This is a good hotel providing comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. But it has an absolutely outstanding restaurant. The meal and service reminded us of the very best of French cuisine and service from times past. The restaurant is a real gem.
Room 1 is really not up to the standard of this hotel, which is in its part in front of the brasserie very very good! Room 1: remote control HS, bedding from another age! ultra noisy refrigerator! In short……

Located right in the center of the city. Very convenient. However, no air conditioning in the room. So we had to choose between the heat or the noise from the street... At breakfast, two buses arrived and staff were immediately overwhelmed. Damage.

Totally inexperienced room staff. Knowing nothing about the wine list, three mistakes in a few minutes. The cuisine isn't the best, flank steak with shallots, I'm still looking for them. Barely basic Tagliatelle Bolognese. Professional welcome on arrival and departure and worry-free room.
A good hotel, within easy reach off the A4 motorway. The hotel has been modernised some what since our last stay many years ago! It was a pleasant surprise.

A very nice hotel with a good bistro and restaurant. The breakfast isaas basic continental. Disappointed by the lack of muesli. When the croissants were gone one they are gone. Friendly staff. The one issue I had is the lack of hotel car parking. The car had to be parked in the town square diagonally opposite from the hotel. It's free but I was concerned by the lack of security.

The room was nice and spacious and modern. We were on the street side and unfortunately there was a lot of noise from passing cars when you opened the window.

MY opinion is somewhat distorted, we were on February 14 so the restaurant was full for Valentine's Day, the service was therefore very busy and the Brasserie side was a little neglected. But it remains a very good hotel, very good value for money and quiet. I highly recommend it for an evening stopover, the food is very good and the staff are pleasant.

Very friendly and smiling staff. Very cozy accommodation. Pretty. And even though it wasn't in the hotel itself, the annex was very good.
I was placed in the annex at the back of the hotel. You have to go behind the trash containers, the delivery people, the cat bowls, etc. to access an isolated entrance whose stairwell gives off the smell of trash and vomit-up fish, which gives access to 4 poorly insulated rooms from noise, (when someone enters this part of the hotel and into a room… impossible not to hear it, as if your neighbor is snoring, listening to the TV…) and the decor from another time…! !! And all this at the same price as the other rooms. I had already stayed in this hotel without problems but again in these conditions will not happen again! My colleague who did not know was very negatively surprised. So 3 complicated nights for me. I informed them of these inconveniences when I left... it didn't seem surprising because there was no reaction! The staff is friendly and the bistro and restaurant are very good... but that's not all.

Chouette hôtel
The hotel is a typical French village hotel rather jaded but adequate. It was clean.
We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast.
The parking is in a public car park across the busy road. Glad we had only an overnight bag..
Sleeping in the rooms facing the street is challenged by the floodlights above the windows. Thankfully the bed was very comfortable.
Very accommodating and extremely nice, professional staff. The food á la carte and the menus in the restaurant were very good, very tasty, very fair in price and definitely worth the price. Good wine list and of course good selection of champagne. Simpler meals in the in-house bistro next door. The rooms are modern, clean, the beds and blankets long enough for tall people. Our dog was welcome in the restaurant and in the room. 6,- were completely ok. Small, very fine wine shop in the hotel. The breakfast with a lot of choice was very good for 12 euros. Large free municipal parking lot right next to the hotel. Compliments on the cuisine and service. Ideal stopover on the journey to the Atlantic or Brittany/Normandy.
Very good restaurant, decent rooms in the old house (there is a modern annex too!). There is a lack of service staff for breakfast (after an hour no bread, drinks and other things and no one to complain)
Unfortunately very small bathroom and toilet. The rooms are great.

However, two small observations should be noted: - the TV in the room is really too small! - the lack of precise information during reception regarding the location of breakfast As for the restaurant: perfect, delicious in a more than pleasant setting.

I chose this hotel because I had already been there once. I loved this cozy and neat atmosphere in the room. I went back yesterday and I wasn't on the same side of the street. I was in the old part! Furniture from the 70s, green formica, cold lighting, small shower and broken support, in short, a little sad...

Beautiful establishment located in the center of Sainte-Ménehould, composed of a main building and an annex. Easy parking nearby. Attentive and efficient welcome. Accommodation in the annex on the second floor (elevator). Comfortable room. Restaurant and brasserie. Very correct brewery formula. Breakfast very good. VERY GOOD staff and service. The only BIG downside: the exterior soundproofing of the room!. Very noisy until late at night. Incomprehensible...
Top level room very hot, no AC. Water in bathroom very little pressure. Breakfast with minimal choices, breakfast room too small for so many people. The young lady serving breakfast was very friendly and kept her smile although the breakfast room was in chaos.

This is a brilliant hotel only 5 minutes from a main motorway (A4). Easy travelling to the Tunnel or channel ports
Room with cobwebs on the lamps and next to the bed. Carpet full of dust. Despite the heat, it's impossible to open the windows, the trash cans are just below plus the garbage truck at 5 a.m. (noise and pestilential smell). Corridor that smells closed. Was it a "hidden camera"? No excuses, just a “no need to book online!” Disgusted, I won't come back.

Room was a better doll's house with an extremely small bed. Shower in the bath!
Unfortunately, our room was very badly soundproofed and sleeping was impossible. You could even hear other visitors going to the toilet at night. In addition, it was unbearably hot in our room, there was no air conditioning and with the window open you could only hear street noise. The bathroom urgently needs a renovation. At this price the room was absolutely not adequate.

Comfortable hotel in a quiet village. Clean and spacious room. Comfy mattress, terrible pillow. Good breakfast with both sweet and savory choices. Also enjoyed the French dinner in the attached restaurant, at a fair price. Overall worth the visit, especially for the excellent value for money.

Bedding of average quality, but correct; Clean and functional bathroom. The restaurant is of good quality, with decent service. The wifi is weak, but sufficient for working.

Correct room but nothing more, brownish sink faucet, rather long breakfast supply, when we arrived, 60% of the proposals had arrived dry, it was a pity... Both in pastries and in cash. The bedding is comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is correct, the welcome is correct.
