Quiet and clean
To be better received would be to abuse
Arriving late with the storm, I had a very warm and friendly welcome. The menu (starter, main course, dessert) was served to me despite the time. The staff were very friendly, smiling and professional. The local cuisine was very good. Very pleasant, clean room, very good bedding, functional and clean bathroom. Large free parking lot. Breakfast of choice and fresh products. A restaurant with modern decoration, rather Nordic atmosphere, very trendy, very pleasant. I hesitated to book this hotel because of negative comments and finally, I did well to stay there to be able to judge for myself. Some comments indicated that to get to the hotel, you had to cross the road. Indeed, but it is a small country road, barely 4 meters to cross and the parking lot is located where the rooms are. So very easy for accessibility and dropping off luggage. To answer these people, I point out that at Georges Blanc (3 Michelin stars), only a few privileged people have access to the rooms located in the restaurant building, for other customers, the rooms are also located opposite and there, you have to cross a square (and not a street !!) and this does not trigger any negative comments. In addition, I draw your attention to the fact that the price of the rooms is more than correct. It is a well-kept family hotel, relaxing where you can find a good table, nowadays, you have to support them because it must not be easy every day for them. I will not hesitate to return to this hotel. I hope that my testimony will convince other professional travelers (like me) and / or tourists to stop at this hotel.
Awful! No one at the hotel when we arrived, water pouring through reception ceiling soaked the Logis catalogue I was trying to use to get a phone number for the hotel to raise someone. A passer bye managed to phone for me, when someone appeared they had no knowledge of my booking but then found it, the restaurant was closed. The bathroom had no sink plug, no shower curtain, do I need to continue. A wet night munching homemade sandwiches!

I don't know if the other rooms are the same but No. 9 is very disappointing. However, this one was clean, poor soundproofing.
Room very poorly insulated against noise from neighbors, WIFI impossible to connect, 2 single beds for a one-person stopover. Simple meal.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of the location of the hotel and a very friendly (Moldovan) member of the dining room staff.
However, on arrival, we waited 20 minutes (including ringing doorbell and phoning), only eventually to discover that reception was in another building (a note on the now redundant reception in the hotel building would help). The lady on reception was quite perfunctory (language may have been a problem) on sending us to our room. I had to return to reception to confirm that we hadn't been given correct type of room and then we had to move. On check out, we had been overcharged for the evening meal. Same female member of staff who didn't apologise on either occasion but did rectify the situation.
In contrast the (Moldovan) waiter was very friendly and attentive to our requests in the restaurant.
The room was adequate because it was in great need of refurbishment, as were most of the hotel areas - the restaurant was smart - a shame because great potential in the site and facilities to be a fabulous hotel.
I booked this hotel for a short stay in the Dombes. Unfortunately if I had followed the reviews posted on the site, I would not have done it. The rooms have been renovated and very comfortable, as for the catering we were very pleasantly served.

Very friendly welcome. The room has been renovated. The mattress is super comfortable. Very quiet hotel. Well located. Our stay was short but it is a good memory.
We booked online. Arriving on site with our reservation number and the confirmation email, we were told that we were not listed in the database. The hostess was very annoyed and we can understand. A system to obviously review! Luckily there was still a room left to accommodate us. The latter was quite basic and outdated. We made do with it... The catering is of an excellent level! The place is pretty and the cuisine refined. This to compensate for that. We should still think about refreshing these impersonal rooms. Peeling wallpaper, holes from an old TV hanging that weren't filled, a slippery bathtub without a curtain or shower screen. Our stay was good in terms of taste but unsatisfactory in terms of sleep. I forgot! The mattress is curved on one side of the bed...
Very quiet environment, friendly welcome, lovely comfortable room.
The services offered on the site and in reality unfortunately differ... We had reserved a room with a king size bed (for €15 more...zig...) and a sweet/savoury breakfast with local products. Our room had a 140 bed. When we indicated this at reception, we were told that there were no others... The next day, we asked to pay only for the service of base, we got lost in explanations saying that the price was due to the renovation of the bathroom... We finally won our case, after being yelled at... Which is not said in the ad, is that if you want to eat savory food for breakfast, you will need to reserve the day before (which can be understood to avoid waste), for an additional charge for each item ordered... The The choice of sweets wasn't bad, but nothing homemade or local except the bread... Very disappointed with our stay, we won't come back...

It's a charming stopover, with a nice restaurant.
Unpretentious hotel but in line with my expectations for a 2*. In the short evening to take a plane, it is recommended, close to the airport and much cheaper than hotels directly on site. The restaurant is expensive, however.
The evening stopover rooms are dated, the bedspread and pillows need to be changed, the kettle needs to be thrown away. dilapidated bathroom with bathtub, really not practical. The price is high. Decent restaurant, be careful not to salt your dishes too much. Satisfying breakfast

There is a bit of a lack of human warmth in this hotel.
Bad reception, hotel was on the other side of the road. No lights outside nor inside. Impossible to find the room. Reception should show the room and explain. Also the lights should be working. Never again. We've had many hotels of Logis, this was the worst.
We spend a lot of evenings there. we are placed in the restaurant room opposite each other on different tables. No atmosphere in this room. no music; no TV; not even a little aperitif. We order a beer to relax before eating, no accompaniment. The dishes arrive in monastery silence. >There is no life in this dining room. Fortunately the dishes are good and there is quality on the plates. in my room no comfort, lack of electrical outlet to the office to be able to work, no heating in the bathroom; and I'm not talking about sound insulation between rooms either....
Overall good, elegant restaurant. Arch in the outbuilding, which shows its age inside. Rich breakfast, there are even rusks.

Quality of welcome to be highlighted Very well maintained and very pleasant hotel, very nice decoration and delicious catering. The rooms are pleasant and very quiet, but deserve a little refreshment, but we feel very good there. The only problem I would point out is the lack of a shower screen or curtain which causes the bathroom to flood a little.
Quietly located hotel in the countryside with a very good restaurant. Just a shame that it doesn't offer à la carte dishes in the evening, a full menu being a little too abundant before going to sleep. But very well prepared and tasty dishes. A big congratulations for the children's meal, who were not offered the eternal nuggets/fries or minced steak/fries, but fish which they really appreciated. The breakfast was very good and varied, with real jams, so there was something for everyone.

Hotel fans a quiet environment with beautiful outdoor terrace and beautiful dining room. Small negative point the rooms a little decoded, but good bedding, and average breakfast only sweet, 0 salty. The little extra: a balcony and drinks on the menu.

Online reservation. On arrival around 5:30 p.m., no one at reception, the keys were available in an envelope on the counter. The next morning, still no one. We had breakfast, very decent, and left without seeing a member of the hotel. Clean room but rather lacking in maintenance.
Come during the heat wave the air conditioning would have been appreciable, in normal times perhaps less useful.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. We really appreciated the room with a modern bathroom, with a plus, the toilets are separate. We had a balcony. The hotel is very well decorated with taste. The staff is so friendly that it feels like "At Home"
We picked the hotel for location and because it had a restaurant, However, after receiving our booking confirmation which was on a non refundable basis, we then received an email from the hotel stating the restaurant was closed on a Sunday. We got round this by stopping in Sainte Quintin for lunch.
It was a long journey due to the lunch stop and problems with Le Shuttle so after checking into our room we walked over the road to the hotels restaurant to see if we could get a drink,
Although everything was closed, the young lady we spoke to couldn’t have been more accommodating, I would give her a five star rating! She went to the kitchen and gave us a selection of cheeses and we paid for a bottle of rose, The restaurant has amazing selection of natural wood and art. Overall the place is tired looking and could really do with updating. One thing to really consider is there is no air conditioning which in the warm weather is a must as the rooms are not large and musty. I’m not sure I would stay again
Hotel has a tired appearance, it has had its time and now needs modernisation & refreshing.
The room had no air conditioning or even a fan; whilst this was as advertised it resulted in 2 nights of little sleep. The staff did provided a fan on asking, although it didn't provide much air circulation.
The bathroom had a hand shower attachment, no curtain, so keeping the floor dry was impossible. The cistern leaked, leaving a pool of water to stand in.
The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful, although our breakfast had to be moved to another room as a wedding party had pre-booked the breakfast room. A bit of a heads-up would have been good.

Rooms dated and in more than questionable condition, although a quick lick of paint and two ikea paintings appeared to be part of a "recent" maintenance to "save face" There was mold in one corner from the ceiling of the room, the soundproofing is very bad, bathroom whose wallpaper is peeling off in several places and whose makeshift repairs, are pitiful in a hotel in FRANCE and not in the third world!!! Disgusting shower head and so on, you feel in an establishment that tinkers to make the least REAL expenses possible, which survives ...... Far too expensive for what it is, or else you have to do a minimum of work if you want to be up to par in the hotel part... I find the breakfast a bit too expensive given the lack of variety of products and their quality...

Beautiful place surrounded by magnificent trees, very friendly welcome, clean room, comfortable bedding (decor in its own juice but everything is clean, water and coffee in the room). The restaurant opposite is a very good table. Only downside and not the least, the breakfast at 14€ with only yogurt croissant cereal bread. I think a little cheese and a few slices of ham would have given this place a 10/10. Salty in the morning is available for between 4 and 7 €.... I think this is not correct. But the place is great, the people welcoming so it's worth a stop
Beautiful geographical location, very quiet. The room well located, too bad because badly soundproofed living opposite the common hallway. The memory foam mattress, not at all comfortable, my husband ended the night on 1 blanket on the ground. The restaurant is very good, we enjoyed everything
On the "LOGIS" site I had selected a comfort double room mainly for the 1.60m bed; however, the bed was only 1.40m. Obviously, we realize this once installed. the exchange with the staff on the subject. Less amusing: the intermittent noise of a machine (pump?) nearby, which several times woke up my light-sleeping wife. Disconnecting during the night would be welcome. Regarding the evening meal: a pity not to have been able to dine simply à la carte because a rich and tasty menu was long and slow to digest by gourmets of a certain age… For the rest: see the stars!

We had booked a great comfort room with a Queen bed on the website which was noted on the advertisement with an attractive photo when booking, in reality the room was dated we ended up with a 140 bed, the bathroom also with materials cheap, no dividing door between the bedroom and the bathroom, just a hideous curtain. The customer's choice when booking is not respected, on the other hand, when going to the checkout, the full price is paid, very disappointed we will not set foot there again and will not recommend it..

The quality of the services does not correspond to the price: very poor bathroom (mold in the bathtub, absence of curtain or protective wall on the bathtub, sink faucet broken).
Simple hotel but perfect comfort: good bedding, clean room, well-equipped bathroom. On occasion, review the width of the shower wall (we put water everywhere) and screw up some utensils (the toilet paper dispenser in particular). But overall a nice place for an unbeatable price. The breakfast is quite correct.
