To be honest, it's clear this is an older hotel, but with tasteful renovations and the best possible approach, it offers excellent value for money. The staff alone, with their professionalism and friendliness, makes you want to return. Well done to the team! Now, little by little, some aging features need addressing, such as the bathtub drains, window vents, and a few other minor details, but these aren't meant to be unkind. On the contrary, to retain staff, it's essential to provide them with the best possible working conditions.

Very good value for money, price for the room but worn carpet with dust. For the restaurant, inconsistency between the restaurant's website which advertises a 3-course menu on Friday evenings at €26.90 and the reality, since the waitress I asked about it told me that it was exclusively à la carte (false advertising?). So we had a main course and dessert and it was quite well cooked although not hot enough. Note not in favor of the service, we had an aperitif, our table neighbors too and, surprise, aperitif cakes for them and nothing for us.

Very nice hotel, not too far from the city center. Comfortable room and excellent value for money. Check-in possible at 2 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. the next day without any problem.

I came for a wedding. The latter was taking place at the Château de Vair. I initially chose your hotel because of its proximity to it. I absolutely did not regret my choice. I arrived on the night of Friday to Saturday. Being able to check in at any time was a real plus. The person who was there that evening was friendly. Overall, I had the impression that the employees were satisfied and it showed! The morning of the wedding, I was able to enjoy breakfast. It was clearly one of the best I have had so far. Special mention to the homemade apple/cinnamon compote. I went to enjoy the exhibitions at the Château d'Ancenis. It was easy to access from the hotel. The town seems to offer quite a few cultural activities. I will come back soon, but this time to take advantage of the cycle route. I will not hesitate to stop at your hotel again.

Very pleasant welcome, smiling staff. The aesthetics of the establishment are a little dated, however this is not disturbing because it is very well maintained. Very clean. The bedding suited us. An evening and a night spent in this hotel that ended our vacation in the best way. Warm welcome from all the staff particularly attentive to customer satisfaction, simple but very clean rooms, nothing was missing. The possibility of dining on site at the restaurant Les Bateliers is appreciated and we really enjoyed it. The cuisine is traditional and the presentation of the dishes very neat, here again the staff takes great care of its customers. The breakfast is generous and the choice is substantial, there is something for everyone! It is an address that we will not fail to recommend, it is obvious!

To improve. Room 12 is good for the price/quality ratio, but it would be appropriate to: replace a sink that has two chips. Change the carpet on the entire window-bed side, which is in very poor condition. Put up a more blackout curtain because there are no shutters? Build a 1m high wall on the road side to block out the noise because there is a lot of traffic from 6am onwards...

Very warm welcome. Professional staff, very good food in the restaurant. However, I have never seen such a dirty room, cobwebs, dust under the bed which was old in my opinion. It's a shame because the rest of the establishment is very good.

A slight disappointment this time. We had a room with disabled access. I know they're necessary, but the bathroom was really terrible: shower curtain, floor that floods with every shower, slippery floor, very high toilet.

Arrived to find restaurant closed on a Saturday
External appearance didn't reflect photos
We were offered charcuterie board and baked camembert which was pleasant.
Hotel is run down and in need of lick of paint, new bed linen and a toilet which looks new and clean
We stayed on a particularly hot night where the reception had air con but the rooms didn't. No fans available. So had an unpleasant sleepless night.
Didn't bother with breakfast... we could see all the cereals baking in the sun on windowsill throughout day.
Have a logis devotee for 30 years so can't understand how tjis hotel is accredited

Notre restaurant Les Bateliers est en effet ouvert du lundi midi au vendredi soir et nous proposons des formules "snacking" le samedi et dimanche pour permettre à tous nos clients de se restaurer sans ressortir si ils le souhaitent.
Vous mentionnez un hôtel délabré alors que les parties communes ont été refaites il y a peu, que nous sommes en plein ravalement de façade, d'où notre interrogation.
Notre établissement possède en effet des chambres climatisées et d'autres non, mais mettons à disposition des climatiseurs sur demande, n'hésitez pas à nous solliciter lors d'un prochain séjour.

Cycling holiday through Brittany, part of Normandy, and the Loire region with a friend. We left our car in the parking lot at no extra cost for two weeks. The ground-floor rooms have direct access to the outside, making them perfect for having our bikes close by.

Room very cramped, evening meal adequate but the chef has no idea how to prepare a fresh fruit salad ! It consisted of some tasteless apple pieces with 3 tiny pieces of tinned pamplemous! Awful. No tea / coffee facility in the room. Paper cups for water 😨

Dommage que le restaurant n'ait pas été ouvert. Même la recommandation qui nous a été faite, le restaurant n'était pas ouvert en raison de travaux de rénovation. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, tout comme l'amabilité du personnel.

Beautiful, quiet location. Friendly staff. Professional welcome. Generous breakfast. Spacious rooms. It's not dark enough to fall asleep and sleep. So, it's a bit tiring for athletes doing the Decathlon over two days. The curtains are thin.

This hotel is ideally located for travelers with cars, just minutes from Ancenis town center and with private parking. Comfortable room and excellent food.

Found on the internet as a stopover before Quiberon, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant, the breakfast and the room for a total of 127 E for 2 (dinner lamb mouse and cod back)

Very good reception, the rooms are clean and well appointed. The dinner was very good and the service was friendly. The only downside was the tired mattress. I recommend this hotel, access is easy and it is quiet.

The owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was fine and the beds very comfortable. The evening meal was good but unfortunately the chef was not there the second evening. They arranged some prepared food for us to eat in the restaurant, which was adequate but not what we had hoped for when we booked the hotel. The location of the hotel is convenient for travelers but it is rather noisy being on the corner of two busy roads.

Satisfactory establishment, well located with parking, decent breakfast. Clean room with a small defect, at reception already a musty smell which in my opinion reflects a bit of mold and humidity. But a relatively clean room nonetheless.
Evening stopover: delicious meal
Overall satisfied. No noise in the hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. One negative detail at breakfast: mold spots on the compote in a ramekin, which we had not noticed when we started it. We returned the ramekin to the receptionist, who apologized.
Good welcome, pleasant catering service although a little too fast, you have the impression of being dispatched. The breakfast buffet is very complete and diverse. The room is spacious but could do with some updating. The bathroom is functional but it would be nicer to replace the bathtub with a walk-in shower.
Very warm welcome Loire by bike! With good advice. It's a shame that the restaurant is closed on Friday evening because access to the nearby restaurant on foot is tricky (4 lanes with heavy traffic)

Friendly and sunny hotel. Simple room with good bedding and bathroom. My room has full access to the outside. Surrounded by a large plot of land that is very pleasant to walk through, and has a beautiful terrace. A fair price if it didn't include a dog supplement which I find exaggerated (knowing that I have to dirty more than my short-haired and non-destructive little one!), as well as the restaurant closed on weekends on the May Bridge. .

To work on the table dedicated to this purpose, it's very complicated, no room between the bed, the table and the free space! The shower is really very narrow, it's a shame! The wifi is not satisfactory!
Cet hôtel est propre, bien équipé, service assuré avec soin et sourire. Le restaurant est de qualité supérieure. La literie est de bon niveau. Les chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses. Le parking est proche et grand. L'hôtel est à l'écart mais facile d'accès. Pour le négatif, les chambres auraient besoin d'un rafraichissement, notamment le crépi au mur d'un autre âge et le mobilier qui, il me semble, était moderne en 1990. Ma télé ne fonctionnait pas. La douche nécessite un client d'1m65 maxi.
