Good hotel for few days stay
Very warm, professional, and welcoming. The hotel is well renovated and maintained.
I arrived at 21:00 because of troubles with my car. The restaurant was already closed! Not good.
The room, bed and bathroom were okay.
Also there was no breakfast buffet because there were to little people in the hotel. I could however get a plateau with my breakfast in my room. Not very pleasant.
There was nobody at the reception when I left my keycard. The evening before I already had to pay the bill.
As a regular at Logis de France hotels, I wouldn't choose this one for a future overnight stay, disappointed by the size of the rooms and especially the lack of soundproofing: between a snoring neighbor and another taking a shower, combined with the noise from the street outside the window, you can hear everything without a filter. My night was neither pleasant nor restful, despite the good quality of the bedding...

There was no one in reception when we arrived and the door was locked. There was a notice in French saying to press a buzzer but nothing happened when we did. There was no one at reception when we left the next morning either. As we got into our car, someone ran out to say we hadn’t paid the tourist tax 2 euros.As we were under time pressure to get a ferry, we had to phone and pay which was laborious because the hoteliers English was poor.
Having some one on duty might make this experience better!!!
To be avoided. Very small room, how to work properly with a very small desk and a small chair... Not to mention that 3/4 of the TV channels don't work. Very minimalist menu for the stopover evening (cold camembert cromesquis, overcooked poultry escalope (Normandy?) and cheese plate with 2 tiny pieces of pasty cheese which fortunately do not represent the delicious cheeses of Normandy...). I was not told that the stopover evening was starter + main course, I ordered starter + main course + cheese and in the morning when it came time to pay I was told that there was a supplement to pay. It was enough to simply warn, this looks like a scam... Why don't the stopover evenings at €120 have the right to the €25.90 menu??? The quality/price ratio is very poor, there are many cheaper and much better Logis in the region. Stop treating stopovers like idiots, you're happy for them to come and boost your turnover...
On arrival the hostess made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffe alongwith milk was provided. Our bikes were safely stored in the garage. Defintely would stay again.
A supposedly high-end room, but more expensive, so you can hear the elevator machinery constantly. Beyond that, you can clearly hear the neighbor's TV, who watches his program until 1 a.m. One thing is certain, I won't be back. Too bad, the food is good.
Centrally located hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room is clean and spacious, and the bathroom is excellent.
Perfect, friendly and efficient welcome, nice room, good restaurant, free parking very close, then a pretty town to visit. Traffic a little noisy on Saturday evening, but quiet at night.

We received a warm welcome from the outset by a friendly and extremely helpful team. This hotel is spotless, comfortable, tastefully decorated and good quality. Ideally placed for Vire centre and surrounding area.

Two trips to VIRE in September and two nights in this hotel 15 days apart. The easy parking is a plus. The hotel is a bit outdated which can be part of its charm. The cable TV is catastrophic, prefer TNT
Missing a hairdryer and a small refrigerator for drinks
Lack of shelf in the shower to place your shower gel or soap, hook to hang towels just above the toilet paper roll, it's not super practical. the same roll of toilet paper at shoulder level is not comfortable to use.
