Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food with regional dishes, top-notch.

Good hotel conveniently just off the A20. Great for overnight stop on way back to the UK. Service is excellent, rooms comfortable and clean although the colour of the walls is rather unusual, such as bright green or dark red. Great breakfast. The best thing is the hotel restaurant just in front of the hotel, which has a lot of character. Excellent menu, well cooked and good value for money.

Very pleasant and friendly welcome. Very comfortable room with bath and shower as well as separate toilet, which is extremely rare. Tasty meal but the wine list only includes expensive wines. A little personal information for "Messrs. Jérémie/Godefroy Aumont/Rivet": we watched the program DES RACINES ET DES AILES in which Mr. Manuel OLIVIER showed his know-how and especially his commitment to reviving the vines on the hillsides of DIJON. It was very interesting and informative.

Nice hotel located close to the highway.

It's located close to a main road in a residential area. It's nice that there's a restaurant on site; it wasn't expensive and the food wasn't bad, though not top-notch, of course. The hotel looks a bit dated but is certainly adequate for a stopover and, I think, also as a base for things like Vierzon, but we had drizzle.

Loved the warm welcome, comfy room and friendly nature of all the people working there. We ate in the restaurant which was great. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at an overnight stop this holiday with fresh fruit, filter coffee as well as machine options and plenty of other choices for those that wanted it.

On the whole a good hotel, chosen for its accessibility. Bedding good but didn't like the texture - sort of 'wrinkly'. Non-separated bathroom Ok for us but might not suit all. Needs a shelf by the basin. Also needs a bedside table on both sides - I had to use a chair - not ideal.
Very useful to have a restaurant open every evening (another reason for our choice) but the menus seems to have changed since our last visit. Sadly my fish was small and overcooked and the haricots verts were inedible.

We have stayed here for the second time. Perfect for a stopover in the way to southern France. Quit area code to the motorway. Absolutely clean and a restaurant next to the hotel. Absolutely value for money.

For us this was a one-night stopover, travelling south. Good parking at the hotel and an excellent evening meal sitting outside in the garden with very good service. The room layout with separate shower, wash-basin and toilet worked well. Breakfast was good. We would use this hotel again.

The decor of the rooms is original but a little too much: black dominates, including on the walls, which makes the rooms quite dark and the atmosphere not very warm, despite the lighting. Spacious rooms, good bedding, very good sanitary equipment. One peculiarity: at least in the room I had, there was not an isolated bathroom: the sink, backed by a walk-in shower (out of sight), is visible from the bed. This can bother some people.

This was the 3th time in a row, we stayed at La Mire in Vierzon, France. It so nice there and the people at the hotel and restaurant are so friendly. Hotel is comfortable and you can have a very good diner at the restaurant. Lots of choice. We love it in Vierzon.

Very welcoming, smiling staff, we had a room on the second floor and given my husband's knee problems they didn't hesitate to put us on the ground floor. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were also well received and ate very well. In short, I really recommend this hotel

Great place for a stopover. 5 minutes from the autoroute. Room clean. Dogs permitted. Has its own restaurant which is very welcome. Lovely terrace to have a drink on. Breakfast buffet is extra but very plentiful. Throughly recommend.

This was a return visit after a twenty year gap! Clearly the hotel has adapted with the passing years and provides a very good experience in all respects. Despite a declared difficulty with the absence of the two chefs, the team worked to overcome the problem and we enjoyed every meal which was of a high quality. Thank you for making our visit during hot weather such an enjoyable experience and my wife appreciated the small gift of a porte-sac which she is putting to good use. A la prochaine.

Great setting, just a little dated in the rooms.
The colour scheme, Purple/Green, was a little unique.
But each to their own I guess.

Lovely situation for the hotel. The room needed a mirror in it and I would have preferred tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But it was a quiet comfortable room. The restaurant food was very disappointing.

Our room was spacious, modern, clean with a nice touch of originality. A separate toilet from the bathroom is a plus. Our dog was allowed even at breakfast for an additional 8.50 (discovered on the bill). The adjoining restaurant is nice, we were able to dine in the garden under an arbor.

Very friendly welcome! Probably because of the heat we were allowed to take free non-alcoholic drinks during our stay. Top!

Charming hotel, easy to access, very welcoming.

Hotel, in all its splendor. We feel like we're at home. Sharing, communication, kindness, the taste of the restaurant, perfect fresh produce and homemade dishes, not industrial ones. Quiet and pleasant hotel. Very welcoming. It's a shame that the twin rooms are on the second floor, as they are usually requested by older people. So it doesn't seem very logical, even though the receptionist kindly offered to take our luggage up.

It is a pity that the restaurant was not closed when booking, which means that you have to take the car again, after a long journey, to have dinner.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The place is quiet, ideal for resting, with clean and spacious rooms. The reception staff is welcoming, attentive and caring, which adds a real human touch to the stay. The restaurant, located just 20 meters away, offers quality cuisine, and the breakfast is just as satisfying. A notable plus: water and sodas are offered, an appreciable attention. On the practical side, the parking lot, although a little limited on the hotel side, always offers available spaces, which avoids any additional stress. A stay that I recommend without hesitation for those looking for tranquility, comfort and good service.

Welcome and service at the top! Restaurant 1 step from the hotel: highly recommended! Breakfast: charming and attentive service. Parking in front and behind the hotel, very appreciable. downside: the soundproofing of the rooms, we heard everything that was happening next door. I reported it and I was told that the problem was known to the Management. With discreet neighbors at night (this was our case) it's okay, with noisy neighbors, the night could be complicated! What bothered me a little, the configuration of the "bathroom" in our room: the sink is 1.20m from the bed... to the left of the sink, the shower (out of sight) otherwise no screen, no privacy. You can watch TV at the same time as you wash or chat with your partner lying on the bed!

Exceptional welcome and care given to ensure that everything was comfortable. The room and facilities were excellent, drinks and coffee available in the lounge area and ample parking. One of the nicest breakfast’s I have had in a long time and a very friendly welcome from the lady looking after us even if it was 7.00am on a Sunday morning.

This is the third year that we have stopped at this hotel located near the motorway exit no. 7 and we are always very well received. Charming, smiling staff. Very comfortable room (Italian shower, separate toilet, TV, air conditioning) and very clean. The superb restaurant on the shaded terrace offers 3 menus as well as the à la carte menu. The dishes are excellent and the price of the set menu to choose from is quite reasonable. We will come back next year without hesitation. We book directly on the hotel website, it's better.

The La Mire hotel is on a very pleasant site, and its restaurant on site is very original in small wooden pergolas for privacy..very good dishes Excellent welcome, beautiful rooms, everything was perfect, I highly recommend.if you have an animal, a plot of land behind the hotel to walk it.

We hebben hier overnacht op de heenreis naar de Dordogne. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk eten, fijn ontbijt en een nette kamer.

On the road to vacation, we spent an excellent evening first at the restaurant then at the hotel! Very warm welcome, family atmosphere in a typical setting!

The room was very good and big and the bed very comfortable. The welcome and service very nice. However, the evening meal was not good. That was very disappointing.

Perfect hotel. Welcome on arrival and departure. Flawless. For the restaurant: we were warned that there would not be everything because it was closing day. OK. But... The waiter presents the slate as if without warning of what is missing. Only one dish is crossed out and... We choose pork terrine. The waiter tells us there are no more. We choose something else. And there... Magic... He comes back and says that they "found" some terrine... Ah... Or that? We ask ourselves the question. There was apparently no communication between the kitchen and the room. Review the professionalism of the server. The beef steak was tough and so was the tart tatin crust. Closing the next day doesn't justify everything. You have to organize the use of “leftovers” differently. A couple left because there was no longer what was written on the slate... Still nothing crossed out an hour after our arrival....
