Simple but functional room, and the restaurant table, a marvel!
Good welcome. Very clean room. Friendly and attentive staff. Quality breakfast. We park in the public car park opposite the hotel. Small downside. Average bedding. Good value for money.
It is not a modern building, but the welcome is friendly and the rooms are spacious. There are more modern ones, certainly, but personally I slept very well there and was able to work on a spacious desk.
Very warm welcome. Very decent room for a 2 star. Coffee and tea available in the room. Excellent food not to be missed. Successful stopover in Tournon sur Rhone.
I paid my reservation via booking and had to paid again when arrived on sunday evening.
This because the lady at the desk was not able to verify the early payement on her laptop.
The Hotel is equipped with Stop-Over overload. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße, aber auf Grund der modernen Fenster drang kein Straßenlärm zu uns herauf. Der Aufenthalt mit 2 kleinen Hunden war auch kein Problem. Der Zugang zur Zimmeretage erfolgt über eine enge, steile Treppe. Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität könnten hier Probleme bekommen. The Restaurant Reservation Info above is the Text of the Hotel Reservation that does not apply. Die Cheffin war aber sehr bemüht und ann etwas später doch eine Platz zu reservieren. The menu includes some dishes and some gut ingredients. If you don't have enough food and you don't have any Stop-Over results :-)
Very well located on the docks
We liked it very much. The room was a bit old, but very clean. The location is great, the dinner was delicious and the breakfast was also very good. The landlady was very nice! We are happy to have found this hotel. We were passing through and would stop here again. Very good value for money. Jutta and Steffen Dietrich
Oldfashioned but in an excellent way
Hotel to avoid, very small shower, small bed, you sleep on the springs, room not clean, empty shower products and no more toilet jammer, very thin walls, everything is in its original condition
Traditionelles Hotel + Restaurant, etwas altmodisch, aber sehr schönes Zimmer, alles da was man braucht. Einchecken um 13 h konnte auf Nachfrage bewerkstelligt werden. (Ja, es ist etwas laut in der Nacht, aber was kann man mitten in der Stadt erwarten). Parken geht vis-a-vis im Park und ist schattig. Fußgängerbrücke nach Tain l´Hermitage 1 min. entfernt.
Restaurant hat sehr gute traditionelle Küche ... alles ohne schnick-schnack, aber es schmeckt. Nette Bedienung.

The people were lovely, the room very clean and well prepared with tea and coffee making facilities, nice towels and a good bed too. The hotel is an old house in this historic town so you will find more of a retro atmosphere than pink neon lights, and that's nice. No lounge for guests, but a nice terrace.

As there is no air conditioning and you can't leave the windows open at night since the rooms overlook the main road of the city, you should think about fans a little more powerful than the existing one. We found free parking right across the street. We were greeted by the proprietor who offered to assist us with our bags. He took us to our single room but upon discovery of some malfunctioning lights, he immediately upgraded us to a much larger room with two beds. His wife served us at dinner in their excellent, modest little restaurant overlooking the river and magnificent hill of Hermitage. Meals were good and service very polite and attentive. Check out was seamless.

Good welcome, dinner adapted this week, for the Ardéchoise cyclists. Classic breakfast, very good. Room overlooking the main street, a little noisy, still pleasant. It's a shame that there isn't a magnetic badge door for entry after 10 p.m., because I had to come down and open the door quite late.

Hotel in its original state but clean. Bathroom with tiny shower cubicle. No soundproofing. Staff who speak loudly in front of the rooms and vacuum at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays and who knock on your door at 10 a.m. to make you leave. This is just unacceptable for a hotel.

My friends (not me, I just made the reservation for my 2 friends), they stayed 2 nights in this hotel, the day of check out, while waiting in the reception (before 10:00) the manager asked them to go out (it was raining out) to wait and the hotel is under cleaning hour!! This is not professional work, guest must have the right to stay in the reception!!

Very disappointed ! Establishment rated with 2 stars but very old, shower to avoid if large and spacious! 3rd child on a camp bed (but comfortable) Very very noisy! The room is small. We are far from the 19 m2 mentioned in the ad. It was located on the 2nd floor without a lift. No air conditioning. The TV is difficult to use: too many menus. The reception and the cuisine are good.
