Dirty bathroom, dust+++ radiator, mirror, furniture with hairs and toothpaste in the drawers, handles (windows, doors dirty +++) stained carpet++, room not ready when we arrived. The positive, impeccable bed as well as the bath linen. (I almost forgot, dirty cutlery during breakfast) this is not the first time I have stayed at this address, but this time it was really disappointing in terms of cleanliness.

A charming hotel-restaurant opposite the Château de Josselin, a pretty little medieval town in Brittany. Good buffet breakfast served in the large dining room with a view of the castle. Only downside, to park in the hotel car park, you must first ask reception for the barrier code to access it. It might be good to send this code as an SMS from 5:00 p.m., allowed arrival time.

Lack of maintenance in the bathroom, smell of sewage that invades the room… review the evacuation of waste water! Empty soap dispenser.

Very welcome, we appreciated the kindness and availability of the staff.

The hotel is perfect as a base for visiting Josselin and has wonderful views of the chateau. We used it for a one-night stay on our way to the ferry at Roscoff. The Hotel itself was very clean and tidy throughout. It felt a little tired in places, such as our bathroom bedroom where the bolster pillow covers were less than white, and did not match each other, which was really obvious and made them look a bit dirty against the rest of the white bedlinen, although I am sure they were not. In the bathroom, the sink unit was not firmly fixed and actually rocked if you leant upon it. We were, however, delighted to find a kettle with tea and coffee supplies in the bedroom. All of the staff we came into contact with were really friendly and helpful and could communicate in English which made up for our rather poor standard of French! Finally, the hotel car park is across the road from the hotel and requires a code to enter - best to obtain this from the hotel before you try to enter the car park. This hotel is definitely good value for money and we will be very happy to stay there again when we next visit Josselin. Thank you to all of the front of house and restaurant staff who looked after us so well.

The plates are nicely presented, the meals are good. Free parking is greatly appreciated. On the other hand, the rooms are dilapidated, the paint in the bathrooms is crumbling, they are very cramped!

Bad, old and dirty room (pigeon shit on windows and windowsills as well as hair in the bathroom). In the bathroom, the toilet drain pipe of the rooms above is not walled up but external and therefore, in addition to the annoying noise of the drains, the stench of the sewer also came out of the pipe. Stuff to call health services. Besides that my room was separated from another guest's room by a thin wooden panel. Obviously my room neighbor at 3 in the morning watched TV at very high volume because there was no voice limiter on the TVs. Hotel to be completely renovated. Luckily we only stayed one night. Too bad because the view of the castle is very nice and the staff is nice. All for 100 euros (room for 3 people) + 11 euros per person for breakfast. a robbery

Nice view of the castle, super comfortable beds and pillows too. But in case of heat like this last week, really too hot to sleep. Despite the windows open to make a draft at the end of the evening, we couldn't sleep because the room was so hot. No air conditioning or fan so what to do except make 1 air call. Otherwise the restaurant very well, friendly girls at the reception, at the bar too. And the snack bar on the castle side, impeccable and well shaded for the afternoon.

The bathrooms should always be reviewed, in our room it was aging and unpleasant. The reception is very correct, the staff is friendly. A little noisy on the "rooftops above the kitchens" side, but it was a Saturday night and there was a party going on in a surrounding bar. The room was very clean, the pillows too big, a sheet would have been welcome, in the hot weather this weekend from 07/9 to 10/2022 Nothing to say about the bathroom: very clean. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and we were very satisfied. Thanks to them.

The location is wonderful. Easy access to the free parking across the road. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We booked last minute, so only had a small room with a town view, but it was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent.

Attentive staff and a great environment

The evening stopover meal lacks choice and the rooms lack a cooling system (especially at this time). If not the comfort, the reception and the state of the hotel there is nothing to say.

A pleasant evening stopover with a very rustic setting that fits perfectly with the view of the castle. A pleasant room with very good quality bedding. A very popular meal.

Only downside the slowness of the elevator, sanitary side no possibility of hanging towels, toilet bowl much too low (think of people with physical difficulties). I had reported that the seat did not stay in place; despite this remark nothing was done. It also lacks the bars to hang the towels. This is all about room 225

Problem with hot water. Phone not working. Duck parmentier served in the restaurant in the evening tasteless and served cold, the salad was poorly washed; We were refused to sit at the edge of the bay window for a better view of the castle when we were only two couples in the huge deserted room. Moreover, courteous staff.

We stayed for two nights and the hotel made the perfect base for our exploration of the beautiful Breton countryside and coast.

We have stayed at the hotel before several times the bedrooms have very much improved they are more modern the pillows and bolster pillow was not at all comfortable. The staff were very friendly we enjoyed to food and the location is magnificent. We have just sold our house in the area so would stay here again when in the area. The flush system in the toilet reminded me of Brittany Ferries efficient but a little noisy

Arrivée dans l’hôtel un samedi soir … non prévu pas de restauration, pas de personnel à l’arrivée, il faut avoir un code ?
Literie pas confortable , salle d’eau d’un autre siècle (minuterie pour lumière, porte qui ne ferme pas), rai de lumière entre le couloir et la chambre … on pensait avoir une vue sur le château, mais .. oh zut on avait pris une chambre économique sur Booking.com !!!! Réputé pour remplir les hôtels avec dispos … dommage pour nous

À peine la place de bouger dans la douche.
L'alarme à incendie s'est déclanché pendant la nuit à cause de la tempête.
À noter: aucun membre du personnel sur place après 22h. Ce qui est très embêtant en cas de problème.

L’accueil que l’on a eu à notre arrivée était excellente, la réceptionniste était tellement gentille et avait tout fait pour que nos chambres soit prête plus tôt, on a vraiment apprécié ! Plus toute les explications pour que l’on profite bien de nos séjours et le lendemain elle devait s’occuper de plein de choses mais elle était toujours au top pour son service! Je lui avait fait part des quelques soucis dans la chambre également qui ont été bien noté. Merci pour l’accueil, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

nous avions réservé une chambre pour deux personnes et surprise nous nous retrouvons dans une chambre single sans eau chaude .constatation faite par la direction de l'eau froide on nous dit:on va vous changer de chambre,chose faite et la nous trouvons une chambre double.
Bref,les gens ne sont pas tous honnête.pour vérifier mes dires:
-chambre 108:single
-chambre 134:double
Si nous revenons a Josselin qui est un petit village sympa,nous ne reviendrons pas a cet hôtel.

Hôtel très bien situé, chambre avec vue sur le château, bon accueil, bonne literie, propre, confortable, la possibilité de se faire un thé ou un café est appréciable. Je regrette, comme dans bon nombre d'hôtel la présence de moquette au sol, qui laisse les stigmates des précédents passages et n'est pas très hygiénique. La télé est un peu petite. Mais séjour parfait, bon rapport qualité-prix, on recommandera.

Nice hotel in a good location.

Hôtel idéalement situé en face du château de Josselin et disposant de toutes les commodités, y compris d'un local pour les vélos très appréciable. Personnel sympathique et efficace. Bar et restaurant très biens également. Bémols pour la literie (nos deux matelas étaient plus qu'en fin de vie) et l'insonorisation des chambres. La lumière de la salle de bain qui s'éteint au bout de 10 minutes n'est pas très pratique non plus.

Chambre globalement bien mais la literie n'est pas optimum avec un centre très creux. De plus la chambre est assez bruyante que cela soit le lit collé à la porte d'entrée, mais surtout des bruits que nous avons apparentés à la tuyauterie particulièrement réguliers et sourd.

Le personnel est très poli et serviable. Le plus gros point négatif pour moi est le bruit des autres clients vu le manque d'insonorisation entre les chambres.
Sinon, le service et la nourriture du restaurant sont très bien, quoiqu'un peu dispendieux.

Si l'emplacement et l'accueil m'ont satisfaite, je mets un zéro pointé pour ce qui est des nuisances sonores. Notre chambre étant située au 1er étage, au-dessus de la salle de restaurant, tous les bruits nous parvenaient, tard le soir et tôt le matin. Même d'une chambre à l'autre, du couloir, les bruits de portes, de chasses d'eau ont vraiment gâché le reste.
À savoir avant de réserver : préférer le 2ème étage...

Hôtel très bien situé face au château, nous avons séjourné en chambre familiale. Quelques désagréments dans la salle de bain, le responsable a pris le temps de résoudre le problème La chambre est grande, moquette au sol, le côté positif est la séparation avec la chambre enfant ( deux lits jumeau).
Le petit déjeuner fut copieux , sous forme de buffet, l’horaire est matinal de 8h à 9h30. L’accueil tant au téléphone qu’en réel manque un peu de convivialite. Le rapport qualité prix de cette chambre familial reste correct pour une nuit.

Tout était parfait. Le manque de clim est compensé en partie par un ventilateur d'appoint très silencieux. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre qu donne sur le château. Quelle belle vue et quelle tranquillité avec le canal. Très bonne literie.

emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal pour visiter Josselin, sa vieille ville et son château. Le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel est plus que correct et le personnel est aimable. La possibilité de garer son véhicule non loin est appréciable. La chambre était vraiment quelconque et petite pour le prix, mais le pire, c'est la salle de bain ! Comment font les gens de forte corpulence (impossible d'entrer dans la douche), de grande taille (impossible d'utiliser les WC dans se prendre le porte-serviettes), de petite taille (impossible de se voir dans le miroir) ??? Et c'est quoi, l'idée de sanibroyeurs ultra bruyants dans un hôtel ??? Et cette minuterie de 90 secondes dans la salle de bain ?? On n'a pas le temps de faire pipi, se raser ou se doucher en 90 secondes !!! Et celui qui a réglé le détecteur de mouvement pour la remettre en marche ne devait pas être assis sur les WC ou en train de se doucher !!! C'est honteux.

J'ai apprécié le décor de la salle à manger et la disponibilité et la grande gentillesse du personnel dans son ensemble.

Dommage qu'il soit si difficile d'avoir de l'eau chaude pour la douche !
Autrement, nous sommes très satisfaits de l'hotel.

Chambre confortable. Pas la vue sur le château comme espéré. Le repas du soir est une tuerie ! Rarement mangé un repas aussi bon. Le prix est très correct. Petit déjeuner complet. Personnel agréable.

Une superbe vue sur le Chateau de Josselin, notamment en terrasse pour manger, mais aussi une belle salle de restauration! La cuisine est savoureuse ;
Bref, une très bonne soirée étape!

Je regrette que la qualité du plateau-repas proposé en raison de la fermeture administrative du restaurant ait été très médiocre, malgré la disponibilité de la personne de l'accueil.
