Restaurant la Claire Fontaine

Booked a room with one double bed and one single bed. We didn't receive them. When we reported this to reception, they didn't respond. The bathroom was missing some tiles, and there was thick mold near the window frame, which we also didn't respond to when we reported it. I contacted the head office twice. I'm still waiting for a response. Once and never again—what terrible service.

Very decent establishment. The only downside was the evening meal. We ordered a dish, but it was sold out! We asked for something else negotiated at the same price. But we waited 45 minutes before being served! The starter was good, but a bit meager... We asked for dessert, but it was sold out!! We were supposed to eat two nights in a row. We didn't eat here on the second night. In addition, the atmosphere was very noisy in the dining room... We won't be back!

Too bad we didn't have time to enjoy the pool and spa.

Instead of a room in the annex, we wanted a room in the main building. They immediately thought along and arranged this. This is how service should be, kudos!

Nice hotel, good room, restaurant very good albeit a bit expensive though day menu was reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel. Room *junior suite* nice and spacious. Bed is a bit narrow and the bathroom is also narrow in relation to the room. Your movement in the bathroom is limited.

The room we originally booked was very small so we upgraded to a bigger one and this was excellent. I liked the way the television was attached to the wall facing the table and chairs instead of the wall facing the bed. The view from the balcony was much nicer than the original which faced the main road. This is why I overall gave a 3 for quality of accommodation while the room itself scored much higher. I thought the breakfast was good but the scrambled egg was nearly cold but I know it is difficult to keep warm. No kettle in the room for tea and coffee. Fortunately I brought mine with me along with the tea bags and sugar. I bought milk from the Spar.

Very nice hotel, very competitive price, copious and varied breakfast buffet at will. Very spacious room and bathroom. Very correct welcome.

We had a very good stay, the meals were delicious. The only small drawbacks were that there was no network in and around the hotel, and the TV was very limited, with no Belgian channels, RTL-TVI, the first one.

Nice hotel. The downside is barking dogs. And pay close attention when leaving the car park, especially cars heading towards La Roche often come (too) fast from the right from a nearby bend. There is also a bush that blocks the view to the left.

Beautiful surroundings. Good dining options.

It was nice that they thought along and changed a room due to the light not working in the other room

Have stayed here several times and always had a good stay. Hotel is now being modernised and that is making it an even more pleasant environment. Lovely situation beside the river. Good food. Very friendly service by a team that care about their guests.

Onveilig hotel, heb met mijn hoofd gestoten tegen het lage plaffond, waar ik nu nog last van heb aan mijn hoofd, terbarmelijk klein en veilig en dat voor 390 euro, neen replace krijg je hier niet voor!!!
