Tres beau lieu avec un accueil top et avec le sourire. Tres calme et reposant.
Une petite table pour travailler dans la chambre serait top pour les commerciaux.
Je recommande cette adresse.

Lovely place to stay

We only stayed one evening. The grounds and buildings are beautiful, and we would love to have explored them more. Unfortunately, we were driving from Paris and an accident caused us to not arrive until very late. When we arrived, there was no one there who spoke English or to help us with our bags. We were assigned a room on the first floor, which was up several flights of stairs, and my husband is disabled, so that was difficult. We were very hungry, and were told there is no food offered at the hotel except at breakfast. The lady said in broken English that she could direct us to nearby restaurants. After we had gotten settled, I went back downstairs to get the directions to food establishments, but there was no one there, so we went to bed hungry. There was no “mini bar” provided, only a tea/coffee set. We didn’t see anyone the entire rest of our stay. We would suggest that the hotel provide an English version of the other handouts they had for local attractions and restaurants. Everything there was in French.
The room was nice, but unexceptional for the price. The views were great. The bathroom was a decent size and soap and other notions were provided. The property was beautiful, but it was difficult to find. We had to have GPS guide us in through numerous roundabouts.

Nice hotel and warm welcome. But accommodation in the barn with correct service without more. Insufficient soundproofing; need to modernize and refresh the sde; very narrow shower; no bathroom furniture to put your things; no blackout curtains or shutters in the room.

The location of the hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The bed was really comfortable. We were disappointed because the electrical outlets didn't work so we had to shut down the bedside lights to use them. But the hotel recovered well by giving us a compassassions so the service was attentive. I would have liked a small towel to wash my face. In Quebec we call it a washcloth. There was a good choice of products for breakfast but we found it expensive.

Top and friendly team good little weekend spent breakfast very well large room clean and well decorated and the relaxation area really top in a unique setting. I will come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area

Poor breakfast

Perfect, refined decoration, comfortable bedding, clean and quiet. We appreciated.

The only downside to our stay was the really poor bathroom and the toilet separated from the bedroom with just a curtain, it's frankly not terrible compared to the size of the room

A most comfortable and beautiful accommodation and surrounds.

The rooms were large, the beds comfortable and the surroundings were serene and beautiful.
The breakfast was fairly basic for the price. The charming lady at the reception recommended
a very good restaurant in Saint-Lo, namely, Bistrot59.,where we had a wonderful dining experience.
We are a family of 4 and we were passing through Normandy, unfortunately staying only one night.

On arrival the hotel looked lovely, however I was bitten over 50 times by mosquitoes during the one night stay in the hotel. My partner and children too. I have been home for 4 nights and still struggling with the bites. Disappointing and bad nights sleep. Would not recommend.

Un établissement superbe, au calme absolu, idéalement situé pour visiter la Manche à 45 minutes des côtes, des points touristiques et proche de Saint Lo où l'offre de restauration est assez large. Il faut aimer le côté Château mais le confort est là. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement !

Absolutely love love love Chateau de la Roque, it is a hidden gem! We received a fantastic welcome, very friendly atmosphere and were so impressed with our family room and the space we had.
I would highly recommend this hotel for any guests and most certainly we will be back again.

There was a mix-up with the reservation and booking.com didn't give any notice to the hotel I canceled one night. Regarding this problem, the receptionist was very understanding and sympathetic, although it was a nuisance for them. the location is very nice and the property calm and inviting for walks or simply relax in the garden. The city of Saint Lo is very close and you can buy everything you need or eat in a local restaurant. The interiors are lovely in some areas but somewhat old-fashioned in others, such as the bathrooms and the restaurant where we had breakfast. The whole stay was enjoyable in all, but be careful not to forget anything in the bedroom, as you never get it back. I left a ring on the table and when I called it in, it was already missing, which is very disappointing... canceled one night. Very nice place with wonderful surroundings. Breakfast in the yard with swifts in the blue sky. What more do you want.?

Unfortunately no one could speak English. The bathrooms were a bit dated. But we have been well looked after, beautiful, spacious rooms, a wonderful castle garden, great old castle building!

Lovely surroundings and loads of character. We only stayed for one night as B&B but there is also a state of the art wedding venue.

Beautiful room in a superb setting, a very good breakfast and a very warm welcome. Almost perfect: only small downside for the toilets in the family room with only veils to isolate themselves which can be annoying for some. This did not affect our stay unduly, but perhaps a glass roof could help to gain sound privacy while preserving the brightness of the place.

Magnificent house in a quiet and very comfortable. The welcome was very friendly, and the breakfasts plentiful and varied. If we return to the area we will be back.
