Not at all up to the price paid for an overnight stay. No heating in the bathroom, TV didn't work, damp patches on the ceiling, dirty bathroom, and a terrible breakfast (the spread was a year past its expiration date, and the receptionist didn't seem to care). No one was available in the hotel before 9 am. The receptionist was completely unresponsive and offended by the few complaints.

Excellent
A lovely establishment located in the heart of Bléré. The staff are friendly, helpful, and competent. The room was very quiet and overlooked the patio. Private parking is included at no extra charge. The only things to improve are the extension cord system to optimize the number of outlets and some minor odors in the bathroom.

Very warm welcome, good restaurant and comfortable beds, but the breakfast needs improvement: very limited, no one to help with things like a broken washing machine, and a lack of choice in the products.

Needs renovation! Carpet on stairs very dirty. Room adequate despite paying extra for an upgrade. Carpet badly stained, shutters broken so difficult to shut. Bathroom looked like it had been recently renewed, pity they didnt repaint the door frame. Corridor very dark, difficult to find light switches. Breakfast poor value, 3 very small pastries each, no bread for toaster, no butter. Stayed at various Logis hotels throughout France and this did not meet their usual standards. Very disappointing.
Very disappointed with the hotel from start to finish. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, the hotel was dirty and cluttered and the hotel did not live up to its 4 star rating.

Excellent stay in beautiful old typical french hotel. Wonderful dinner included in „Etappe Gourmande“ flat rate. Very nice fresh breakfast also included. Refreshing pool. Nicely decorated room and bathroom. Absolutely quiet! Private parking available.
A stay... surprising! Hotel closed between noon and 3 p.m., so we wait by the pool and second surprise: it is rather dilapidated and above all absolutely not secure. Third surprise: check-in. At 3 p.m., the formalities are carried out efficiently and the owner opens the room for us, not yet done! And explains to us that the cleaning lady "arrives", and indeed the person starts cleaning. So we go out for a look around which will last a good hour before being able to enjoy the accommodation. Fourth surprise: the hotel is decorated and furnished with "second-hand" furniture and objects. It is very nice but it sometimes leads to inconveniences like the nails sticking out of the seats of the armchairs in the room... Luckily I notice it before the children hurt themselves. Fifth surprise: the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night. The hotel is of course not responsible for the triggering, surely caused by an unscrupulous guest, but the scene that follows is surreal: only a handful of guests come down from their rooms, the main emergency exit (the door at the front of the hotel) is locked, the manager is not on site and only two young employees who do not speak French are present and do not know what to do... Fortunately it was a false alarm, I dare not imagine what could have happened in the event of real danger. I will skip over the little jokes like the hot and cold water being reversed in the bathroom (bathtub and sink but no shower), and the air conditioning which is making a hell of a racket. The almost 600 euros spent for two nights and breakfast for four leaves a slightly bitter taste. In short, beyond the discomfort, there are security issues that need to be addressed urgently in my humble opinion.

Cosy and comfortable place to stay in Center of lovely little town. Extraordinary good food on edge to gourmet but with reasonable price. I recommend the crepes suzettes as dessert. Very kind service.

A very pleasant, charming, and peaceful hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Dinner was served in the courtyard shaded by a medlar tree, a veritable green cocoon. The staff is lovely and helpful. As for the food, we enjoyed the refined and delicious dishes. In short, a lovely experience that makes you want to come back!

Very warm welcome in a charming hotel! Beautiful room with neat decoration! We were 4 friends. And we made the same observation! Only downside, no heating on arrival, and once turned on at 6 p.m. the time to warm up is long!! And we find that for a 3 star, the quality of the pillows could be improved! We were surprised to see the state of one of the chairs at our table, the back was broken! Too bad! On the other hand, we loved the dinner! Explosions of flavors, delicate dishes! We enjoyed our stay but we found that the value for money was not there. The breakfast was not worthy of an establishment of this type. The butter was replaced by frozen margarine and the cold cuts offered consisted of two slices of sausage and a small slice of ham dating back several days. The orange juice was spicy and the homemade yogurt had the smell of an outdated product.
It's hard to write down everything because I had to cancel my stay against my will following the unexpected and last-minute cancellation of my partner. I called the establishment and nothing was offered to me - possibly a postponement even if not provided for in the regulations. I lost 154.5 euros when it was supposed to be a honeymoon evening. No gesture or commercial attitude! Much regret

The food was very good but the service was a little disappointing. The room was adequate but no tea or coffee and there was nowhere in the hotel to sit and relax and have a drink.

A delightful traditional country hotel. Our room was very comfortable and had unusual decorations with a musical theme, reflecting the name of the room (Chopin). The bathroom was clean and very convenient. The cuisine in the dining room is excellent and the wine list offers a great range of options, although none by the glass which is disappointing. Our only note of criticism was that the air conditioning unit in our room was very large and noisy - surely a hotel of this quality can afford to provide a modern a/c unit?

Hello, for me there are mainly 3 points to note. - No courtesy tray in the room and the reason given to us at reception is at the very least absurd! Customers would leave with them...! Unheard of. In addition, in the room there are only 2 electrical outlets, ditto I raised the subject at reception and I was told that normally there are power strips, again no luck there were none in my room. And finally it would be good to have the air conditioning serviced because it certainly consumes a lot of energy but does not cool very much and gives off a bad smell.

We were disappointed with the hotel. For pre-dinner drinks we had the distinct feeling we were interrupting the diner set-up! Our food appeared to have been plated up for some considerable time before it was served. We had waited 30 minutes for our desserts and then had to ask for them.
For the price we paid we expected better, we have stayed at many Logis hotels over the years and this hotel did not give us value for money.
