Restaurant la Croix Saint Maurice

C'est la 2ème année que nous venons dans cet hôtel et nous avons adoré notre séjour. L'hôtel est très confortable, propre et le personnel est très gentil. Le restaurant est très bon, nous nous sommes régalés. Tout était parfait !

The manager was extremely rude to us we would never stay here again. I know this was a year ago now but we won’t forget the awful experience. He was very courteous to other French people but so rude to us. The head of housekeeping was also rude, she was banging on our door nearly an hour before check out then shouted something at us in French that we couldn’t understand. We are older people and travel to the mountains regularly, we are polite and tidy but those people all ruined out stay. Just awful rude people. Never again.

Très belle organisation, tout se déroule très facilement et agréablement pour les clients. Bel accueil par tout le personnel. Chambre style montagne très agréable. Jacuzzi, haman, détente bienvenue après une journée de randonnée. dîner et petit déjeuner au top

Non prevenus que Chambre mansardée mari trop grand obligé de se plier à chaque déplacement.

We were able to enjoy an upgraded room with a magnificent terrace overlooking the church square, too bad the rain was torrential.

Apart from the small size of the bedroom and attic bathroom, no complaints. Beautiful establishment and pleasant staff. The restaurant is also good.

We had a good stay at this hotel. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi after suffering the autumn rain :). A real moment of relaxation ! Ideally located in the heart of the village, we recommend.

Very nice hotel and very well located. The staff is very welcoming and takes care of you. Very clean establishment. The breakfast is very generous as well as the evening meals.

Excellent location, decor is of a local nature. Servicing of rooms was excellent. Restaurant provided excellent service and wide choice of menus. We did not take breakfast at 17€ per person per day as we only eat a small bowl of cereal. There were a few issues that the hotel has no control over but if I had know about these issues I would have stayed elsewhere. The issue include a real issue of lack of car parking within 800 m of the hotel. We arrived after a long drive from Chinon and then had to spend a further one hour looking for a space. The hotel tried their best but they could do very little. Another major issue was a disco. Music band on two nights playing to 11pm. These issues probably only occur in the busiest times of the year

Very good stay at the hotel La Croix Saint-Maurice from which we returned delighted.

Do not sell a spa with jacuzzi when it comes to a balneo bath for 4.... The hammam sauna area is really very small, without daylight or view, it is not at all the asset of the hotel. The rooms meanwhile let in the cold from the outside because of the glazing which is really too thin for a mountain hotel and the heating was simply turned off. The breakfast is good, there is everything you need but the direction of traffic needs to be reviewed, we walked on each other. On the other hand, the staff of the brewery is really top.

I enjoyed my stay very much. Two small regrets. In the bathroom, not enough shelves or hooks to store things and towels. At breakfast, perfect except for the lack of salted butter. Everything else was very good

Staff was very brutal Staff was very rude and unprofessional. The room were exactly crawl spaces . We couldn't stand up in the room. Outrageous that they rent out such rooms. Everything turned out to be Booking.com's fault. Never been treated so rudely. Downright outrageous!

The rooms are really very small, The tiny bathroom, when you come down from the shower, enter the toilet

Check before if there is not a party because 3 nights reserved, 3 balls in a row under the windows. No pre or on arrival information or compassion. Obligation to dine at 7 p.m. if you want a place in the restaurant, while tables will remain empty... so it's because hotel guests come after outside guests! Breakfast with few fresh products (baguettes, pancakes and industrial croissants), no orange juice, no seasonal fruit except kiwis. No choice of table because they set up the restaurant tables from 9 a.m., customers focused on tables with wooden benches without cushions... The brasserie on the ground floor is a test: 5 waiters who keep coming and going for nothing, we throw you a coaster to fix your table yourself, we ask you what you drink before being seated, we get rid of you when the other guests have not finished, we stress you to leave as soon as possible and whatever your age. Boss in bermudas who folds the napkins at the restaurant by having piled them on the shoulder, close to the chin.... (not very covid)

Very nice discovery of this charming hotel in the center of Grand Bornand. Magnificent view of the mountains, quiet tastefully decorated. The services are there (bedding, room equipment). Copious and varied breakfast, good value for money restaurant. We recommend this charming hotel-restaurant and will not hesitate to come back!

cramped room of 12m2 and attic too expensive for 80€

Good welcome. Nice room a bit small but comfortable and clean. Note the kindness of the room service. Good balanced cuisine and plenty of it.

Hello, The hotel team is very welcoming, the room is clean. The catering is delicious. Parking is not easy but you get used to it. We had a pleasant stay and we thank you for it.
