Correct, but pay attention to the details: - The fries were swimming in oil - a little smile, gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen 😜
The welcome is friendly but the hotel is a little shabby and the smell in the corridors is slightly unpleasant. It's a shame the restaurant was closed but I'm told that the Brasserie du Bac was recommended for dinner and was great.
Let's get the negative points out of the way right away: - the room decor is a bit dated, - the shower water pressure is very low (on the 2nd floor). Apart from that, the GUILBAUD room is spacious enough (with a very nice view of the Seine), well equipped with its desk area to work in good conditions. As for the food, the overnight stay offers a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts. The plates are well presented, the products are quality and well prepared. As for breakfast, there is less choice than in other lodgings but still, sweet and savory are offered. I would have preferred a different bread than white bread (wholemeal bread, cereals) but there is enough to have a perfectly decent breakfast. Last but not least, the welcome and the service: faultless! The welcome by a person who, I assume, is the owner of the establishment is pleasant: courteous and very friendly. The service in the dining room is provided by a very friendly and dynamic person. To top it all off, the hotel is very well located and parking is easy. I will definitely keep this address for a future visit to the region.
Decor to improve and change the carpet
Large room with a view of the Seine. Separate toilet. The restaurant is very useful and very good. The service is impeccable.
Very warm welcome but very poor hotel services. Very old-fashioned room, shower "cabin" needs to be redone (not even a place to put shower gel, one hot water tap, one cold water tap, old-fashioned). No electrical outlet near the bed. When I arrived in the room, everything was in darkness, shutters closed (there was no strong heat), not very welcoming. Dinner only offered between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., which is very short, especially in summer. Fortunately, I was kindly offered a good meal tray in my room a little later.
