This hotel was perfectly adequate and one we will probably use again but we have stayed in better Logis in the area.

The hotel is nice but obviously needs updating. The bathroom is from another era and not in phase with a 3 star. Room amenities are basic. We would also have appreciated the presence of a fridge and a courtesy tray.
great hosts, good dinner
No reception, minimalist welcome. No welcome tray, at least one bottle of water... breakfast too expensive. Good food but menu 35,36,37 euros incomprehensible to read...Do not accept holiday vouchers because they do not know how to do and there is a commission ... value for money below what is found in this range of hotels .. too bad the region is beautiful ....
Obviously the crowds at the end of July could explain the expeditious behavior and the lack of freedom of the consumer in the restaurant where a carafe of water was refused to us and the butler lacked correction towards the customers and the staff, even if the site and the meal were very pleasant. The menus offered being beyond 35 euros, we expected attentive and professional service.
Room was good, bit outdated. Service was strongly focused on turnover, slightly pushy. Breakfast price was higher than indication on website. Dinner was neat in terms of design (but pricey) main seasoning was unfortunately salty.
Poor organization and overpriced prices: 12 euros for a bottle of mineral water!
Arrived at 16.00 to find a sign saying hotel closed till 18.00. Luckily a door was open and w3 found a number to call and someone checked us in. No mention of this at booking. Very poor.

Beautiful hotel with an incredible view, either from the restaurant or from the balcony of the room. Excellent meal in the restaurant for a very reasonable price. Like everywhere the boss encounters recruitment problems so a bit of a wait here and there but frankly nothing too bad.....especially if you're on vacation. A little patience and taking the time to enjoy would be good for everyone! In short, thank you for this stay up to what we expect from a Logis. Aurélie & Bruno N
Comfortable room good bedding the only downside is the restaurant manager who does not know how to organize himself and who wants to manage everything, the wait for dinner was long, fortunately the boss in charge of breakfast was nice.
Correct establishment, the manager is a very pleasant person who suffers from a flagrant lack of staff and supports a room manager who is just pleasant with the customers, very unpleasant with his colleagues (which makes the customers uncomfortable). Because of this person, the service is totally disorganized (which makes you smile sometimes: are you waiting for the dessert? not the main course! or do you want the wine list? no, we're finished... luckily we don't drink wine) because he does not delegate any task: he wants to do everything: welcome, place customers, take orders, serve, supervise: the last evening we took 2 hours to eat the starter and the main course. We didn't wait for dessert and he didn't notice. Damage! The dining room is pleasant with a beautiful view, the dishes are very generous and of good quality About the hotel: we had 2 rooms: correct even if a refreshment would be welcome (we had a useless bidet in the bathroom while moving the basin instead of the bidet would give space without much expense); bars or towel racks would be welcome because, for the environment, it is normal not to change the bath linen every day but how to dry them on a very small wall rack?) The room for 2 people had a bed in 140 and the room, smaller, for 1 person had a bed 160.... look for the error. In the access corridor to the rooms there is a storage place for bags of laundry awaiting collection by the cleaning company: even if everything is bagged, a closed place would be more appropriate and not in view of customers at all of their passage. We just hope that these comments will be a source of improvement for future customers so that this establishment keeps the good reputation that prompted us to stay there.

Kitchen Excellent
We had a great stay at this hotel! My mom and I were there from the U.S. and stayed for a week while we visited my brother and sister-in-law who live nearby. We had the best view from our window and balcony, I could hardly believe where we were every morning waking up...so much beauty. We slept with the windows open and could hear the soft trickle of the Lods river below. The whole place is very peaceful and relaxing. We speak very little French and the owner and staff speak very little English, so check in was a little awkward but the owner, who is available at breakfast and early half of the day, was so friendly and cheerful. My elderly mom did not like that there was not a stand up shower, but other than that we had no complaints! The restaurant has the same view as our room, and breakfast was a relaxing and pleasant experience each day. I would stay here again anytime!

The restaurant only offers a menu at a prohibitive price! 36 euro! No a la carte catering. The imposed menu catering is a forced sale scam. It lacks choice, and an economic formula. The lack or economy of personnel is obvious. that excuses nothing. The room smelled of confinement. not ventilated. The view is not exceptional. I will not come back.
Noua stayed at the Hôtel de la Cascade in Mouthier Saint Pierre from May 26 to 28, 2022. And when we arrived, we were very badly received by the boss?? in any case, a person who also served the midday meals. Following a dispute over the price of overnight stays (booked on Logis de France via the Internet), this gentleman very quickly got angry: "Treat me a thief in front of the customers as long as you're there" "I'm on the brink of kick you out!" Fortunately, we did not see him again and the rest of the stay went well. A small flat on the tap water which would be unfit for consumption... according to the statements, small forced sale of bottled water...
we were in this establishment in June, the room was already very dilapidated, the images on its site very misleading, the dishes already, I who am a cook, I can affirm that these are reconstituted and basically frozen dishes, capon in full of June, unheard of, the room, it looks like my grandmother's room, moreover 140 beds, I thought it no longer existed, apart from the view was magnificent, the breakfast, speaking in: no a local product, especially since they have cheese factories and homemade jams not far away, there, it was jars of jam bought in stores, in the Jura, not a piece of conté, nor homemade jam, not a slice of ham quality, the rooms not equipped with air conditioning, given the heat at the moment, finally to avoid if possible, we will not return. !!!!

A nice hotel, very clean with a good restaurant, beautiful rooms, some of them with a terrace. The only downside is the hotel parking lot, which is too small to accommodate everyone's cars.
Extraordinary situation: A death is said to have paralyzed operations, so that dinner and breakfast were offered. The communication of these circumstances was somewhat chaotic, hence the low rating of the efficiency of the formalities.

Pleasantly unusual experience. Nothing to say about the quality of the accommodation and the breakfast. But for dinner, why did you offer us the only menu at €36/person including several choices of starters and main courses with supplements (when clearly there was another choice)? Why did you impose breakfast at 8:45 a.m. and check out at 10 a.m.? A problem of people in the evening when the reception at breakfast was more "hotel"? We have the impression - after dinner - of having been "stuck"... Still happy that the person in the morning was friendly and gave us complete freedom to leave!
