Delightful quirky hotel, with excellent food. The staff were very welcoming., and I would stay here again. We had rooms on the second floor, with no lift. The room was very comfortable. I would have given 5 stars, but there were a few quirks - limited lighting on the second set of stairs, no curtain at the bedroom window, and having booked inclusive gourmet stay, the initial bill presented duplicated the cost of dinner, although this was quickly and cheerfully rectified.

The room was comfortable, the walk-in shower huge, only the carpet was a little worn. We opted for the "Aunt Yvonne" menu (€58 + €5 supplement). Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were highly competent. Breakfast featured high-quality products.

Still wondering why we were given a bedroom right at the end of the second floor while the hotel was almost totally empty ! Breakfast was average too. We were told only 2 days before our stay that the restaurant was shut on Mondays. Had we known this long before our stay we would not have chosen this hotel.

The room is cozy and spacious, the bathroom is very comfortable, and the beds are comfortable with good duvets. The hotel receives a very good rating. In a house steeped in history, I had an excellent stay with very good culinary services and competent, motivated, available and pleasant staff. If I return to the region I will return with great pleasure even if it means making a (big) detour.

A great welcome and a very pleasant setting. The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. I absolutely do not regret having left the big hotel brands for this small, independent establishment. I will happily return during my next business trip.
A good overnight stay. Lovely well appointed room. A popular restaurant which was full. Very good meal although the dessert (praline tart) was difficult to eat as it was too sweet and sticky. Staff worked really hard and were very pleasant.

We felt very comfortable; the staff, dinner, breakfast, and room were all very good. We're used to sleeping in a 2x2 meter bed, which is why we're only giving it 4 stars. If we come back to this area, we'll definitely stay at the Hotel Tante Yvonne.

Although the rooms on the second floor deserve renovation, this establishment is recommended. Peaceful, airy environment, building that has "a soul" and in which one feels comfortable. Very welcoming, available, smiling staff. The quality of service is there. What can I say about the tasty cuisine with refined flavors!! Dinner on the terrace was a suspended moment! ...In short, a very pleasant stop on the way back. The main purpose of an hotel to our opinion is to accommodate a good sleep during the night. This was not possible due to the really high temperature in the bedroom on the second floor. There was just a fan, but this did not help at all and kept us awake for hours.
It's so unfortunate as the staff, the food, the location and the characteristic building with the nice terrace outside is really great. But the climate inside the building including in the bedroom and restaurant is not comfortable during the summer.

Room under the roof without air conditioning. The outside temperature had risen to 35 degrees, impossible to sleep in the room because it was so hot. An old column fan was in the room, but it made more noise than air. In addition, there was a smell in the room coming from the carpet. During checkout, the problem was raised with the person at reception, who is aware of the problem. Considering the price of the room, we were very disappointed. A coffee pod machine was available in the room but did not work.

Amenities in the room are low because the cable on the coffee machine and kettle were too short and could only be plugged in if put on the floor.
On the positive side the evening meal was excellent and the team was very attentive.
Ideally located for a stopover in the direction of the south or the mountains. Exceptional value for money whether in terms of accommodation, dinner and breakfast. The renovated rooms and bathroom are remarkable. The local dinner on the terrace is a great discovery of this gastronomy from the chef with white toques initiated by Bocuse. Bravo to the whole team who will satisfy you and all this thanks to Aunt Yvonne's family. Improve the freshness of the room in periods of strong heat. Improve the offer of fried eggs at breakfast, I understood a little late that you could use the stove pan to cook them yourself. I would have preferred that they were offered to me.
We highly recommend this hotel and restaurant; they offer a welcome unlike any other in France. A big thank you to Dimitri, who is exceptional.
The welcome and staff were very friendly and professional. The food was excellent, with a wide selection at breakfast (high quality and much appreciated). It's a shame that there's no air conditioning in the rooms and no towel racks in the bathroom during this hot weather. A small bottle of water in the rooms would also have been appreciated.

Logis Hôtel Tante Yvonne is a charming, comfortable, clean, and pleasant establishment. We had a good room, very well equipped and well stocked with bath towels and toiletries. We slept very well there, in peace and quiet. The room has a good quality flat-screen TV, which works very well. There is also an espresso coffee maker as well as some coffee capsules and sugar. There is also everything you need to make tea.

Upper room not on the same level as the 1st floor
We had a very pleasant evening but due to a misunderstanding in the evening when taking the dinner order with Mr Chemarin junior; Mr Bernard Chemarin came at 8am in the breakfast room; in front of all the customers he made a scene and without us being able to discuss a problem with a supplement. This gentleman was very excited: full of himself and lacked manners with his customers. The establishment was supposed to call me back around 5pm to understand what had happened and it was me who had to call back. This gentleman ruined our stay.
We left the hotel, there was no reception. Upon arrival we found our key on a key board. Apparently because it was May 1st there was no service provided. The reserved parking was also not available. We booked 2 menus in the hotel restaurant, but because it was May 1st there was no one working in the kitchen. There was no other choice for us than to leave and look for accommodation more towards the city of Lyon to stay overnight and have dinner. It is inappropriate to accept bookings knowing that no service can be provided. We will never come here again and will not recommend it to anyone.
