The rooms are ads good as ever but the restaurant was disappointing. The menu and presentation was more akin to a staff canteen rather than the fine dining the previous owner offered

Breakfast was very insufficient in quantity and choice compared to the price charged. Food was very good. Prices were very affordable. Staff in the dining room were excellent. Bathroom equipment was quite old but clean.

Hotel and restaurant a little outdated. Air conditioning missing in some rooms and dining room. TV operation erratic. Unsecured parking. Friendly staff. Quality cuisine.
Good, but the air conditioning is very inefficient, really very inefficient, and also putting batteries in the remote control that are not dead, and an instruction manual would not be too much.
Easy access, comfortable room, decent furniture and bathroom, average bedding. Price a little high for the service provided.

Excellent service, especially with a family member who is both gluten and lactose intolerant. A request was speedily dealt with (coffee sachets for flask; the kettle and tea-making stuff a great boon), the bed comfortable and the breakfast buffet set us up for the day. I would recommend to anyone.

We have stayed at this hotel several times now. It’s has always been a good experience. Doue en Anjou is a pretty little town. It has an excellent butchers and delicatessen where you can pick up anything you may need. Also a bakers with sandwiches made to order on a selection of breads. . It is aso close to many good vineyards.

The only small downside I would add to my testimony concerns the near impossibility of parking my vehicle safely in the immediate vicinity of the site.

We had a confirmed reservation for the night of Friday 14th June but when we arrived to check in at around 16.00 hrs, the hotel was in darkness and doors to reception were locked. I telephoned the hotel to find out why there was nobody there to welcome us and I heard a recorded maessage saying the hotel is closed on Friday even though there were other guests staying that night.
We were able to find alternative accomodation at another establishment at vey short notice and I may send you an invoice to cover our additional costs.

L'explication est que nous avons eu un très gros problème informatique et de logiciel pendant plusieurs jours et avions des réservations qui ne sont jamais tombées sur notre planning informatique de réservations. Votre réservation n'étant jamais arrivée sur notre logiciel, nous ne pouvions pas savoir que vous aviez une réservation. c'est d'autant plus regrettable que ce jour là la réception de l’hôtel ouvrait à17h puisque nous avions beaucoup de clients à l'hôtel et le restaurant était ouvert le soir pour une manifestation. Vous auriez du nous laisser un message téléphonique.Nous sommes confus et désolés de ce problème informatique qui a perturbé le bon déroulement de notre service réservations.
