Extremely disappointing considering its ranking on the Logis portal. The poor quality of the service provided by professionals during the overnight stay was appalling. The starter, main course, and dessert were far below average for an establishment of this category. The reception and room were substandard.

For an evening stopover, room 9 was not up to scratch!
Reception and general public areas are good, although we found the small lounge seating and bar area was very quickly full for a pre dinner drink.
We took our table in the restaurant area for an aperiitif which we were able to choose and were able have the same table for our second night.
A massive wine list with an amazing selection matched by the price.What a shame the limited menu was two sides only, one for adults the other for children.
The two meals we had were excellent but a longer stay would have made for a more difficult choice.
Breakfast had a good selection of food on offer .
Reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Very disappointed with the room (9) offered admittedly classed as a standard room but of limited area although all facilities were clean and fully operational.
The major problem has occurred due to the upper level rooms developed in the original roof area has resulted in the internal waste water system being accommodated between the upper level floor and the suspended false ceiling in the first floor.
Result is a constant sound of waste water running through the pipework throughout the night .
Stay for lunch or evening meal but one night only if a stay is essential .
Good parking area at the rear of the hotel.

Rooms were of a good quality and restaurant was excellent.
Chablis is a great village, very friendly and inviting as are the staff at the hotel. The location is excellent, just 250m from the Main Street but the best part is the restaurant. Food quality is first class and the wine list is extensive.
I would suggest the Wi-Fi needs an upgrade as it was slow and intermittent in my room.

Room 24 above the kitchen. Chimney / duct runs until 10 pm every night from the kitchen then can hear the washing up of the pans downstairs. Floor of room was bad, facilities very limited.
I have stayed here several times. Main reason for this tri was to visit some wine producers. Very nice hotel where you can have both breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the centre of Chablis.
Expensive romantic package, perhaps not suitable for the quality of service and food (no choice of starters, main courses, and desserts). We found the welcome average or disappointing, the meal okay, but we could have expected better, especially for the price. The accommodation, however, is very good, as is the dining room and the terrace for aperitifs. The hotel is very well located in Chablis. A decent establishment for a one-night stopover, but we've definitely stayed in better accommodations.
Unfortunately, there was no better room available. I'm a vegetarian, but only one dish was on the menu.
Good hotel, poor quality self-service restaurant.
Excellent and most enjoyable stay in a beautiful place/hotel.
We have stayed in this hotel several times in 2022/2923/2024. I felt on this trip that standards had gone down. Our Aircon was not working properly, shower taps were broken and rooms are feeling tired and in need of a refresh. Breakfast is completely self service and not that interesting. An auto coffee machine and juice machine give a cheap feeling. It is a shame as building and location are great.
My friend and I have had several pleasant stays before so decided to return. Our rooms this time were not so good and were located over the kitchen so noisy until late in the evening. We are both in our 80’s and this was a problem for us having early nights and afternoon siestas.
This is a wonderful find, a beautiful Logis hotel, just a few minute walk from the center of Chablis.
The staff, dining and bedroom were all just perfect.

The ground source heat pump is very noisy at the back of the hotel. We haven’t noticed it there before.
Very warm welcome from the staff. Very professional service while being friendly. Very gourmet restaurant experience. We ate very well. The menu was sufficient and presented alternatives for all tastes. The beef fillet was cooked perfectly and its pinot noir sauce was delicious. My partner enjoyed his duck breast and cherry sauce. The cheese plate, generous and varied, consisted of tasty cheeses. The success, a very successful and neat dessert, was very appreciated. The cellar book is a delight for lovers of good wines. We found what we were looking for at a very reasonable price.

Only slight issue; if you arrive late, the parking is full and you have to park offsite and walk about 2 blocks. The restaurant had limited choices for dinner and seem short staff on our visit

Our stay at the Hostellerie des Clos was very disappointing. WiFi was not working when we were in the room. Neither on mobile phone nor on iPad. Even in the reception hall, our Wi-Fi connection was not working. The receptionist didn't know why this happened and couldn't do anything about it. In the bathroom (room no. 4), the taps were so blocked (probably due to lime deposits) that the taps almost had to be forced to open the rain shower. Before starting breakfast we wanted to have a glass of orange juice, but unfortunately this was not available (it was sold out and apparently could not be restocked). A multi-fruit drink was available and came from the juice machine. During breakfast, the coffee machine did not work (Coffee machine broken). A thermos with black coffee and a carafe of hot water were provided. The deterioration of this hotel makes us understand that we will choose a different destination on our next trip.

Banheiro ótimo com boa ducha e bem protegido (o que evita molhação) Estacionamento gratuito. Opções de vinho com bom preço na recepção. E por falar em recepção, foram super atenciosos, falavam inglês e esbanjaram simpatia, principalmente Sra Matilda! Recomendo, muito!
We live in England. We have stayed here before, several years ago and will be staying again in September. We came back because our memory is of an excellent dining experience. We were not disappointed.

Having notified the hotel in advance that one of our party was coeliac and required gluten free options at dinner and breakfast, we were impressed by the efforts made by all the staff to accommodate this, both by reception staff and in the restaurant.
