The setting was very pleasant, and the food was excellent. Areas for improvement would be the heating and lighting in the room, which weren't ideal (cold and dim).
The hotel is very well located between the Seine and the castle. It's possible to visit the castle, church, orchard, village center, and other walking trails on foot. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. Pets are allowed. The hotel does the job for one night despite a few drawbacks. We were disappointed by the breakfast: hot drink, orange juice, and bread. No savory options (cheese, cold cuts, eggs), no yogurt, fruit, or cereal. It's not a buffet, so it's not all-you-can-eat. We found it expensive for what it was. In the room: no hairdryer, no kettle. In the bathroom: the shower water was lukewarm. There was a problem with the water pressure.

Very pleasant staff but the hotel is not very clean... It could use a serious makeover.
The hotel forgot to leave the keys available even though I had sent a message to let them know I was arriving at night after a day of work. No emergency number, no possibility of occupying a room. My 7-month pregnant colleague and I had to spend the night in our car! I'm still waiting for a manager to call me back for compensation or at least an apology. Frankly, a disgrace.
Room full of dust and sheets not changed. Shower not cleaned. I slept on the duvet with towels under me and fully dressed. I have never seen anything like this in my life!!! And yet I am a salesperson and I do a lot of hotel work. A disgrace!!!

Hotel that I would not recommend very frankly. 125€ for a very sparsely furnished room, (the reservation was for a triple room, I had a very basic room with a double bed) the bathroom of poor quality, shower barely warm. I had requested a bathtub when booking, which I confirmed by phone, but I had a shower in the end. But above all, the soundproofing of the hotel is deplorable, so at 4am, I could clearly hear the return of wedding guests from the surrounding area, doors slamming, showers taken late, in short, I absolutely do not recommend, especially for this price! I was unfortunately in a hurry so I was not able to talk to the staff about possibly changing rooms, that might have fixed things.
The hotel has a fantastic location and delicious food. Highly recommended to eat there. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view from our room. Ample public parking at the hotel. It's a charming town, lively despite its small size. Beautiful chateau. Definitely worth a night or two. The room is neat and clean.

Great location on the banks of the Seine with a lovely view of the plane trees and the river from the room, good value for money overall. The rooms were clean, the bedding comfortable. Breakfast was decent too. We've seen better decor, but at this price you can't have everything...

My second stay at this wonderful hotel. The location is beautiful on the borders of the Seine. The food in the restaurant was excellent and La Roche Guyon is a great base for exploring and is a lovely place, complete with a fabulous castle.
Magical environment on the banks of the Seine, very welcoming hotel, family atmosphere with a good restaurant
Well located in the village, clean spartan rooms but with work to be done; No central light in the room, only one of the 2 bedside lamps worked... bathroom to be renovated, bathroom door that cannot be opened completely because it hits the bed, a window particularly difficult to open.... Not only details to review! Responsibility shifts between managers, it was difficult to settle our rooms and the information transmitted by the evening team was false about the arrival time of the morning manager... Non-existent team cohesion!!!
The overall experience of this hotel did not come up to the standard I have come to expect from a Logis Hotel. Our reception was frosty, the hotellier didn't immediately recognise my booking and his attitude was generally disagreeable.
Some of the waiting staff for the restaurant were grumpy and impatient. The decor of the dining room looked very good, but we were seated outside on the terrace.
The bedroom was on the small size, but adequate, as was the bathroom.
The hotel is in desperate need of some improvements and lots of TLC
When I arrived, I almost apologized for disturbing the room I had booked in advance directly through the hotel's website; that only concerns the receptionist. That said, for my second stay, a few days later, having wanted a slightly larger room, I received their best offer at no extra cost, and frankly, I really appreciated that. The setting is superb, the dining areas generous, there is tremendous potential that I strongly encourage you to highlight (or re-highlight). The site is worth it.
A pleasant and idyllically situated hotel along the banks of the Seine. A clean and spacious room for two adults and a teenager, and a restaurant that offers excellent value for money.
Beautifully situated hotel with friendly, yet grumpy staff. Poorly maintained and the room, kitchen, and dining room were poorly cleaned. Actually filthy. No clean towels / rented the room for 2 nights.

An establishment with a history... the hotel is truly, as its name suggests, on the banks of the Seine, and allows you to stroll along the paths that mark it. Warm and attentive welcome, quality restaurant and attentive waiters, what more could you ask for? Isabelle
A difficult experience overall. Situated in a wonderful position but in need of considerable renovation. The room was unkempt and the bedding inside the clean cover looked dirty. The bedding was exposed as the cover was torn and threadbare. There was one small pillow each but when I asked for another one I was told none were available. I had intended to ask for a change of bedding but was now reluctant to do so.
Our evening meal was very nice and the staff were friendly however breakfast was absolutely minimal.
We left after one night.

On the basic room, but clean, good bedding but lack of lighting, blackout curtains but not stuck to the wall so let the light in, room on the street not soundproofed so difficult to have 0 noise, you can even hear the fountain 10m away in the street. And the TV does not pick up very well like the wifi ... For a work stopover, it's not a blast.
