the hotel reception only opens at 5:30 p.m. and at 5:45 p.m. it is the chef who welcomes you because the receptionist has an errand to run. When she finally arrives at 6 p.m., she doesn't have time to take care of your parking space because there are other customers waiting behind you. So you're the one waiting! The breakfast slot starts at 8:15 a.m. because the lady in question has a 10-minute walk to get the bread from the baker. It ends at 9:30 a.m. For a weekend, that seems a bit short and a bit early!

This was a charming little hotel. The restaurant was amazing - quality and presentation of the food was superb.
The location of the hotel in the center is a very positive point. Eating outside on the terrace gives the feeling of participating in the life of the city. A wonderful city. The meal and wine(s) were of a superior quality. The service very kind and attentive. Climbing two flights of stairs with the luggage to reach the room was a bit difficult. The perfect breakfast.
Cleaning in the room needs to be improved, especially in the bathroom (cobwebs, air vents not nickel at all).
Nobody at the reception when we arrived at 4 p.m. We had to wait until 5:30 p.m. for the owner to arrive, claiming that her delay was due to an errand she had to do. LAMENTABLE
Hotel not air-conditioned and access to the rooms by stairs without elevator, no parking because pedestrian street. On the other hand, very fine dinner with a lot of choice.
We can't help it, in this heat wave, but it was so hot that it was difficult to fit in the room which was at the very top!

Was unable to get in to hotel first day due to a crisp in the kitchen. These things can’t be helped but communication was sadly lacking. Have stayed in better Logis with same rating. Food ok.
A warm welcome, a charming team who were keen to give us lots of information on the region, the events of the weekend... Simple but clean and large rooms. A quality restoration very appreciated by all! Perfect location to discover Chinon.

Excellent restaurant worthy of the greatest tables. The touchscreen tablet ordering is far from necessary and is not at all worth the human ordering with its comments, and it ends up like that anyway, but what arrives on the plate is perfect. For accommodation and breakfast, the manager would be better off not sharing her thoughts with us, because she gives the impression that we are bothering her, which is a shame because in the end, we get everything we want. we ask. Help with transporting luggage would be welcome (1st floor without elevator, 22 steps). The room was very beautiful, very quiet and comfortable, highly recommended.
