Overall the accommodation is quite good, however the catering needs to be reviewed and does not correspond to the stated claims of a master restaurateur.
This hotel is very well located and the welcome is perfect.
Wonderful location, amazing welcome from lovely 7th generation owner, Julie, and all her staff. Food exceptional, if a little expensive for dinner, all beautifully prepared, with a good choice at the breakfast table (except for my gluten-free companion).

Only complaint for two old ladies: climbing up two floors to the bedrooms with no lift - but then the beds and bedding were super-comfortable after we made it up all the stairs!
A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The establishment was clean, in good condition, and the welcome was warm. The restaurant is excellent, and I received good recommendations. Only the soundproofing was adequate, but nothing special.
