Restaurant le Louis XI

Old-fashioned room, with a second bed that I hadn't requested and which was covered in dust. the bathroom light does not work, there is no fridge in the room, the shutter to open the window is broken, the paint is chipped, the furniture damaged. in short, it is far from worth the price I paid.

Friendly welcome and obliging host, but not sure that location and ambience justified the price of the room, taking other factors into account.

Bed 140*190, I hadn't seen that for years, canvases are everywhere in the room, on the stairs, the walls not very clean and a musty smell in the room…. Only positive point is the evening catering in the evening stopover. Breakfast is served late at 7:30 am, and the orange juice machine was dirty (orange juice probably stuck on the plastic from the day before). Finally the very slow wifi and sometimes disconnecting, as the reception was closed at 8:15 p.m. when I went down to dinner I could not ask them why, this also surely explains why some TV channels are missing, in particular that of the M6 group.

Hotel interesting by its originality but which has the defects of its qualities, the rooms are spacious but strangely equipped, the reception is curious, not very visible and poorly explained. You can spend an evening there but a stay should be short. Catering separate from the hotel, in original premises, a bit expensive.

Comfortable hotel with walls steeped in history

An establishment full of charm, intimate and very well located just in front of the Loire which can be heard from some rooms. A high quality breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. This was my second stay and I'm already planning my third!

Hospitality is the core. That's right. The location is beautiful. The food and the beds are good. The only small downside is the lack of ventilation in the bathroom.

I have arrived lately. I never eu ever code to reach the portal even if the receptionist m'ont téléphone pour me dire que je l'auriez par SMS. At 00h00 j'étais á la porte de l'hôtel sans moyen pour entrer. Après, ils m'ont chargé 2 nuits sur 3 réservées sur ma CB.

Very friendly welcome and service during our stay. The dinner was very good. The hotel is old and charming, but is looking rather tired and in need of some redecoration and modernisation.

Lots of stairs. Nice old historic hotel. You can eat well with a beautiful view of the Loire.

Very disappointing!!!, Dirty hotel and a smell of sewage in the room, mediocre bedding, dirty coffee machine, poor breakfast, I'm not used to criticizing, but that's too much! Very expensive for a disappointing stay!!!

Comfortable room, excellent food, pleasant staff and beautiful location.

This hotel is not worthy of a 3*. A very narrow staircase without a lift, sockets in the room without protection, no wifi on the second floor and empty jam jars for breakfast.

Charming hotel in historic building. large room, very narrow steep staircase. Restaurant in the hotel has its own owner, offers solid French cuisine in a rustic setting, menu prices are appropriate for the region. WiFi only works in the rooms, not in the restaurant or breakfast room
