Very good overall service. This hotel is located in a town that has been awarded the Villages-Etapes label. This establishment fits well with the brand, a strong point for the town.
Just had a great night and dinner, beautiful room, and lovely helpful staff. Dinner was superb, and the hotel is one of the best of the many Logis hotels I have used over the last 15 years, travelling to and from Spain around 3 times a year. Thank you Saint Jacques and all the staff! We will see you again!

What a lovely location for a hotel. Hotel its self was great. A good hotel for an overnight stop over or somewhere to spend a days exploring the area.
The only issue was our arrival we were left to fend for ourselves a bit.
It was the Sunday before Bastille Day. We already knew the restruant was not open and planned to find something in the village.
But, by the time we arrived it was about 6:30pm, and we found the door to the hotel reception locked, which was a little concerning. There was a bell we could ring, which appeared to call someone. It was answered by someone who gave us a door code to get in, and our key to the room was at reception.
A little unusual and unexpected, but it was a Sunday before Bastille Day and once we got into the hotel everything was great. Room was fine,
TO be fair it did say on the hotel booking to ring the hotel if arriving after 18:00, though I did not take that in at the time.
The local Supermarche have a good selection of local wine and supplies, we found an excellent takeaway Pizza from up the road (recommended).
Recommended and would stop there again.

Het ontbijt was vrij sober. Sfeer, gezelligheid en hartelijkheid ontbrak. Goed voor 1 nacht, wij voelden ons er niet echt welkom.

Booked for our last evening in France following a week of touring. Selected on the basis of the Gourmand restaurant. We are informed, 12 hours before arrival, that the restaurant is closed for the holidays and that reception will be unattended. At this time, it is too late to cancel without losing the total cost of the stay. At no stage during the booking process were we informed that the restaurant was closed. A bad end to our delightful holiday saved only by the superb couscous at the nearby hotel Au Coin!

Special mention on the restoration after the flood of October 11: congratulations for the work, if I had not been told, I would not have noticed. I liked the dinner, "bistro" type. Honestly, I will come back. Good luck!
My rating reflects 2 things: - a non-confit duck confit (so not soft at all) that I should have sent back, and, that day a large wedding table in the next room that gave a really loud ambient noise. I was far from the quiet hotel that I had hoped for... On the positive side, very good welcome and service.

A clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Booked on the fact that it had an impressive in-house restaurant. After booking were asked if we wanted breakfast and dinner to which we replied yes to both. The hotel’s response was that the restaurant was closed for our (already confirmed) date. Why ask then? Had we been advised when booking that an evening meal would not be possible, we would not have booked this hotel.

A lovely hotel situated in the centre of Cloyes-sur-loir. Ideal centre for water sports, walking and cycling.

The hotel has plenty of character. Many of the original features of the old building remain, but the interior is modern, spotless and nicely decorated. The garden stretching down to the river Loir is delightful with several wonderful mature trees.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed and separate toilet and bathroom. The shower was good, but had to be hand held. No kettle provided, so English guest should bring their own travel kettle!
The restaurant and evening meal were outstanding. One of the best restaurant meals we have had in France
