Le Logis du Château à Josselin est véritablement un joyau caché dans le cœur de la Bretagne. Son charme authentique et son atmosphère chaleureuse en font l'endroit idéal pour une escapade inoubliable. Dès l'instant où vous franchissez ses portes, vous êtes transporté dans un univers un peu hors du temps avec de la modernité.
L'équipe du soir mérite un immense applaudissement pour sa sympathie . Accueil chaleureux et service impeccable.
Les chambres avec vue sur la rivière et l'arrière du château nous offrent un spectacle dès le réveil.
La partie restaurant/ petit déjeuner est imprégné d'une ambiance paisible et relaxante avec toujours cette magnifique vue sur le château 🏰. Parfait pour se ressourcer après une journée d'exploration des environs pittoresques.
Le petit déjeuner est d'ailleurs une invitation au plaisir gustatif. Tout le monde y trouve son compte...pains au chocolat, croissants, pain frais de la boulangerie...un choix de confiture ...et puis du salé pour les autres papilles.
En somme, le Logis du Château à Josselin est bien plus qu'un simple hébergement, nous devenons le temps d'une nuit (ou plusieurs !!) le châtelain et la châtelaine. Un véritable havre de paix où vue, confort et hospitalité se rejoignent pour créer des souvenirs précieux.
PS: la literie est un véritable hâvre de douceur et de confort où il est facile de se perdre dans un sommeil réconfortant et réparateur.

Todo muy bien por el resto. La ubicación sobre todo, y la buena voluntad de entender el español.

Good location, very pleasant walk around. Very friendly welcome. The occupied room needs to be reviewed (113) peeling paint ++ in the bathroom, black and damaged joints in the bathtub, stained carpet, condensation +++ on the windows and air passage ++, little or no connection .to the internet and telephone network. The bedding is very good, firm, bottle of water provided appreciated.

very nice hotel opposite the castle. closed parking in front of the hotel 10m away. we were at ease immediately upon entering, helpful and competent staff, knowledgeable about their work, excellent choice of restaurant both in terms of the quality of the products and the choice offered, the same for breakfast. In short, I'm going back.

A hotel restaurant ideally located - opposite Josselin Castle, on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal - in a very quiet environment. Excellent value for money accommodation. The same goes for the restaurant which offers sought-after dishes.

The hotel is very good, the view of the castle is magnificent. The goal was to take walks during a weekend to visit this small town of Josselin. The problem was that it was very cold and after a walk in the rain, a nice hot shower would have been appreciated. You had to run the water for easily 5 minutes to get hot water. Facial cleaning, hands after toilet, shower morning or evening, our room did not have hot water quickly. For me, despite the nice hotel, I would not return there.

Excellent value for money with quality welcome and services.

Unforgettable hotel restaurant, with a magnificent view of the Josselin castle. The staff takes great care of us. The room was very comfortable with everything needed. Breakfast was very good, with some regional products and lots of savory or sweet choices. The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was a delight, from starters to dessert. A must.

We will come back without problem and I recommend it

The room is really worthy of a Formula 1. Single beds pushed together to make a double bed, hard and uncomfortable pillows, dirty carpet, plinths, shower tray, dirty and dilapidated pipes. Toilet bowl that falls on us when we sit down, automatic hallway light that works by itself, turning on and off. In short, only negative points. We didn't understand why we found ourselves in this room, especially since the hotel was not full... If this is the best "economical" room for a 3-star hotel, there is reason to be afraid . The cherry on top was the smell of filthy pipes that comes out of the sink when you brush your teeth. Too bad the setting is nice but without renovations, 70€ is expensive for a non-compliant room especially since it is not at all the one we had booked in the images...

We had to change rooms at more than 10 p.m. because the toilet was leaking, no one apologized in the morning, as if nothing had happened, the gentleman in the evening: very good

Excellent welcome for this 3-star hotel which has real qualities: professional and generous welcome, ok with a dog, a breathtaking view of the castle (room and breakfast), very decent sized rooms and free parking.

Very good value for money

Lovely old style French hotel. Very very comfortable bed, super traditional restaurant with good quality food and good service, plus very reasonably priced wine. We were welcomed by Frankie who was bright and helpful - an asset to the hotel. Free parking across the road. All good for a short stay.

Very disappointing stay overall. For years, I have chosen Logis for their quality of catering and comfort. This establishment, contrary to what is noted on the site, in no way deserves the title of gourmet restaurant or comfort hotel. The room had anything but recent cobwebs in the corners, dust in the corners, a magnificently holed curtain. The bathroom is very poorly arranged in addition to being old and impractical. The restaurant served us dishes of poor and uneven quality. 2 days in a row I ordered the same dish and the flavors were 1x good and 1x borderline overly seasoned and fries overcooked in oil that had certainly not been changed. Really difficult to digest. Dishes ordered that are not the right ones... in short, an experience that will not be repeated in this establishment even if it is offered to me. As there were still competent people in the service I must say that the receptionist was very helpful and competent, the same goes for the young lady who was in the room who kept a smile and was very professional despite the lack of staff and the ladies of the rooms very helpful too. Thank you to those who made our visit a little more pleasant.

A great stay in a very welcoming hotel. Great position, secure parking, friendly staff.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous surrounding. The gentleman on reception was exceptional at his job and really had a passion in doing so. He also spoke very good english which was a great help. All staff were very friendly and polite. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We were very pleased with our stay.

Great welcome and last minute efficiency since I had reserved 2 rooms through Booking but only 1 had been taken into account... At the reception, the lady at reception went out of her way to ensure that we did not we don't have to move elsewhere and I thank him again. Very very friendly staff, we had 2 large dogs who were also very well received. Thank you all, great memories of our stay in Josselin.

An excellent hotel in a great location. Lovely view of the chateau from our window, good service and a very good restaurant. We had reserved for 2 for dinner, but at the last minute, some friends asked if they could join us. Initially, the response was that they were full, but then made it possible to join 2 tables together and we had a lovely meal.
The only problem was the mosquitos at night…..we wanted to air the room, but the mozzies were the consequence!

Lovely location but could do with a bit of updating and attention to details in the room.

We arrived well before check in time and were surprised when we were granted the key to our room immediately,
Wonderful stay and great assistance when our motorcycle would not start on our departure, again staff worked to get us on the road as soon as possible.
We could not have asked for more.

The welcome was very good, the room comfortable, very good value for money!

The good adress! spacious room with a view of a superb castle, good bed, great shower...even a nice surprise at the restaurant. (Particularly sensitive to the speed of service...when you are alone it's a nice touch!) Up to the parking lot opposite very practical! All at a better than fair price compared to others!

Very good hotel I highly recommend

the location of the hotel is fantastic. we had an amazing view of the castle from our room. the rooms are cozy, very clean and well equipped. our evening meal was delicious and the breakfast buffet was well stocked and had plenty of choice. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel du Chateau, all down to the situation of the hotel on the canal that runs through the town, and opposite the dramatic and imposing chateau. The staff were welcoming and very friendly and the food served at the hotel was fabulous. We sat outside on the balcony for the evening meal and were delighted with the setting. The two rooms had good views even though on the opposite side from the chateau, but our carpet was in very poor condition and the rooms bathrooms required upgrading. However, everything was clean. The bar was great to use and had good choices with seating inside and outside. The hotel had its own car park, which was also hugely beneficial. Josselin itself is a delightful place and we’ll worth a stopover.

This is the poorest Logis that we have evewr stayed in. We booked it on the strength of the location and visuals on the website the hotel however turns out to be very dated reflecting the 1960's at best our room was very disappointing with a view over a profile sheet roof (not the chateau) and we experienced signifiant noise not only from the kitchen below but also adjoing rooms both vocal and toilet flushing. On arrival it was apparent that the recepcionist was more interested in answering the phone than dealing with arrivals, the decor leaves a lot ot be desired and what kind of hotel these days has stair and hallway lighting operating on a short term movement sensor reminiscent of student halls.

Perfect location, charming and attentive welcome, delicious meal and breakfast. We recommend this establishment, we were on a bike and there is a dedicated space in the shelter to store them. Thanks to the hoteliers. A couple on a bicycle.

very nice site, quiet and well located. Very correct bedding, but on the other hand we will come back when the bathrooms will be redone because ours was very old and smelly. As for the restaurant very good food. Hotel and restaurant staff: very welcoming.

Well located hotel with perfect parking. The staff are friendly. Positive points: The room was redone, the bedding very good, spotlessly clean, very good breakfast (variety and quality!), responsive and professional staff, very quiet and well insulated Negative points: size of the bathroom unsuitable (wc stuck between wall, shower and washbasin, you have to pass between the shower and the washbasin to reach the toilets, so if you are overweight, put your stomach in), sanibroyeur toilet that does not work every time, shower finishes not finished, slippery tray, very strong smell

We had a pleasant stay at this property. The staff is polite, friendly and warm thanks to them for their work and professionalism. The room is classic and clean. The bedding is very comfortable and the hotel is very quiet. We were a little more disappointed by the dilapidated state of the sanitary facilities, but we weren't there for that. We were able to wash up and noted that it was very clean, so the essentials are there. The location and the breakfast terrace at the foot of the castle ramparts is very pleasant. The buffet is good, quality and quantity. The decoration of the room is chivalrous and nice. If we return to stay in Josselin, we will return to this hotel without hesitation.

Easy access and ample parking. Comfort of the bedding perfect, but it was hot in the room and no fan. In the bathroom the timer sometimes went off too quickly and not possible to hang the shower head, 2 drawbacks.

The room dd a bit a little small

We stayed 3 nights in this independent hotel in room overlooking Chateau - fantastic at night when lit up.

However at the time of our stay of 3 nights there was a large coach party also staying and we were unable to book a table in the restaurant as up to staffing capacity. Perhaps we should have been told of this on arrival? We did eat at a Creperie just over the river and had super evening meal there each night, they had to squeeze us in as they were also busy. We found out on leaving the hotel that this restaurant is owned by the same person! We were offered underground secure parking for our two motorcycles as we have advance warning of this requirement.

Very nice location, we had a room facing the castle. The possibility of storing bicycles is a plus.

A fan in the room would be a nice addition.

Very good accommodation, service and welcome. Interesting and unusual "Formules" which showed a lot of ingenuity and thought by the chef.

Nonchalant welcome. Room on the floor very dirty, the bathroom (and suddenly the room too) smells very strongly of sewage. Also the bathroom light has no switch, it is supposed to work automatically. In fact it turns on by itself every 3 or 4 minutes throughout the night. As it has no door it lights up the room and we can't sleep.

Very good value. Hotel has lots of character, overlooking the chateau. Food was excellent. Highly recommend a stay.

Great midrange hotel, stunning location on Brest-Nantes Canal, but more importantly from my perspective, totally 🚴 friendly with secure storage and peace of mind.

Dirty bathroom, dust+++ radiator, mirror, furniture with hairs and toothpaste in the drawers, handles (windows, doors dirty +++) stained carpet++, room not ready when we arrived. The positive, impeccable bed as well as the bath linen. (I almost forgot, dirty cutlery during breakfast) this is not the first time I have stayed at this address, but this time it was really disappointing in terms of cleanliness.

A charming hotel-restaurant opposite the Château de Josselin, a pretty little medieval town in Brittany. Good buffet breakfast served in the large dining room with a view of the castle. Only downside, to park in the hotel car park, you must first ask reception for the barrier code to access it. It might be good to send this code as an SMS from 5:00 p.m., allowed arrival time.

Lack of maintenance in the bathroom, smell of sewage that invades the room… review the evacuation of waste water! Empty soap dispenser.

Very welcome, we appreciated the kindness and availability of the staff.

The hotel is perfect as a base for visiting Josselin and has wonderful views of the chateau. We used it for a one-night stay on our way to the ferry at Roscoff. The Hotel itself was very clean and tidy throughout. It felt a little tired in places, such as our bathroom bedroom where the bolster pillow covers were less than white, and did not match each other, which was really obvious and made them look a bit dirty against the rest of the white bedlinen, although I am sure they were not. In the bathroom, the sink unit was not firmly fixed and actually rocked if you leant upon it. We were, however, delighted to find a kettle with tea and coffee supplies in the bedroom. All of the staff we came into contact with were really friendly and helpful and could communicate in English which made up for our rather poor standard of French! Finally, the hotel car park is across the road from the hotel and requires a code to enter - best to obtain this from the hotel before you try to enter the car park. This hotel is definitely good value for money and we will be very happy to stay there again when we next visit Josselin. Thank you to all of the front of house and restaurant staff who looked after us so well.

Very nice quiet room. The main thing was there. Good breakfast. Hotel well located for going to the swimming pool or taking a walk around the lake.

Excellent hotel, very well located. Splendid view of the castle. Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable bedding, hearty breakfast and excellent restaurant. Only small remark, handles in the shower would be a plus to secure the elderly. Hence the 4 stars on the bathroom fittings.

The plates are nicely presented, the meals are good. Free parking is greatly appreciated. On the other hand, the rooms are dilapidated, the paint in the bathrooms is crumbling, they are very cramped!

Bad, old and dirty room (pigeon shit on windows and windowsills as well as hair in the bathroom). In the bathroom, the toilet drain pipe of the rooms above is not walled up but external and therefore, in addition to the annoying noise of the drains, the stench of the sewer also came out of the pipe. Stuff to call health services. Besides that my room was separated from another guest's room by a thin wooden panel. Obviously my room neighbor at 3 in the morning watched TV at very high volume because there was no voice limiter on the TVs. Hotel to be completely renovated. Luckily we only stayed one night. Too bad because the view of the castle is very nice and the staff is nice. All for 100 euros (room for 3 people) + 11 euros per person for breakfast. a robbery

Nice view of the castle, super comfortable beds and pillows too. But in case of heat like this last week, really too hot to sleep. Despite the windows open to make a draft at the end of the evening, we couldn't sleep because the room was so hot. No air conditioning or fan so what to do except make 1 air call. Otherwise the restaurant very well, friendly girls at the reception, at the bar too. And the snack bar on the castle side, impeccable and well shaded for the afternoon.

Bathroom is a little bit small; especially the shower cabin.

Brilliant location in our favourite town. Staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the cafe for drinks/snacks next to the canal was a bonus. Nice clean bedroom with great views of the Chateau and canal.

Very well located hotel. Very very welcome. The reception staff are very friendly and very helpful. The view of the castle from the room is top notch and it is quiet. A very good breakfast. The bathrooms should always be reviewed, in our room it was aging and unpleasant. In addition, the restaurant dishes are very good but the service also needs to be reviewed (30 minutes of waiting for our dessert and very visible tensions) Overall a good stay.

It was our first stay. Only downside the size of the bathroom!!!! But we did not know that there were several surfaces!!!! We will be more attentive during our next stay. All the staff are competent and friendly. And the cuisine is absolutely sublime. A big thank you to everyone

The reception is very correct, the staff is friendly. A little noisy on the "rooftops above the kitchens" side, but it was a Saturday night and there was a party going on in a surrounding bar. The room was very clean, the pillows too big, a sheet would have been welcome, in the hot weather this weekend from 07/9 to 10/2022 Nothing to say about the bathroom: very clean. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and we were very satisfied. Thanks to them.

The location is wonderful. Easy access to the free parking across the road. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We booked last minute, so only had a small room with a town view, but it was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent.

ESPECTACULAR,has dormido alguna vez con vistas a un castillo de cuento? No? Pues aquí lo puedes hacer .por lo demás la habitación correcta cómoda limpia con buena cama el baño un poco viejo pero limpio la gente de recepción super simpática y agradable intentan hablar en español y había una chica q lo hablaba cenamos en el restaurante y muy bien también yo recomiendo este hotel sin dudarlo y reserva habitación doble superior con vistas al castillo

Lovely hotel and staff. Easy access parking. Good food and quick service. Very nice dining and breakfast room. Varied and good breakfast. However room a bit noisy, we hear the movements in the neighboring rooms. Large and quite hard pillows.

Generally very good.
Our room was very spacious with lovely views.
The only downsides were the exceedingly slow lift, no milk for coffee and tea in bedroom, and bad wifi in room.

Attentive staff and a great environment

The evening stopover meal lacks choice and the rooms lack a cooling system (especially at this time). If not the comfort, the reception and the state of the hotel there is nothing to say.

I booked a room through booking.com with breakfast included and was charged for 2 breakfasts...

A pleasant evening stopover with a very rustic setting that fits perfectly with the view of the castle. A pleasant room with very good quality bedding. A very popular meal.

Only downside the slowness of the elevator, sanitary side no possibility of hanging towels, toilet bowl much too low (think of people with physical difficulties). I had reported that the seat did not stay in place; despite this remark nothing was done. It also lacks the bars to hang the towels. This is all about room 225

Lovely position opposite the chateau. The food was excellent we chose to eat here for two nights.

Bed size limit for two people, light that goes off every 3 minutes in the bathroom, bathroom too small, soundproofing not great, hot water problem for the shower, shower door does not close completely

Hotel that needs updating. Review the cleaning under the restaurant buffet furniture.

Problem with hot water. Phone not working. Duck parmentier served in the restaurant in the evening tasteless and served cold, the salad was poorly washed; We were refused to sit at the edge of the bay window for a better view of the castle when we were only two couples in the huge deserted room. Moreover, courteous staff.

We stayed for two nights and the hotel made the perfect base for our exploration of the beautiful Breton countryside and coast.

We have stayed at the hotel before several times the bedrooms have very much improved they are more modern the pillows and bolster pillow was not at all comfortable. The staff were very friendly we enjoyed to food and the location is magnificent. We have just sold our house in the area so would stay here again when in the area. The flush system in the toilet reminded me of Brittany Ferries efficient but a little noisy

Positive points: Well located with a nice view of the castle, good bedding, quiet room, breakfast with good products, friendly staff, private parking nearby and good value for money. Cons: Rooms without shutters letting in light, bathroom without door and noisy toilets (sanibroyeur).
