Warm welcome, gourmet restaurant, everything is perfect. We had a great weekend. Thanks to the whole team.
Hotel restaurant "A la Tête de Lard", with a predestined name as the owner tells it, located in La Ferté-Imbault in a small typical Sologne village on a human scale with a few shops that enliven the place. The Blanc Argent railway line, with its stop at La Ferté Imbault, also allows you to discover the region in a different way than on foot, by bike or by car.
Hotel with old-fashioned charm that I highly recommend! Perfect welcome, perfect cleanliness and very spacious rooms.
I had reserved a room on January 8 and when I arrived the hotel was closed; nobody was there! I called and waited for a quarter of an hour in the rain, but nothing happened. I left angry.

A perfect welcome, whether in the hotel or in the restaurant. Comfortable room, no perceptible noise during the night. Cuisine as hearty as it is delicious, very pleasant setting. All in a quiet little village with a visitable castle. The icing on the cake: free private parking and accept American Express. We had a great time at this establishment.
We are and the place was closed . We asked local people and it appeared that nobody was present. No door bell and the phone provided cut off no facilities to leave a message.

Disappointing welcome. They don't even answer your hello. The boss is very cold and does not make you want to come back. Restoration correct but very expensive but being the only ones in the town not too much choice.

Arrived very late but the key was available. I had received the code for the door box by SMS. Clean room. Comfort bed. Bathroom minimalist but sufficient and clean, well equipped (soap, lots of towels, hair dryer... Very complete breakfast. Fresh products (breads, pastries) and homemade (jams) Unfortunately, I was not able to test the restaurant. recommend this establishment.

Wel jammer dat men constant aanwezig was in het restaurant van zodra er iets leeg of
men had gedaan met eten ruimde men al af, je had niet het gevoel rustig te kunnen dineren of ontbijten.

Het was mij niet medegedeeld dat het restaurant gesloten was.
Zonder uitleg werd een code toegestuurd. Ter plaatse begreep ik pas dat dit was omdat niemand aanwezig was.
Het was prettig geweest wanneer een advies over restaurants in de omgeving beschikbaar was geweest of tevoren was toegezonden. Nu ben ik op advies van twee mensen op straat naar Romorantin gereden (24 km) waar vrijwel alle restaurants gesloten waren. Bij navraag bleek dat in Salbris (7 km) meerdere restaurants open waren.

De reden dat wij hier al 4 keer zijn geweest op doorreis is dat het hotel goed is voor een doorreis, maar de keuken ( het eten) is voor ons de reden om hiervoor deze accommodatie te kiezen. Heerlijk eerlijk diner in gezellige ambiance.
