Very warm welcome, clean room, perfect breakfast
For a 4-star hotel (and I do mean 4-star), I was surprised that they didn't even try to find an available room for me upon my arrival (after 1 p.m.), especially since I had emailed them to say it would be a very appreciated gesture. Many other, much lower-rated hotels always make the effort to check which rooms have been cleaned earlier, and we know that rooms are available well in advance... I found this completely unwelcoming, and the tone of the conversation was equally unwelcoming. In fact, I considered canceling my reservation and going to the 2-star Ibis next door. The room was adequate, but I found a torn elastic band from my orthodontic appliance under the table; clearly, the vacuuming hadn't been done properly (my mother worked as a hotel chambermaid for several years, so I know what proper hotel cleaning is all about). The front door caught on the carpet... And as for the Wi-Fi, it was a lie—it didn't exist! And at breakfast, no salt on the table... In short, for a 4-star hotel at €145 a night, VERY disappointing!
We highly recommend this hotel! The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming! We arrived too late to enjoy the wellness area, but we will gladly return!
Hello The welcome and the staff were very good But the hotel is aging... We have been coming for years and the observation is there: aging rooms, non-functional jacuzzi (cold water), dust not removed from the walls...
Breakfast not optimal, dark to arrive in the room.
Everything was perfect and having worked in this environment I have this professional fault of seeing everything that is not necessary and there nothing at all. 😀 Besides, we have booked for our next appointment at the hospital
I was charged a price that did not correspond to my reservation. Being in a hurry, I gave in, and I am now waiting for compensation. This is the only point that leads me to put this negative point.
Paid parking, overpriced breakfast and very little liquid soap in the shower.
Only one night spent but pleasant, spacious and comfortable room
For this room price, you expect the internet to work (online meetings aren't possible) and the toilet paper to be off the floor because there's no toilet paper holder. The reception was very good. The breakfast service (clearing used plates) could have been improved. The breakfast itself was okay, and the spa area was nice and clean.

When I made my reservation, I reported 2 points that were not taken into account! Room with 2 beds if possible Arrival at 2 p.m. Having not received any comments on these 2 points of your validation for the reservation, I thought that these requests were recorded, but this was not the case. I can understand the non-possibility... not the absence of a negative response!
Prima hotel, dicht bij het centrum, rustig, mooie kamers.
The most positive points are the soundproofing of the room and the spa area. We did not try the breakfast. For the rest... as soon as we arrived we felt like we were disturbing people by asking how to get to the room even though it is not necessarily easy to find. The light in the staircase was quite dim, so my friend fell twice but fortunately without causing any damage. And surprisingly, once we arrived in the room there was a trace of urine under the toilet seat as well as the shower drain full of hair. My friend and I have worked in a hospital environment and understand that it is not easy to think of everything with a heavy workload, but we still expect a minimum (toilet). A bit of a shame for the price.

A warm and friendly welcome. We were very well received despite the late hour. The staff is kind and helpful. Nothing to complain about, thank you for your welcome. If you are wondering what to do or eat, the staff will be happy to answer you and give you good addresses. As for the room, it is perfect and quiet, the bedding is good quality, the bathroom and toilet are clean, a beautiful space, we had a room with a terrace overlooking the very pleasant swimming pool. I think everyone will find what they are looking for at breakfast, between cereals, pancakes, crepes, fruit and various cold meats and types of bread, you should find what you are looking for.
Friendly welcome. Room quite large and well soundproofed, but with dull decor, between grays and browns; faded gray-brown carpet. View of parking lot and HLM courtyard. Balcony quite large, with mini-table and chairs, but exposed to the rain on the 3rd floor, and without a privacy screen to protect from all the neighboring balconies. Good bedding, but very heavy and uncomfortable chairs (metal backs). Rheumatists should abstain... The bathroom is quite large, with a functional towel warmer, unfortunately it only has one sink, without a watertight plug to close it, so you have to leave the water running to shave or wash. The shower is functional but lets water leak at its base, which floods the bathroom tiles. The staff, apparently understanding, does not know what to do (no silicone seal?!), so it is up to the customer to mop up morning and evening... Coffee machine not working, replaced by another on request, but then it is the capsules that do not work (because expired?). The staff there too is powerless, or even absent: there does not seem to be an overall manager responsible on site... Moreover, the small tea bag dispenser, already very poor, is never refilled during the stay. You have to buy your tea, coffee and sugar outside... Appalling stinginess. "Relaxation area": a gym well stocked with instruments of torture, but quite useless, most of the time empty of users. Spa OK. Outdoor pool large enough but not heated, and it is 18° on August 2, 2025.... Standard breakfast buffet, but too expensive (18€), and it is a waste when you are used to only having a tea and a croissant and a half. Should the customer gorge themselves every morning if they want to get value for their money? Don't they have the freedom to eat less? Especially since they can't rely on the in-room amenities (see above). In short, we're more in a standard 2-star than a real 4-star, with fairly good basics (perhaps) but clearly insufficient customer service and neglected practical details. Is the chain stingy? Lack of staff training? Running a hotel is a human activity; it doesn't boil down to managing flows and cashing up.
Excellent establishment for a stay in Besançon, allowing you to relax and unwind after busy days.
The hotel is pleasant, new and the staff absolutely charming. The only downside: at breakfast the only employee present was a little overwhelmed, hence no more sausages, scrambled eggs and potatoes at 9:30 am while breakfast lasts until 11 am on Sunday.

Great hotel! We had a very pleasant weekend with friends. It's located close to a train station and public transport, which allowed us to reach the city center in 5 minutes. The room, pool, and wellness area are clean and well-maintained. A very warm welcome.
Mixed review. The staff were attentive, the breakfast was exceptional, the spa very pleasant, but you can tell it's a hotel in recovery where several small things weren't working - room not cleaned thoroughly every day, dirty cups not changed, no toilet paper dispenser but the rolls simply placed on the toilet bin, etc. It's a shame because the place and the rooms are beautiful (proximity agreement for purists!).
Upon arrival, we were told that the hotel was far from full. When it came time to check in, we were not told that the room was reserved for disabled people. We asked if possible to change to a regular bathroom, but this time there were no more rooms available. We found ourselves downgraded to a room. In the morning, breakfast was absolutely no longer served, and we had to look for cups in the cupboards ourselves.

An excellent hotel, right next to the train station, yet quiet. The room was very good, the bed was excellent, and the bathroom was spacious and extremely comfortable. The motion detector in the toilet was a bit odd, though. The breakfast buffet was also very good, the bar and outdoor area were also good, and the pool was fantastic.

We spent two very pleasant nights. Comfortable and quiet rooms overlooking the garden. Clean pool, good sports facilities. Etna 3 restaurant and Samurai Sushi are just a stone's throw away, and they are excellent. Less than 10 minutes' walk to the historic center via the magnificent Parc du Glacis.

Very good experience and very professional staff. The only downside: the air conditioning was not working and it was not possible to repair it or at least to keep us informed of the impossibility of repairing it.
Excellent reception. Excellent bedding. Very limited toilet paper supply. The sliding doors to the bathroom and toilet did not close. The breakfast baguette was not fresh, and there was no other choice of bread except croissants and cakes. The fruit salad was unappealing. The breakfast selection was varied but the presentation was unappetizing. The coffee had no flavor or foam, not worthy of a 4-star hotel.

Never anyone at reception, labor room: heating turned on when labor began, 2 hours to get hot. Labor room amenities not heated. No light in the outside access of the labor room to access the hotel!

Hello, I find that there is a serious lack of warmth in terms of reception. It is cold and impersonal. At breakfast, there is no one to welcome you, to say hello. For a 4 star hotel, I find it disappointing and expensive for the price.

I checked "negative" for equipment because the ventilation system in room 7 (225 euros!) was making such a racket that I couldn't sleep at night, the day after I was moved to another room (223); according to comments on sites about your hotel this problem seems to be recurring...

Great staff, nice rooms. But the toilet seat should have been replaced because it is damaged (room 124) and we booked the hotel with a swimming pool and found out at checkin that it costs 30 Euro per day/per couple to use it. This is wrong.
A real haven of peace in the heart of Besancon, close to all amenities. Very quiet, beautiful room and hearty breakfast with local products. All the staff are smiling, pleasant and good advice. We will come back for sure. And the best part is the parking.

The welcoming was not great. It started when the receptionist ask me to pay extra for staying at the hotel. When i asked where to eat i got a list for 10 restaurants and a map to search for them. The restaurant of the hotel was closed, no bar.
Then we got to the room which was dark and very warm. Airco was not working well so we had to open the windows, result we got mosquitos inside. There were no drinks in the room as a welcome, which i find normal for a 4 star hotel. In the whole ceiling there were holes and also in the wall of the bathroom. The breakfast was ok.
Overall we had very bad experience!
Our first room had a clogged water sink in the shower and the replacement romm was tiny and equipped for single use. Any albeit token diacount was ruled out, bc no “reaponsible” persons was available or could be contacted

Very good first experience, hotel well located, very cozy, very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice surprise in terms of the SPA wellness and swimming pool area that was offered to us. We really appreciated having parking for a hotel located in the city center. We just missed the air conditioning being turned off at this time.

Good comfort, location and atmosphere.
It would be good to warn the guests that before 3:00 pm the hotel doors are closed; if they arrive earlier, they will wait outside the hotel.
The markings of the direction in the parking is one way, placed on the cement. If raining, it will not be visible, unless properly explained.
The gym would need a bit of upgrade, there were no mats, no weights.
The price of the rooms is too high compared to the service. I think we pay for the spa but it is not open on Sunday afternoon at noon and on Monday morning only the jacuzzi are available. In addition, on weekends you have to pay extra to have the spa. Breakfast is OK but extremely expensive for what it is. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and accommodating in letting us leave our bag for the day of departure. I don't recommend this hotel any more than Ibis or Mercury which offer the same service for much less money.
First and foremost, we were not satisfied with the hygiene in our sanitary area. The floor in the toilet was not clean.

We have stayed in this hotel before and we like the secure parking, convenient location and large rooms. The furnishing style is rather austere and the seating rather uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast is nice but does not cater for allergies and I had to bring my own cereal and bread. The garden facilities are very nice.

The welcome started well but not enough information on the hotel's services: Wifi, SPA, access. Complicated to find your way around the hotel. I arrived late and was surprised to see a man come into my room at 11:00 p.m. (see camera). Please note that my room is locked. I stayed 2 nights and another person came the first morning (a woman this time). It was 11:00 a.m. and it was time for cleaning (why not). When I got home, around 6:00 p.m., another person came into my room, once again the door was locked. In the evening, I go to the SPA and gym, no one at reception or at the SPA. No towel, bathrobe, no indication. Empty cupboards where the towels should have been. I go back to my room to grab a towel from the bathroom. I was only told at the start that the large towels for the SPA are in the wardrobe in my room (something which is not indicated anywhere - even on the leaflet). The delicious news is that on the day of my departure, this Friday morning, a woman (another news that I had not seen) enters my room before 8:00 in the morning, while I am sleeping. Each of these people enter, then leave when they see me. The door is ALWAYS locked. I can't go back to sleep because I'm afraid someone will come in again. I decide to contact the receptionist, a woman who laughs in my face and clearly tells me that it is impossible that 4 or 5 people have entered my room. The conversation deteriorates sharply because it makes me understand that I am lying. So I have no confidence and trust in this hotel. I do not recommend this establishment. I'm still happy not to have been naked in the room when all his people came in without knocking at all hours of the day and night. Besides, I don't know who they are. I would still like to highlight the kindness of a member of staff (a man) who was very helpful and professional, this is not the case for the other members of reception.
