Small ventilation problem in the bathroom causing a slight smell if you leave the door closed at night. Otherwise very clean establishment, quality bedding, well appointed bathroom. Restaurant: cuisine and local products of a very good standard.

Very nice hotel. Quiet location. Ideal for all motorcyclists because there is a convenient covered parking area made available by the structure where you can leave your motorbike. Clean and comfortable room. There is also a beautiful terrace at street level where, if desired, it is possible to eat the dishes made available by the restaurant. Positive experience.

The hotel is comfortable. However dated. The plumbing is noisy and the use of the toilet by the next door neighbors...alas...audible a lot. The beds were made every day in a "home" way ... pulled up ... in short. Towels always changed on request. We had dinner three times with satisfaction despite experiencing disorganization and breathlessness each time. At the time of payment, at the end of the stay, we also found and suffered discrepancies. We were charged for dishes and drinks that were not ordered or consumed. We didn't dispute it because, upstream, there was a blatantly naive mistake on our part, namely that of not having the bill drawn up at each dinner to verify the charge. We didn't want to argue. However, a little bitterness in the mouth remains...

Very cosy hotel, overall atmosphere very relaxing. Great parking around the street, no problems with Camper parking. Stayed on our way to Verdon gorge, city itself is worth to visit for Templar heritage.

A hotel near the Verdon Gorges with a garage for motorbikes. Friendly service at dinner. Breakfast is typically France. Unfortunately only one type of bread. The fruit didn't look nice anymore. Room #4 was at the back and was very quiet. The bed new and comfortable.

We stayed for one evening in this hotel with the whole family, including two small children. We took advantage of the restaurant, which was excellent and characteristic, as well as the breakfast. The history of the hotel, managed since 1737 by the same family, is truly fascinating. The rooms are not modern, but they are absolutely in the spirit of tradition and suitable for the needs of those who like to experience these places away from the frenzy of the city. The village, Comps-sur-Artuby, is well placed for visiting the Gorges du Verdon and many other beautiful places nearby. I recommend the short walk up to the church on the hill in front of the hotel. It takes just over 10 minutes and allows for an open visit to the entire surrounding area.

Not really welcome when we arrived, no politeness when we arrived either or even anything like an explanation about the hotel or the organization. We were given the keys, told where the room point was. Same the next day at breakfast. In short, more sympathetic when cashing the stay!

The hotel was super nice and very charming. I especially remember the hotelier and an incredibly friendly older gentleman who served us and was very humorous. What I also found very positive was the love for animals. We were immediately welcomed with our Wauzi and we were immediately given water for him. The rooms are simple but with flair and the food was terrific. A very good value for money. We recommend staying here for anyone visiting this wonderful area.

We have staude in the hotel in sommer for the last 30 years.
Its a lovely hotel.
But the kitchen is not special any more, and the breakfast is poor.

Superb hotel and restaurant! A real institution for about 3 centuries. Pleasantly surprised by the mild and cool climate despite the heat wave (long live the altitude and the stone)! Warm and friendly welcome. Clean and comfortable room. Very good bedding, hygiene products that smell very good and perfect room service. The home-made cuisine is excellent, with local and fresh quality products. If we could we would have tasted the whole menu. Truly a delight that will delight all taste buds. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. If I come back to the region I already know where to stay and eat! Thank you to the entire hotel service team as well as the kitchen teams for their welcome and kindness!!!

Hotel deserving of its reputation for its location and the quality and variety of its cuisine (fabulous desserts in particular) at reasonable prices. Rooms well appointed for a stay but absolutely prefer those facing the back to be able to sleep with the window open, especially when it is hot. Friendly and very helpful staff.

We had a great time. Very warm welcome (who love animals) by friendly and smiling staff. The half board formula is great. We slept very well, dined excellently and the breakfast was complete!!! We can only recommend this establishment.

The hotel and the room were fine. The hotel was in a good position - in the centre of the village, with parking, so it was easy to find and access. We were welcomed by, I assume, the owner or manager, and the room (although a littel old-fashioned) was fine and perfectly clean and well-equipped. We ordered dinner that night in the hotel (it was really the only restaurant in town and the menu was good and when the dishes arrived, they were excellent. The only problem was the service. We both ordered the 23 Euro menu and were brought the starters and the main course, and a bottle of wine (and a carafe or water and some wine glasses eventually) but after the main course, we waited, and waited and waited for someone to come and take our plates away and take our dessert order (included in the menu). After an hour, was asked the only other person still working in the restaurant if we could order from her. She was all alone and said she couldn't as she was struggling to serve her own tables. She said something about our "waiter" - the owner or manage being inside talking. We hadn't seen him for over an hour. He didn't reappaer. Eventually we just left, leaving a note of our room number for the bill. When we returend from our walk an hour later, our plates and glasses etc. were still on the table untouched. There wasn't anywhere else in the village to go for a drink so we went to bed. In the morning everyone was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good, although it wasn't clear on my booking that we would be charged extra for this. We were charged full price for the menu that we were only served part of and alhtought he hotel was good overall, it is funny how a relatively small thing like bad service can make what should have been a pleasant experience a bit of a disappointment and leave a bad taste in the mouth (not the taste of dessert however, as we didn't get any).

Rustic, clean and well maintained country hotel with free outdoor parking. We who live in an urban area, we appreciated the calm. In the restaurant, the products are fresh. We had a great time before bungee jumping.

The reception of the lady who received me was a bit straightforward, but the relationship was very cordial thereafter. The room overlooked the garden at the back of the hotel, with a view of the Saint-André chapel and the surrounding mountains in the distance. Clean and well equipped room. Perfect evening stopover (quality cuisine served in quantity).
