Comfortable bed, good breakfast, accommodating as arrived at 23.45
Room was comfortable if plain. Reception was warm despite our late arrival. Nice to have option of good sized family room with 3 beds. Breakfast was tasty but some hot breakfast options would have been welcome.

A good stopping off place
We wanted to do a stopover on returning to Belgium after having spent 15 days in the south of France and I had read the reviews before booking this hotel and usually I do not take them too much into account but there unfortunately I noticed that there there was a lot of truth in everything I had read!!! The very unpleasant staff and reception at the reception, an arrogant student who knew absolutely nothing about politeness and a very unpleasant lady who also responded to the customer in a casual way with inappropriate remarks and a very questionable humor ... The room very basic but beautiful bathroom, on the other hand, deplorable bedding and a 140cm bed... Considering the reviews of the restaurant, we did not dare to eat there and apparently we did well! The other customers explained to us that everything would be frozen and of very poor quality! On the other hand, the very pleasant and clean swimming pool... The building and the surroundings very well maintained and the fairly typical setting we liked! We finally went to eat in the evening at the edge of the lake of the Eastern Forest at the Belvedere (magical place) and that made us forget the negative points explained above. The room was at 85€ and the breakfasts at 9€ per person, so the price was correct, however we had 2 small dogs and I think that the extra 20€ (10€/dog) is a bit excessive... We will return to this area but not in this hotel!!!
The hotel looks attractive but on our arrival the reception was empty and when we rang a bell a woman in an office shouted out that she was busy! After 5/6 minutes someone else arrived and was generally bored and unwelcoming. Bed v small and uncomfortable - bathroom was newly refurbished.
Location chosen for an overnight stay, easily accessible, lots of parking spaces, very good restaurant with down-to-earth, delicious food and friendly service. Despite giving the arrival time when booking and requesting a table reservation, we called on the day of arrival (we had problems understanding the French language).
What more can I say, this is not my first stay at the "Paris Bale" and I am always satisfied. Hats off also to the service in the restaurant and to the smiling waitress. Very easy dialogue.

Decent hotel but very dated in terms of the room. The value for money of the restaurant is bad and the friendliness is very average.
Rooms are bit outdated, but OK for the price. Evening meal in the restaurant was good. Breakfast was a very big disappointment. Absolutely not fresh, butter cakes seemed a few days old, even the corn flakes were already soft.

The worst hotel of my life Ditto for the restaurant: Jamals eat so badly. No airco in the room, nor a fridge - after the reception we did not see anyone from the staff.
